July 1, 2024 at 3:01 pm #290249Hi There,
I’m glad you reached out. I’d be happy to assist you with the comments form issue.
To ensure comments are enabled, navigate to:
- Appearance > Customize > Posts/Pages Layout > Single Post Layout.
- Scroll down to Show Comments option and enable the option.
For reference, here’s an Enable comments.
If the Show Comments option is already enabled, but comments still aren’t showing, please check your other plugins. Some settings might override the default configuration. You can temporarily deactivate plugins to identify any conflicts. Refer to this guide for detailed steps: https://www.kadencewp.com/blog/how-to-troubleshoot-your-website/
I hope this helps. Let us know if we can assist you further.
Best Regards,
ArchitaIn forum: Kadence ThemeJuly 1, 2024 at 8:54 am #290247Hello,
I’m using the Kadence theme for my home care gold coast website and have encountered an issue. When users click on the author URL from individual articles and category pages, they are redirected to the homepage instead of the author’s archive page. This occurs even though the author link is enabled in the preferences. Additionally, clicking on an author in the sitemap also redirects to the homepage.
Your assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

July 1, 2024 at 4:06 am #290242Hey Kat,
Thanks for the link to the page.
You have this code that’s not from the Kadence theme:
p { padding-bottom: 20px; line-height: 120% !important; }See screenshot: https://share.zight.com/Wnu8p6eo
Please check if you have added that code somewhere. The possible places where you can add custom codes are in:
* Customizer > Additional CSS
* Appearance > Theme File Editor (if you’re using a child theme)
* A third-party plugin settingIf you can’t find that code, it might be from a third-party plugin’s style.
Please let me know how it goes.
Best,

July 1, 2024 at 2:34 am #290240I’ve developed a custom post type integrated with Google Maps functionality. It successfully displays multiple pins, each corresponding to a location from the custom posts. This part works seamlessly. However, due to specific coding requirements, I’m unable to utilize elements (which are incredibly useful, by the way). Typically, one would follow WordPress’ guidelines for custom page templates. In this instance, I attempted to use Kadence’s index.php template, but encountered compatibility issues leading to functionality breaks.
In forum: Kadence BlocksJune 28, 2024 at 7:28 am #290225Hi,
I do have some websites. Somtimes I have content on one site i like to use on another site. So I just open the editor, copy the content and paste it in the other page. This is working perfect. The images I have inside the advanced gallery are looking perfect. But when i click on an image on the new site, the image is not displayed in the Lightbox. a new tab with the image will be open instead. Is there a easy solution for this?
The content comes from this page: *Login to see link
It will be used on this page (Tab Bilder): *Login to see linkKind regads
ChristophIn forum: Kadence BlocksJune 28, 2024 at 3:30 am #290224Hello Kadence team,
We use your Kadence woo module, which allows us to create custom templates for our product pages.
We have the option to hide content via CSS depending on whether the user is on desktop or mobile. However, I’d like to know how to perform detection at php level and be able to completely exclude blocks (and not just hide them with css) to improve loading time on mobile.
The best thing would be to have an option in the template to display it only for a specific support.
Many thanks for your answers

Hey there!
This topic has been marked as solved. For the support team to have better visibility of your topic, please submit a new one.
I cannot replicate the issue on my website, but I’d be happy to check this with you. Could you give us a page URL where I can see the Accordion block?
You can mark your reply as private so only us can see the URL.

This is an FYI to whoever might be watching this — don’t update to the latest blocks yet… Looks like there are problems
In forum: Kadence BlocksHi there
today 27/6/24 @ 10.15am NZST I upgraded to the latest plugin updates and now getting a weird blocks javascript error;

To isolate the issue, I cleared cache everywhere, deactivated all plugins etc, followed all steps, even reinstalled WP. I found the issue to be with the kadence blocks or blocks pro – I was not able to find the root cause – appears to be a react issue. But when deactivated, the issue no longer occurs. Obviously inconvenient not to be able to use blocks pro so please advise fix.

Hi there,
Try using the Page Title in the “Site” group.
Here’s a video: https://share.zight.com/z8uobr2A
Hope this helps and let us know if this works for you.
In forum: Ascend ThemeI see on this support forum that people have posted CSS code using flex-direction: column-reverse; to move their sidebars to the page top on mobile views, but I’m not finding one for premium Ascend Theme. What CSS would move the sidebar to display first before page content on mobile view?

June 26, 2024 at 10:53 am #290196I have a new WordPress website (PHP version 8.2) using the Kadence theme with Kadence Blocks, and after updating to Kadence Blocks 3.2.45, it breaks the WordPress editor for both posts and pages and shows a completely white blank page. Rolling back the plugin to version 3.2.41 fixes the issue. I have tried ruling out all plugin conflicts, activating the default Twenty Twenty Four theme, refreshing my permalinks, and my website is running the latest version of WordPress but the issue still persists.
In forum: Kadence ThemeJune 26, 2024 at 10:39 am #290194I’ve created a custom hooked element for the search results page using a query loop and everything is working perfectly. I’d like to also have a custom above content hero area that matches the rest of the site but when I use dynamic content for “Post Title” the hero title displays the first search result as the title and not the standard “You searched for: search term” title. How do I use dynamic content to display the “You Searched For: search term” as the title.
Thank you in advance
