In reply to: “flex-grow” new setting on sections usage
June 26, 2024 at 1:01 am #290187Hi, thanks for your answer!
So I tried this, and it kind of worked :
It wasn’t working until I set a vertical alignement option on the parent as you said, but also any number on “flex-grow” to the parent too (otherwise, nothing would work, with only vertical alignment, this was moving the two columns up and down).But then, whereas it was good looking in the editor, it turned bad on the real rendered page…
I made a screencast so you can see what I’ve done :Best regards,
EmmanuelIn forum: Kadence BlocksIn reply to: Show More block font size
Hi, Matt!
Thanks for the link. I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
I inspected the page styles for both the list items and saw they both use the MD font size. This doesn’t change for mobile views. I also viewed them side-by-side, but they show the same size on my screen – https://share.zight.com/eDuKrObd

I don’t see the issue anymore – https://share.zight.com/o0uLYd0Z. There must be a<br>
HTML tag that can cause the line to break.Please let us know if we can help you with this further.

June 25, 2024 at 7:53 am #290175Hi Gabs,
Thanks for writing in.
Can you please send here a screen recording of the changes you’re making and how it looks on the frontend? I will check how the frontend appears on my end if you could provide the link to the archive page.
Also, in the meantime, you could do the troubleshooting steps outlined in this article:

June 20, 2024 at 11:08 pm #290020Having the same issue. Just updated the plugin and now my site won’t load. Deactivated “Kadence Blocks – Gutenberg Blocks for Page Builder Features” and suddenly it loaded but it wasn’t pretty of course. Just rolled back to it’s former version and it’s working fine now.

In forum: Kadence ThemeJune 20, 2024 at 2:50 pm #290018If you are in the middle of the page and make the window as small as possible and then enlarge it to a normal window width, the header becomes transparent instead of white and disappears completely when scrolling. The header only appears again at the very top and bottom. It only works properly again after reloading the page.
Safari and Chrome on OSX the same.
Please help

June 19, 2024 at 1:40 pm #290007Hi @saggausackeym,
I tried to recreate the issue you mentioned, but couldn’t replicate it. I can edit/customize the pages and posts at my end without any error. You can refer to the screencast for reference: https://share.zight.com/ApumDPYy
Currently, I am using latest version of Kadence plugins and themes.
To troubleshoot, please follow these steps:
- Try to deactivate the plugins one by one and see if there is any plugin that is causing conflict. Check this article to troubleshoot: https://www.kadencewp.com/blog/how-to-troubleshoot-your-website/
- Can you check for console errors you are getting while trying to load the second page? Check this article to troubleshoot: https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-theme/knowledge-base/troubleshooting/how-to-view-console-log-errors/
- Check the article to clear the cache: https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-theme/knowledge-base/troubleshooting/clearing-your-website-cache/
- Check the article to clear the browser cache and cookies: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/32050?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop
Could you give us your actual website URL so we can check the issue at our end?
Please let us know how it goes.

ArchitaIn forum: Kadence ThemeHi all!
I recently bought your product, but I can’t get it to work to display the dynamic content of my custom post type. I have followed several step-by-step guides multiple times
(for example, this one: *Login to see link
What I get is a blank page without content BUT, if I use the browser’s inspect element function, I can see the structure (for example, if I create a row, I see the created row element).
Really, I have tried and retried, I am sure I did all the steps correctly. When I go to insert the dynamic content, the fields are recognized, meaning that the connection to the custom post type worked, but still, I don’t see the content.
Can you help me? Thank you very much.Francesco

In the meantime, while in the editor, please set the view to mobile and adjust the block settings as preferred. Here is a demo screencast for your reference:

EzeJune 16, 2024 at 1:45 pm #289117Hello,
I am looking to alternate every second post on my homepage so that the featured image is either to the left or to the right of the excerpt and alternates each post. For instance my website is *Login to see link and I have 4 (duplicated for illustration purposes) posts and every second post I want the featured image which is currently to the left of the excerpt to actually be to the right of it. So that they alternate sides for each new post.
I am using the free version of Kadence WP and Kadence Blocks. Is this possible? And if so how would I do this? I can only find the option of on top or to the left and only if I create a “blog” page and set it as my homepage under homepage settings but it does not have an option for the image to be on the right rather then left.
If not in the free version if I bought the paid version again would this be possible and if so how?
Thanks in advance.
In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Site Container Around Header Logo
June 16, 2024 at 2:34 am #289115I understand how frustrating it can be to troubleshoot CSS issues. To reduce the site container around the logo in the header and eliminate the white space, you can add the following CSS code to your site’s Additional CSS section. This should help make the logo spread across the whole page.
/* Adjust the header container to make the logo span the full width */
.site-header .container {
max-width: 100% !important;
padding: 0 !important;
}/* Remove padding/margin around the logo */
.site-header .custom-logo-link img {
width: 100% !important;
height: auto;
display: block;
}/* Additional adjustments for any extra spacing */
.site-header {
padding: 0 !important;
margin: 0 !important;
}To add this CSS to your site:
Go to your WordPress dashboard.
Navigate to “Appearance” > “Customize”.
Click on the “Additional CSS” section.
Copy and paste the code above into the provided text area.
Publish the changes.
This should reduce the container size and help your logo span across the entire width of the page. If you encounter any issues or need further adjustments, feel free to ask!In forum: Kadence ThemeJune 14, 2024 at 8:00 pm #289112I have spent way to many hours researching and trying to fix this and I’ve given up. I cannot figure out how to reduce the site container around (purple area in the pic) the logo in the header to get rid of the white space and make the logo spread across the whole page at *Login to see link If someone could give me the code to post into additional CSS i would be very grateful.

In forum: Kadence ThemeJune 14, 2024 at 6:05 pm #289110Going to try to make this short, LOL!
I am making a custom post type tied into Google Maps. I have it so it shows multiple pins, pulling the location from each custom post. That all works fine on its own. However, I can’t use elements (the best thing EVER, FYI) because of the code I need. Normally, you would follow the WP custom page template guidelines, and in this case, I was using Kadence’s index.php, but it just breaks.
Here are the URLs to the code I’ve written. I excluded my Google Map API and the client domain from them for sharing code purposes.
In the “broken” version, the header/footer loads fine, but the content flashes and disappears (the map never shows). I understand that it’s most likely due to the header/footer scripts not being where they need to be, but I’m not sure the best way to approach this.
June 14, 2024 at 5:40 pm #289109Hello,
I’m using the Kadence theme for my site (*Login to see link I have encountered an issue where clicking on the author URL navigates users from the individual article and category pages to the homepage. Despite having the author link enabled in the preferences, clicking on an author in the sitemap redirects to the homepage instead of the author’s archive page.
Your assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
In forum: Kadence BlocksTopic: Show More block font size
June 14, 2024 at 4:50 am #289103I have an issue where the font size of text in an Icon List block displays smaller on mobile if the Icon List block is within the Show More drop down block (see pic 1).
If I use a regular Icon List block (without the Show More drop down) the text displays larger (see pic 2).
In both cases, the font size is set to Medium for mobile in the Icon List text styling tab and they both use the same font.
How can I make these two uses of Icon List display the same as its very noticeable when the font size changes when they are both used on the same page?
Many thanks
Matt
