    We have a custom run of blog posts displayed on a page (filtered by category) and we are looking to rearrange the order of them
    one of the options available to us is ‘Order by Menu’ which would be a great solution I just don’t know how to then find or edit
    this menu.

    Has anyone one used the order by menu feature and customised it too?

    Hello,
    I’m in the process of building (or at least trying to build) a page like on the tesla site with a full-width, full-height image in which I have my various rows and columns. My problem is that I can’t get anything on the height of the viewport, even though I’ve set my global row to 100 vh.
    Here’s the result

    In the screenshot you can see my composition structure. If you have a solution, I’d love to hear from you.

    Thanks in advance.
    Have a nice day!

    I’ve already sent this question to the WordPress support forums a few days ago, but haven’t had a response as of yet. I am really hoping you can help me as I am completely stumped on this one.

    Up until a few days ago, the Gallery (where the portfolio grid is) worked fine – you could click on a painting and would be taken to the appropriate portfolio page. But now when you click on the paintings, the portfolio pages come up as “Sorry, but the page you were trying to view does not exist.” I am not sure what has happened – could this have been caused by an update to the Ascend theme? The portfolio pages still exist on the backend but for some reason they are not showing up live. Any help would be so much appreciated. Thank you…

    Here is the link to the Gallery

    I’d like to create a number of different Conversion Banners, then insert a placeholder block on a page, inline with all the other content, which dynamically loads in a different banner every time the page loads. I was hoping to use Kadence Conversions but, unless I’m missing something, I can’t see that it’s possible to insert a Kadence Conversion item as a block on a page.

    Should this be possible?

    I’ve changed my header settings and getting some strange behavior.

    I’ve changed the theme header to customize it. I’ve done it from Appearance > Settings > Header as well as accessing those menus from the “Customize” links at the top of a page when I’m previewing it.

    I can see the changes when I’m in the header editor and it looks perfect, but when I go back to page edit and then preview the pages (they are all drafts at this point and not published) the header doesn’t display the edits I’ve made.

    Any idea what is causing this? I have cleared the site cache several times and tried deactivating all plugins, same behavior.

    Thanks!

    Hello everyone… I am a long-time customer (since the days before subscriptions) and I do love the new Kadence WP theme (free version) and use it almost exclusively for my own development and for friends that I create for. Let me assure you that I have looked through several posts here in this forum and done a fair amount of searching on the web. There seems to be a lot of random info, but nothing to actually help me with my situation. I see lots of comments about using a real block theme, designing my own archive page, etc. However, I really think this is the best place to get sincere help. So…

    I want to modify the “posts page,” the one selected / designated in the reading settings. I am using the “Influencer” theme and I have invested too much time to move on to another one at this point. So, since most all of the pages use a custom Gutenberg design structure, I REALLY want to keep that look and feel on the blog page. See these links to view examples. These are on a development site that I am creating for a friend:

    Actual Blog Archive ->
    The way I want it to look ->

    The first one shown is the traditional archive page and styled as best I can with the Customizer… but it is missing important design elements. Ok, the second one was created with the “posts grid block” to get the result I want… EXCEPT, there is no pagination… which is my problem.

    Can anyone here help me solve this problem without paying for the PRO version of anything, please? Maybe some of you who are wizards in PHP and WordPress coding can help? I have a fair amount of knowledge on these things, but not enough to spend lots of extra hours of research since I am doing this freely for a friend. Maybe there is a way to insert a bit of code with a functions routine? I have looked at the theme files for Kadence WP and this seems to be a non-standard way of creating it. Don’t hate on me if I am wrong -and- I understand that you are giving it away for free and need to have a way to make money. Yet, it seems that the whole free Influencer theme add-on should be able to match the “look and feel” of the blog page to the other pages.

    Thanks for reading through this and please give me some direction that I can do on my own with no PRO purchase involved. Blessings to you all.

    The gallery carousels on our site have all stopped working. In fact, so have the “animate on scroll” items. I’ve tried turning off plugins but nothing seems to fix the issue. The advance arrows have also disappeared.

    Go to to see. The graphic and text above reappeared on the live site when I removed the animate on scroll setting.

    Additionally the accordian on this page, no longer functions

    Hi there!

    Can you confirm if you have created the menu in Polylang? Check the article: https://polylang.pro/doc/create-menus/

    I have checked the legacy widget at my end, the language option is displaying. Check the screenshot: https://share.zight.com/OAuNLN91

    As Karla mentioned, if you use Kadence Theme Pro, you can create a different footer using the Hooked Elements feature. You can use an option for specific pages/posts.

    Here’s a link to our documentation for your reference – https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-theme/how-to-replace-the-footer-using-a-kadence-element/.

    This is how I created a footer specifically for Tagalog pages/posts – https://share.zight.com/9Zu4G7O4

    If the issue persists, you can also send a support ticket to look closer at this issue.

    I hope this helps. If you have further questions, please let us know; we’ll be happy to help.

    Best Regards,
    Archita

    Is there a search.php file in the kadence theme? I am looking to custom code the search results page with php and javascript.

    Hi Ann,

    You can also edit the value of columns. So if for example you want it all on one row, then you need to make sure that posts_per_page and columns have the same value.

    So, for example I set 5 for both values. This is what happens: https://www.loom.com/share/f7f36410db744163ad44d3c6d1c5e6c0

    Let us know how we could help you further.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi there,

    I’d like to help you with this. However, I need further information so that I can advise a solution depending on your setup.

    * How/where did you get the “Cards 25”?
    * Can you please send a screenshot (or a screen recording) so that I can replicate it on my end and identify the issue?
    * Can you please include here the link to the page where I can see it?

    Thanks,
    Chito

    #287127

    Hey Gary,

    You can use this code:

    #masthead .item-is-stuck {
        -webkit-box-shadow: 0 2px 4px rgb(45 62 80 / 12%);
        -moz-box-shadow: 0 2px 4px rgb(45 62 80 / 12%);
        box-shadow: 0 2px 4px rgb(45 62 80 / 12%);
    }

    Sticky header will only be disabled if the vertical scroll is in the top most. That being said, even if a user reloads the page while in the middle of the page, the sticky header is still active.

    Let me know if you need further assistance.

    Best,
    Chito

    Hi Chad,

    Can you send here the links to sample page and post? This allows me to check the location of your H1s.

    I’m trying to know the location of your H1 because in Kadence, you can create a hooked element (requires Kadence Pro plugin) that replaces the title area for all pages and posts.

    Let me know, so I can advise a better, easier way if possible.

    Best,
    Chito

    #287125

    Hi Robert,

    Did you pull the dynamic content and duplicated the block(s) in a single custom post type or in a hooked element?

    Pasting a dynamic block into a different page will still get and display the custom fields accordingly.

    I tried it on my test site, and it’s working as expected — please watch this video: https://share.zight.com/L1uykRom

    If you can provide a screen recording, that would be great.

    Thanks,
    Chito

    #287124

    Hi Michael,

    Thanks for the link to the page.

    Tweak the codes to your liking.

    1. Sample code:

    .kt-gallery-caption-container {
        padding-top: 30px;
        padding-bottom: 30px;
    }

    2. Sample code:

    i.kt-gallery-item-icon:before,
    i.kt-gallery-item-icon:after{
        background: red
    }

    3. Transition is done using JavaScript, and it’s not possible to override it using custom CSS. Kadence no longer adds new features or settings for the classic plugins. I’m sorry, we don’t have the resources to help you with the code. I suggest reaching out to a developer to help you with this.

    4. The below code applies a font color for the active filter and when you hover over the filters:

    .kt-filters li.postclass > a.selected {
        color: red;
    }
    .kt-filters .kt-option-set li > a:hover{
        color: red
    }

    Let me know if you need further assistance.

    Best,
    Chito
