    Interesting. Did you try clearing your cache (perhaps you have an old version still cached from prior forum troubleshooting)? I’ve cleared any cache limits on my end as well, just in case.

    I’m still showing a broken layout.

    To clarify, I’m using the Homepage Layout Manager located in Theme Options > Home Layout.

    I have “Image Menu”, “Page Content”, and “Latest Blog Posts” enabled.

    The “Latest Blog Posts” is what’s breaking.

    EDIT: Your custom excerpt solution DID work, though the problem is still one I’d like to remedy, if possible. Maybe that might be fixed in a future update? I’m mostly concerned about this because I will not always be the one managing the website, and I dislike having hidden bugs and unclear workarounds. I’ve had to start making custom documentation for future web devs 🙂

    Hey,
    Are you using a custom SMTP plugin or is the mail running through the host server.

    You can do a quick test. install a plugin like contact form 7. Add it to a test page and attempt to send yourself a message. If it’s not going through then your have an issue with the mail server and you need to use a custom SMTP plugin or get your host to set up the mail server correctly on your sever.

    Hey,
    Did you have the carousel at the top of your post? Right now I’m seeing things showing up ok?

    Either way you should be abled to add anything like that in the post you just have to make sure to use a custom excerpt. (screen options at the top right corner and make sure excerpt is enabled.)

    Then the home page will show the excerpt and not pull from the dynamic content your putting in the post.

    Hi,

    I have the contact form on a contact page. The form looks good, I know that it had been working correctly at one point, but it is not now. I have done a couple of tests, and I get the message that the email was sent successfully. But I am not receiving any emails as I should be, I have checked my spam folder as well, and I have waited a bit of time to see if something would show up. I also looked at the misc settings, and there is the correct email address in there. So, I need some help figuring out how to correct this. The specific page is:

    EDIT: Rewriting this since more research revealed the issue.

    I have a post ( that was recently published. Using the SiteOrigin Page Builder, I added the Virtue Portfolio Carousel widget since it was relevant to the post.

    Apparently, this broke the Home Layout “Latest Blog Posts” widget (see homepage, (at bottom)), wherein it lists the new post, but nothing else except a home page preview (shows as though it were a post).

    I tried removing the carousel in the post, which fixed the home page issue. I would like to have the carousel (I’ve let it remain so you could see the issue yourself).

    Any insight on this?

    Ahh…I had the center option picked as I wanted it centered and that seemed the intuitive choice. I picked the first one as you selected and it’s still in the center, but now it’s larger! Thanks very much!

    Have one other question, but should I start a new thread for it? I am working on my portfolio post pages and wonder how I can make the slider take up less of the page so that my tabbed description items aren’t squished and wrap. Right now, it’s like a 60/40 split with the picture slider taking up 60% and the description and tabs getting the 40%. I have tried making the size of the slider smaller, but that just makes “it” smaller with more white space around it (smaller slider plus more white space still equals 60%). The tabbed area stays at the 40%. I would like the picture slider area to be about 40% with the tabbed info taking up the 60%.

    The anchor should go wherever you want the link to take you on the page. Then for the link you would just add #anchor or whatever you named the anchor.

    If that doesn’t make sense post a link to your site. That will give me an idea as to what your issue is.

    Do you want to change all the buttons to the same? make the update cart look the same as the proceed to checkout?
    Are you wanting to effect more buttons then just the cart page like for example the checkout and single product pages.
    What size font are we talking about? What color? Are you wanting to change the hover too?

    You also need to post a link for number 2.

    Hi I was wondering if there is a way to link my image menu items to a spot on that same page. It’s a long page of size charts so instead of creating new pages for each brand, I’d rather just have them on the same page. I know how to create the anchors, I just don’t know where to put the first anchor since there isn’t a spot in the image menu widget.

    I am trying to put the logo between the menu items much like Site Style Two in the preview for Virtue Premium. I am thinking this may be constricting the size of my logo as when I turn that option off, the logo goes to page width size. However, it still seems like it should be able to be much larger than it is. I haven’t even added any menu items yet.

    Just another question.
    I installed SEO by Yoast that you recommended for your theme earlier and received error message from Webmaster:

    Errors

    Sitemap is HTML

    Your Sitemap appears to be an HTML page. Please use a supported sitemap format instead.
    I contacted somebody who called herself as an Yoast expert to look at.
    She wrote to me:
    About sitemap. Yoast sitemap was not working because it is not compatible with your theme’s coding so you or maybe someone else added another sitemap plugin which is also good and working fine at the time being. :)Please advice.

    One thing you can do is just add a ecerpt to the page, then it would show that excert in the search results only.

    But you can also use a function like this to force shortcodes to function inside the excerpt.

    If we are using virtue column short codes, the search results page will not display any of the text content that is in the columns.

    How do we fix this or get some content in our search results?

    If you have “Enable Transparent header until scrolled?” set to on in your theme options > site header. Then by default your pages would have a transparent header.
    The only way they wouldn’t is if your overriding in the page itself. Or (I believe this is what your doing) if you have turned page titles off in the theme options > page title. If you have that off then you would have to override on the individual page to turn it back on if you want the slider to be up in the page title area.

    1. You would need to use the Kadence, cyclone or revolutions slider.

    2a. yes just add a custom link and in the link box put a #.

    2b. Right now it’s based on the width of the page, each item has a percentage of that width. If you want equal spacing you won’t have a menu that is the exact width of the content.

    Add this css in your theme options > advanced settings.

    3a. you can add this css in your theme options for the grid:

    img.alignleft, .wp-caption.alignleft {

    3b. Your adding the sidebar with pagebilder and not though a true sidebar. I can help with css if you use a true sidebar but with pagebuilder there isn’t an option for removing that padding.

    4a. You can try this css, see if it’s what your thinking.

margin: 0 auto;
}

    4b. What sidebar are you choosing in the archive defaults. Are you using a widget visibility plugins that hides widgets on certain pages?

    5. Slides don’t like to work if you place theme in a tab.. I think this hack should make them work for you add this css:

    display: block !important;
    height: 0;
    overflow: hidden;
    padding: 0;
}

.tab-content>.active {
    height: auto;
}

    Topic: Proceed to Check-Out Button Missing

    I was performing an update on WooCommerce v2.3.3, Virtue Premium v2.9.2, and had a notice that WooCommerce Authorize.net AIM Gateway also needed upgrade to 3.3.0. Performed WooCommerce update first and the AIM Gateway notice disappeared but did not update. Received notice that theme had bundled some old file. Did Virtue Premium update. Bundled issue did not resolve. When I checked the site, noticed that the “Proceed to Checkout” button was missing from the cart.

    So far, I’ve removed Virtue Premium and re-installed and did the same for the AIM plugin. No change.

    Ideas of where to look next? Below is a text file of the WooCommerce System Status report.

    I love this theme! Thanks for all your hard work. Below are the things I haven’t found answers for, your help is greatly appreciated!

    1. Can I make the home page slider full width? Right now it has white bars on the left and right sides.

    2a. I’m using the 2nd nav as my main nav. Is there a way to have a word on the menu bar that does not have a link-but just has a drop down menu? Example of what I want: –See nav bar item “Art Classes in Seattle”

    2b. Is there a way to space the items in the nav bar so that the spacing between each item is even?

    3. When I brought a grid from my old website into the Virtue theme, it added lots of padding. Is there a way to remove this? It also has padding around the right sidebar too, so the tiled background image doesn’t go right to the right edge of the page. And the paypal button menu has the tiled background and isn’t white like in the example.

    I want it to look like this (see left column):

    Right now it looks like this:

    4a. Is it possible to indent the left and right margins of the blog page and posts templates? I moved over all my Typepad posts and Virtue’s super wide format makes them look odd because previous the width was 470 pixels. If I can indent the left margin and right margins a bit, it might look better.
    This is what it looks like now:

    4b. On my Blog post archived pages-the sidebar isn’t showing up. I have it selected in the theme/blog category/archive defaults. It shows up on the main blog page, but not the archived posts.

    5. On this page:
    The cyclone slider gallery with thumbnails shows up on the first tabbed menu, but on the other tabbed menus, just the thumbnails are showing. All the cyclone sliders have the same settings. Do you know how to fix this?

    Hello!

    1. How to make 4 columns grid in block “recent posts”
    (3 columns in default and no options for “recent posts”, only for blogcategory pages)

    2. How to override WooCommerce reviews with custom reviews?
    this is social reviews in my case (VK API, look URL in my first question).

    I need “like” buttons under the title and after description (I use “short description” case). or, if possible, under the pictures block.

    and I need this social comments (like in URL with my first question) instead of default woo reviews.
    may be override, may be add my social comments and hide default reviews. doesn’t matter.
