    URGENT – Hi Karla. Please advise why the Ascend Maps Widget is not working on any sites where it is used. for example instadock.ca We have many sites using this theme and widget at the bottom of the home page to display maps and they are all down. Thanks. Bill

    Hello, is there a way to insert dots instead of arrows in virtue carousel?
    I have this shortcode on my page:

    [carousel type=featured-products orderby=date columns=4 items=5 scroll=1 sscol=1 speed=250000]

    Thanks in advance, Gabi

    Hello,

    How can i make a page that displays the headings only from a subcategory?

    Example: A page that displays the headings from “Food” (Hot meals, Deserts, Drinks) without their posts.
    And another page that displays the headings from “Events” (Live events, Cinema, Theater) without their posts.
    And if i add a new subcategory to “Food or Events” those should then show on the above pages.

    I’ve tried with the “Post Grid/Carousel” but can only filter and display the actual posts within a category, not the category headers only.

    Does this make sense?
    I’m trying to not having to make these pages manually and update them when a new category is added/removed.

    FOOD
    Hot meals
    — Hot dog
    — Hamburger
    Deserts
    — Icecream
    — Cake
    Drinks
    — Orange Juice
    — Cocktail
    Events
    Live events
    — Concert 1
    — Concert 2
    Cinema
    — Movie 1
    — Movie 2
    Theater
    — Show 1
    — Show 2

    Thanks 🙂

    Hi Joanne,
    Hope you’re doing well! I beleived your workaround is the correct way as a landing page will hide the header. Does this not work for you?

    Kindly,
    Hannah

    Hi Hannah,

    Hope you’re fine.

    Have you tried reaching out to WooCommerce support?

    Yes, I posted the issue on Github and wordpress.org 🙂

    Are you using any WooCommerce extension plugins?

    Not on the test site.

    The issue appears when adding the WooCommerce’s Block “Product by Category” in a page.

    Since markup for the Product grid blocks is independent of the template files in WooCommerce core, you can’t see it on your own test site if you use the classic product loop on your shop page.

    The product blocks code, by default, doesn’t verify if the product is in stock when the link is displayed (I’ve already made a request to the WooCommerce support for that).

    File ‘woocommerce\packages\woocommerce-blocks\src\BlockTypes\AbstractProductGrid.php’ (Line 472)

    /**
     * Get the "add to cart" button.
     *
     * @param \WC_Product $product Product.
     * @return string Rendered product output.
     */
    protected function get_add_to_cart( $product ) {
    	$attributes = array(
    		'aria-label'       => $product->add_to_cart_description(),
    		'data-quantity'    => '1',
    		'data-product_id'  => $product->get_id(),
    		'data-product_sku' => $product->get_sku(),
    		'rel'              => 'nofollow',
    		'class'            => 'wp-block-button__link add_to_cart_button',
    	);

    	if ( $product->supports( 'ajax_add_to_cart' ) ) {
    		$attributes['class'] .= ' ajax_add_to_cart';
    	}

    	return sprintf(
    		'<a href="%s" %s>%s</a>',
    		esc_url( $product->add_to_cart_url() ),
    		wc_implode_html_attributes( $attributes ),
    		esc_html( $product->add_to_cart_text() )
    	);
    }

    However, the check for out of stock products is made in the WooCommerce core code and everything works fine when a native WooCommerce loop is displayed.

    File ‘woocommerce\includes\wc-template-functions.php’ (Line 1284)

    'class' => implode(
    	' ',
    	array_filter(
    		array(
    			'button',
    			'product_type_' . $product->get_type(),
    			$product->is_purchasable() && $product->is_in_stock() ? 'add_to_cart_button' : '',
    			$product->supports( 'ajax_add_to_cart' ) && $product->is_purchasable() && $product->is_in_stock() ? 'ajax_add_to_cart' : '',
    		)
    	)

    Since the product blocks’ code is overridden by Kadence in ‘component.php/custom_block_html()’, could Ben do the verification ‘$product->is_purchasable() && $product->is_in_stock()’ in this function before adding the classes?

    I hope it is clear enough, english isn’t my native language.

    Thanks,
    Estelle

    Hello,

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    Based on your screenshot, you’re displaying posts from a specific category(Recipe) and showing 9 posts per page. Just to confirm, do you have more than 9 posts under this category? If you only have 9 or fewer posts under this category, the pagination will not show as there will be no posts on the next pages.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Karla

    Many thanks @Hannah!

    That is brilliant! I did not thought about this option.
    It does the job, one thing I still had to fix was some a strange whitespace on top of the background. I set top margin of the row layout to -30px and now background fully covers top of the page.
    Nice, this theme is really powerful!

    Have a good day!

    Hi Engineer,
    Hope you enjoyed your weekend!
    You can use the Product Categories widget. It allows you to enable hierarchy within the widget settings. You would just need to enable a widget area on your shop page such as a sidebar. Would this work for you?

    Kindly,
    Hannah

    #266042

    Hi Joy,
    Try adding this to your custom css box in Theme Options > Advanced Settings:

    @media (min-width: 768px) {
    h1.entry-title {
        margin-bottom: 25px;
    }
    .page-bread-container {
        padding-top: 10px;
    }
    }

    Hope it helps!

    Best,
    Hannah

    #266038

    Hi again Hannah,
    I have tried all the options over the past few days but no luck.
    Just to refresh, my site is https://www.craftingdiy.com/
    After installing SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle I was able to get more than one post to display in a row.
    I have both widgets in the Home widget area. The Site Origin settings are 3 cols and 21 posts under the heading “More Posts” at the top of the page but this does not give me 3 cols. Then lower down on the page is the standard visual editor that is also set for 3 cols and 21 posts and displays 3 col just fine. Site Origin does give random posts. But The “Home Blog Settings” does give the 4 cols that I would like.
    I hope this is not too rambling.
    Is there a different shortcode that I can use with the Site Origin widget?
    I have taken the “Under Construction” off so you can now see what I mean.
    Thanks for your trouble.
    Regards, Janek

    Hello all

    I’m trying to use this plugin to manage most of my sites customizations from one page:

    and having problems adding the links to social icons and the header menu (the shortcode is not recognized).
    Is there any way to fix this?

    #266030

    Hello!

    I added Post Grid/Carousel block on a page, but the pagination doesn’t show up.
    I’m not sure if my setting is wrong or not. Can you check it? (I attach the screenshot of my settings.)

    Thanks.

    #266025

    Hey,
    There’s a built-in function to display related products on your shop page. You can enable it from Theme Options > Product Settings. Would that work for you?

    Kindly,
    Hannah

    Hi,

    I am playing around with plugins looking for a way to clearly show a tick box “In Stock Only”

    I would like the tick box to be ticked by default only showing plants that are in stock and if possible to have it in line with the Shop Title on the Shop Page.

    Currently I have used the themify product filter which displays on the top left above shop and needs to be ticked, not happy with this.

    Any advise or help would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks,
    Ash
