In reply to: Home page jumping down to “Latest Posts”
There are no anchors in there however,
I think it was/is the Soundcloud at the bottom of page ( Home Widget). They have a sound that auto plays and I had my browser setting to block audio.
Once I change that setting (Firefox) it does not jump to that section. It was looking like it was jumping to “Latest Post” but…
AND once I change the browser setting to block audio again it goes back to jumping down the page.In forum: Virtue ThemeI know I have long urls for some pages. I also increased the font for breadcrumbs hoping to satisfy Google complaining about text being too small.
Can you help please?

In forum: Ascend ThemeMay 21, 2021 at 9:39 am #265978Hi Guys,
Would you know how to make appearing the cross-sell/up-sell products on a product page (like the carousel related product) and not only on the cart page?
Thx very much in advance! In forum: Ascend ThemeAbsolutely did. I had both Nicole (the client) and my son (my test subject) clear the browser cache and some phone settings. keeps happening, but only on Androids and only with Chrome. And I believe you have to visit the home page, go to another page, then return to the home page. I don’t have an Android phone myself so I’m working vicariously on this one.
In forum: Virtue ThemeI noticed on this one site:
the user is not taken to the top of the page.
In order I have a Slider – Paragraph of text – Newest Additions – On Sale- Latest Posts – Misc items/Widgets
when the page is opened it jumps down to the Latest Posts.
Any solution to stop this?In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Remove Title Text only on all pages
In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Local Google Fonts GT Metrix
Hi Jordan,
As previously mentioned, “If the Rubik font has multiple font-weights that are in use, then there will be a request for each font-weight.“.
Looking at your home page, there are texts that are in bold so the Rubik font is actually calling the font weights regular and 700(for bold texts). To confirm this, you can try creating a page that will only show normal texts(without bold texts) and check the page in GTMetrix.
Hope this clarifies.

It’s definitely a start (good position when the menu to full-height) but the problem still remains when the menu shrinks. Look at the homapage on:
skywardthought.com
I’ve applied your custom CSS, and now the vertical distance to the menu is good when the menu is full-height. However, if you go ahead and scroll down on that page, you will see the main menu shrink a good bit. Then, check the dropdown vertical distance from the main menu and you will see it is too far down again and becomes difficult to navigate. (This also happens on screen/browser widths small than the “full width potential” of the site, as the main menu / top become smaller in that case as well.)
I basically need a solution that adjusts the vertical positioning of the dropdowns based on the main menu height, so that the dropdowns are always right below the text of the main menu.
Any thoughts?
Appreciatively,

Hey Janek,
Sorry for the delay! The shortode is not actually css. It is actually what outputs your blog posts so it would eliminate the need to enable latest blog posts. You can paste it into a text widget in your home widget area, or in your static homepage. Let me know if you need further assistance with this.Kindly,

May 19, 2021 at 6:17 am #265917Hi Karla,
We already have installed WPS Hide Login on this site (although there is no point in hiding the WP admin url for safety since the admins can log in from the front-end WooCommerce form). When an user entered wrong credentials in the Kadence modal box, he was redirected to our custom login URL. It would still be more user-friendly if he was redirected to the WooCommerce registration/login page instead.
That said, this is no longer an issue for us since we have reset the Account button settings from “Modal Login” to “Link”, but it could be a useful development for WooCommerce based sites IMO 🙂
Have a good day,
EstelleMay 19, 2021 at 4:01 am #265911I use Kadence Woo Extras on my site (the site also uses Kadence theme, blocks, pro, etc). I created brands for my products and assigned a brand to a product. The brand is shown on the product page successfully, but the brand’s archive page (where the brand link on the product’s page links) does not show that product and only shows “No products were found matching your selection.”
There’s no caching etc on my site that should block the changes made.

In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Page subtitle with Kadence theme?
Hello Tom,
Currently, there is no built-in option to add a subtitle for the page title sections of the Kadence theme.
For a workaround, you can recreate the page title section by creating a Hooked Element(Pro feature), adding a subtitle, and set it to display to a specific page. For more information regarding this feature, you can refer to the following articles:
- https://startblogging101.com/how-to-use-kadence-element-hooks/
Hope this helps.

Hello Estelle,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
As you’ve said, we are using the default WordPress login form, which is why if the details are wrong, it gets redirected to the
/wp-login.phppage. If you want to change this, you can follow the steps from this article – https://kinsta.com/blog/wordpress-login-url/#change-login-page.Lastly, if you want to log a feature request for an additional option within the Customizer for this, you can do so by going to this page – https://www.kadencewp.com/roadmap-kadence-theme/feature-requests/. Please note however, that feature requests do not have an ETA of when they’ll be available.

KarlaIn forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Rows in Category Pages /Homepage
Hi Dan,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I use some category pages (is that an Archive page? when I show all posts for Category A on one page?) on my blog… how can I change the number of columns these are shown in (right now its always 3 rows, eben with sidebar)
Yes, category pages are archive pages as well. To change the number of columns, got to Customizer > Blog Posts > Archive Layout and change the value of the Post Archive Columns option – https://share.getcloudapp.com/RBuY8jQG.Also my homepage goes too “all blog posts”, showing 3 columns… can I change that, too?
If you go to Settings > Reading and set your homepage to show your latest posts, then your homepage will automatically show a bog archive page. If you want to change this, select a static page for your home page.Hope this helps.

KarlaIn forum: Kadence ThemeHi,

*Login to see linkHas this information changed and if so where can i find the updated document that refers?
Thanks
MarkIn forum: Kadence ThemeMay 18, 2021 at 8:40 am #265889Hello
Does Kadence offer the ability to add a page subtitle? I don’t see any options for this in theme/page settings.
Thank you -
