dear kadence,

i just updated the pinnacle theme to the 1.2.1 version.
But now my kadence slider isn’t working anymore and pages won’t go the full width.

is this a known problem? and how can i fix it.

I need some help again. Is there any possibility to show on the landing page only the featured images of the blog posts, like the blog grid widget?
Also with showing the title of the blog if you are hover? And how to control the size of the featured images?

Hi guys,

Just a small issue we’ve had for a while now: when people check-out and the payment is successful, this is how the payment confirmation page looks like: *Login to see link (screenshot).

Is this a theme issue, or a plugin one?

You just need to remove all the code around your portfolio shortcodes, you have things like <pre>

Just open the page, click the text tab and make sure the shortcode is the only thing there.

Could you take a look at my home page, and tell me where the setting is to fix the little white blobs above the portfolio grid ? I am fairly sure it was a color setting but I couldn’t find it, I believe it is associated with the text that might have appeared in those places … can you help me out on where to look for that so I can make it “transparent” so as not to show? thanks so much …

The Revolution slider works fine but I decided to create a Kadence Slider and I can’t add more than a single slide to it. Save it, go back, click on the add another slide and… nada…

Is there a setting that I’m missing (e.g. number of slides allowed in Kadence slider?)

Here’s a pic of the button that I’m clicking (and element that seems to not be doing it’s thing)

Virtue Imagine Menu Item (VIMI) widget — I’m in page builder using a stacked set of 4 of these VIMI and the top/bottom padding remains even after I’ve removed padding around the entire widget (in the VIMI “layout”). I am able to get all other widgets to lose their top/bottom padding just not the VIMI so I was thinking it’s an adjustable padding where I can’t get at it but specific to VIMI not the ?site origins? page builder widgets. Can’t seem to find the ability to adjust that where it makes a difference. Ideas?

You would need to use a child theme. You can add in pages by using the feature page template but if you want it on all of your site then you need a child theme and you can just hook into the get_header function.

1. that is the example there on how to use. do you have a specific question?

2. Are you using the latest version of pagebuilder? You can edit padding in the widget?
You can use the shortcode above which will automatically center align your content or you can add some html and css to do it. It’s tricky since you have to create a table like function.

Most browser allow content that is spilling out of a container to not effect other content on the page. Firefox however does’t. So those icons pushing down into the the header area where breaking up floating divs that were in the header area and that was pushing the logo div off and to the left.

Hi,

The site is running on windows IIS.
I did not edit any permalink, just use it out-of-the-box (I’m not hardcore web developer).
Also have no rewrite rules active.

The weird thing is, I build 2 sites for completely different domains, but both sites run at same hosting company on IIS.
Both sites use virtue theme (one premium (not working) and one free version (is working) ).
For the one with the free version permalinks work fine.

As a test I created one porfolio item named test on both sites.
For both site I have permalink setting: Postname (http://www.domain.com/index.php/sample-post/)

If I go into edit mode of the portfolio item:
On the working site I see on top of the screen: Permalink: http://www.domain1.com/index.php/portfolio/test/
On the non working site I see this: Permalink: http://www.domain2.com/index.php//portfolio/test/
One / too many in the URL.

It is very weird and only happens with portfolio items, pages and blog posts behave normal.

Thanks for your reply Ben. None of the settings in basic styling seem to effect the colours of the shop page. I would like to change the colour of the sorting box, since it’s kind of invisible now.

hey, Yes you can copy and page right in the the page content. You won’t be able to edit anything but you shouldn’t have any problem copying and pasting. If you want a Russian keyboard for some reason I believe there are lots of on screen apps.

Wordpress handles the language find.

When you on the slider setting page. Can you right click and click inspect in the popup box. Look in the inspect popup for a red error marking a javascript error. Can you copy the error and post here?

As you can tell, the current colours do not really match well with the theme. I wanted to modify the woocommerce colours that apparently have their own settings. However, I can not change the colours in woocommerce > settings > styles and scripts anymore. According to this article this option is no longer supported: *Login to see link

Is there another way to change the colours of the shop page? Is it also possible to change the content of the dropdown box on the right of the page?
