In reply to: display products without price
Hi Ben,
thanks for your advice and patience.
2.) the image flip works. thank you.
3.) could manage the portfolio / category pages. thanks again.
4.) is there a css input field in the backend or do i have to write this code into a php file?
5.) Yes, I posted the links using the “link” tag in the answer form above.
Please let me know the way to hide the price, so i can process it also on other pages.
Thank you very much!
Greetings from Austria.

January 10, 2015 at 2:55 pm #27209It could be that you have an open anchor somewhere above on the top widget or in your page content. If you have a
<a>tag without a closing</a>then it would do that.Ben

1. this should be on by default. Post a link to where you mean.
2. In the portfolio page settings you can turn the Lightbox off.
3. Title of what image? Where?

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn forum: Virtue ThemeHi folks,
I think this might be solved by some shortcode on the woo/ Prosociate “shop” page, but please advice.
I now display the woo categories@ Kettle Store.
In Home Layout settings I use the option to insert “on sale products” on landing/homepage (now set to blog).
What is the best way to insert that same “on sale products” carousel? in the woo/shop landing/categories page, or in a product page
Peter.

January 10, 2015 at 11:05 am #27179ok, well you need to create the new page for o nas, then add a new menu to the secondary menu. Use custom links with with a #anchor tag.
Each place you want a menu to go you have to add the anchor in the page:
<a name="example"></a>Then your link would be #example
Post a link once you have that set up and I can give you the css and javascript to add the smooth scroll and hide the menu on other pages.

January 10, 2015 at 10:59 am #271761. You can hide the price with css, post a link to your site.
2. In the product make sure you have a featured image and at least one image in your product gallery. Then turn the image flip on in your theme options > shop settings.
3. You can add portfolio items to your main page in the theme options > home layout. You can’t use a page template to do it.
4. If you want to hide page names you can use this css:
.page-header {display:none;}5. How are you posting link? Are you adding through the link tag above? Or just placing the link in the box.

January 10, 2015 at 10:39 am #27168ok, I don’t see your links being like you said above. When I go to the portfolio grid page your link is: http://ebdesigns.us/portfolio/vocational-school-website/
Where are you seeing these bad links?

January 10, 2015 at 10:30 am #27164Hey,
1. what is the error?2. You have to use the correct language code for the mo and po files. It has to be the same code you are setting for the wordpress language. For example yours might be: da_DK
3. If you made your home page the shop page then you have to set up your slider in the theme options > shop settings. Scroll down to the shop slider.

January 10, 2015 at 10:19 am #271611. In the home page, pagebuilder, your first row, edit the row style and click on attributes. remove any class in the attributes.
2. Your slider. What have you selected for your link position?

here are a few links to explain my problems…
regarding problem with display of portfolio type menu (when using a portfolio grid):
regarding a glimpse how the main page should look like:
i managed the main page now with an icon menu (in the german version there are two in the backend… i used the one on the bottom of the main page settings).and another question, please: i want to hide the page names. do you have any advice on this?
thanks! wolfgang
In forum: Virtue Themehi,
I bought the virtue theme just a couple of days ago and try to set up a very light and easy page now.
i use woo commerce to manage my products and orders.now i want to display a certain product category on the main page and make links to other categories in a secondary menu below the logo.
but i want to display just the covers (we sell records) without andy price and VAT information. With a click we want to get to the product details to place orders.so please answer the questions:
is there a possibility to hide price and other information when all products in a category are shown? (on the main page and other pages which can be reached by a link in a secondary menu). which kind of secondary menu am i supposed to use? i just want to display text, no pics.
how can i upload a second image which appears (with a turn of the pics as shown on your demo) and set it right?
i tried a few ways which all didn’t work out well. i had much problems with making a portfolio grid page on the main page and when it worked on another page (not the main page) the portfolio types menu wasn’t displayed right.
beside that i have to say that i have no css skills :-(.
thanks! wolfgang
In forum: Virtue ThemeI don’t want to make the footer sticky but I want it to stay at the bottom of the page when there’s no content, for example on the homepage here: *Login to see link
Right now I’m using a text element widget with padding to move it down, but there must be a better way.
Thanks!

January 9, 2015 at 5:43 pm #27122Hey,
What your describing, having a menu that only shows on one page and is above your existing menu isn’t possible. The smoooth scroll part isn’t a problem I can give you js for that but the menu placement is.
You can add a secondary menu that goes below your current menu and that could be set up to only appear on one page. It’s tricky but could be done. Would that work?

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Menu + smooth scrolling
Hello.
I am trying to create an additional menu on my page *Login to see link
Instead of a second-level menu in the area βo nasβ I would like to add there a subpage and all put all the items together on that single page. Then I would like to create a horizontal menu with all items above the main menu and to make it fixed on that page. Then I would like to add smooth scrolling to it like on this page e.g. *Login to see link
I found some topics on forum about smooth scrolling. They concern mainly the scrolling on the homepage with revolution slider. I have found Easy Smooth Scroll Links plugin – it allows to insert anchors and link them but it blocs the main page. So it does not work.In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: A couple of issues
its ok i think i have fixed it. π few…. scary moments. Do you know of someone that can help me with JQuery strings or some small codes to help load my page faster? I dont mind paying, i just dont know anyone, i wondered if you may be able to recommend someone.
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: A couple of issues
Thanks Ben, I will see what i can do on those.
I have a bit of a problem, and i feel it may be my fault via a plugin i installed so i appreciate if you need me to pay extra to fix this. π
my shop page (properties) now doesnt load anything and my home page top bit is all wrong and not the same as the settings – ie the top bar should be purple and its orange… π

It looks like this was the result of either:a mistyped address
