January 9, 2015 at 11:52 am #27076Hey,
why is it important that it’s beside the body tag?
You can use a hook and a function in a child theme, just hook your code into the page using the action ‘get_header’And on what page does this have to be placed on?

Hi,
I have put in a banner now for your view. http://electricalkettles.com/ It has with of 1280px I think.
Maybe on other themes I just filled out the background color to to fit..
Does “Background image for header” link to homepage as the title does? Recommended with?
PeterIn forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Placing code inside tag
Hi,
I need to place a code for google call forwarding immediately inside the opening <body> tag of a specific page. I know that I can’t do it through header.php. I’ve tried using the header/footer plugin but it does not allow me to place it in that exact location (just in the header, but not specifically beside the opening body tag). Do you have any other suggestions of how I might be able to do this?In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: image page full with (without marges)
January 9, 2015 at 11:27 am #27066I thought you wanted to add the image in the header like with the featured page template. That would be the way to do it.
If your wanting to do this with page-builder then you would have to approach this differently. And it would be much more labor intensive beause the boxed layout it’s like the wide layout at all. You can’t make the row wide and have it go the edge of the box. That isn’t how it’s designed.
What you would have to do is remove all the padding from the main class.
Like:
.main.col-md-12 { padding-left:0; padding-right:0; }Then in every row in pagebuilder that you didn’t want fullwidth you would have to add in padding on the sides.

1. I think I may have a approach that solves this issue. I changed the menu font color to match my background and turned the “Hover and Active Font Color” to a grey…
this made the menu tabs disappear leave only the icons behind…. this is cool because when you rollover a menu tab the menu type becomes active… buuuuuttttt… its a little wonky because the page your on causes the active portion to light up. My next question is how do you turn off the “active” aspect of the “hover and Active Font color” option in the menu settings?2. :/ was afraid of that.. So many posts.. Ok thanks I’ll take this advice.
Thanks for all the advice so far Hannah!! can you point me to any tuts on editing child themes?

I actually went into the WordPress DB (postmeta table) and changed the string http://www.oregonequestriantrails.dreamhosters.com to http://www.oregonequestriantrails.org.
This made the Icons in the Admin screens and on the web site display correctly related to the Virtue Theme, this also fixed the menu links to the portfolio, staff, and testimonials main page.
I had also add a custom Icon Fonts with the plug-in “WP SVG Icons” that were not working. for this I just removed the custom Icon Font and re-installed it through the plugin.
The core WordPress menu links all changes correctly after change the WordPress and Site URL address but the menu link to the main portfolio page was still pointing to the old path till I changed it in the postmeta table.
The Virtue Theme does not like it when the Site is changed I guess… Maybe a future enhancement….

When I visit this page I am seeing a full width image above the contact form- http://www.jumptoplay.com/contacto/

So, How I can Fix it ? I put in page builder a virtue image, but is not full width. I made a new page with full widht template, and I created 1 row with virtue image, and my image in my page, it has a marge. I don’t know how I can fit it.
I updated my page builder, perhaps is for this reason ?

1. There isn’t a built-in option for this. You can have a topbar icon menu and an icon menu in your content area, but I don’t know a way to have just an icon menu in the menu navigation without editing a child theme.
2. Yes. So you would create a portfolio type then add 30 portfolio posts and link each one to the portfolio type. Then you can create a new page and set the page template to Portfolio Category Grid and choose the desired portfolio type. Then select No beside Crop images to equal height. This will give you the masonry effect.
Hope that makes sense!Hannah
In forum: Virtue ThemeJanuary 9, 2015 at 7:41 am #27018The Widgets page is only loading partially (up to Google Analytics stats button). If I click on ‘Manage in Customizer’ (right next to the Widgets title), then I get an error message related to Google Analytics.
Any suggestion on how to tackle this issue? In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Two basic questions about plugins
The shortcodes provide all the options that the virtue/pinnacle toolkit provided and more. Is there a particular tool that you’re missing?
You can add a gallery to almost any page. On the edit page click “add media” and then “create gallery” and upload images.Hannah
