Hi Hannah,
the toggle button for the toolbar I know. Exactly this bar I mean which appears. By using the pinnacle/virtue toolkit I had wonderful colored buttons there, like a video button. Now I only have a folder on the top called virtue shortcodes and the features in the toolbar are gone.
That was my question to get it back for easier and faster editing and I thought I can drag and drop some of the virtue shortcodes folder to the toolbar.

Oh, misc settings? I found and two settings are enabled, but I can’t find a template for this when I make a new page. Nothing called gallery anywhere. This is it what I mean. Could it be that I must download a plugin first, like I have done it for WooCommerce in your tutorial.

I try with revolution slider, then I try with a create row and set de layout to full width and It doesn’t work. If I try this in my home page, this work, but in other pages not. What’s the problem ?

I just changed the path to my web server from a Mirrored domain to the normal domain.

Icons work when using mirrored domain path http://www.oregonequestriantrails.dreamhosters.com

After moving to http://www.oregonequestriantrails.org the Virtue icons are missing on the all pages. In the Admin screens the Icons next to the menu items Virtue added Portfolio, testimonial and staff are also missing icons.

Hi Ben, sorry to reopen the topic, however three remote calls for Google Fonts are being persistently stubborn.

As such, the external calls are adding an additional 1.586 seconds to the page load for a total page load of 3.14 Seconds. It seems the unenqueue script in the Child functions.php is failing to prevent the initial call to the external files??

As such, is it possible to trick perhaps the theme whereby the fonts selected are all standard “Arial” in the options, but to alter the @font-face reference a locally stored copy of Oswald?

Thanks for your replies Hannah and Ben!

I’m still having trouble.

I can’t find the post summery option in my post edit page you mentioned Hannah. I have featured images set for al my posts though.

In theme options > blog settings, i found the option to set the Blog Post Summery Default. I changes this to Landscape Image which does what I want in terms of showing the featured image and a post excerpt – but it’s full page width. Is there a way to change this to thumbnail size? Like the size of the featured images on my home page blog roll?

Ideally i would like a list of blog posts, left aligned or the option for columns, with a small featured image and the post excerpt beside or under it.

Sorry to be fussy. I figure there must be a way to do this i’m not finding since it appears just how i’d like on my home page.

Hello again Ben!

I am now happy with how the sticky header (with your help on the logo) on my homepage. 🙂 Now, I added a new page http://milkcow.exquisiteslounge.com/?page_id=748 and the row of logo and navigation menu on this page moves up and down within the header when I scroll. Please help me fix this. Thank you!

Hello.
I have the latest version of pagebuilder too, i checked. But in the virtue:Call to action widget->edit or in the row->edit I cannot find where to set the “parallax” style, I remember it was in a drop down box before but now it is not there.

I see now a Background Image Display option Edit row->design, but no parallax option.

Hey,
Cyclone slider is changing how they want updates to work. To update to 2.9.5 you will need to manually update once the next version of the theme comes out.

Manually updating really just means that you delete the plugin and then install again through the theme recommended plugins page.

Fonts, looking at your site I can see that the issue is with a style sheet that you are loading on your site: http://maxhighstein.com/wp-content/uploads/useanyfont/uaf.css?ver=4.1

It is adding this css:

h1, h2 {
font-family: 'open sans' !important;
}

Which is overriding the theme options.

You can make a blog page using the blog page template and in that page settings you can choose to show only one category. You can make as many blog pages as you want.

Hmm, because the content is place beside the image you can’t really use a shortcode to stretch the fullwidth of the page without customizing.

I think I’ll just add in the options you want for the bottom carousel. I’ll place in the next update.

If your using the latest version of the theme you have to use the latest version of pagebuilder.. which did change the set up. Now there are more options and you need to set the row layout and the background style.

Hey Peter,
At the end of your editor list you should see a toolbar toggle button. Clicking that should open a wider selection of tools. Are you adding the shortcodes from the Virtue Shortcodes button on the edit page? What exactly is the issue with them?
To add masonry you just need enable the masonry feature found in theme options > misc settings under WordPress Galleries. Then you would just add a gallery to a page like normal.

Now when I go to make changes on a page and click UPDATE, I am getting a blank white screen instead of the Edit page with my saved changes. The changes never take, and it has no effect on my site. I thought maybe deactivating plugins and reinstalling the the theme again would help, but nothing has changed. Anyone else having this issue?

1. Thanks, I will check the plugins first and let you know what happens.

2. I mean on the navigation menu. On a previous version of Virtue, I could choose icons from the menu page – where the title attribute goes. I don’t see that option anymore, yet the icons are still there from before. I like them. I want them, but I wondered where the options went to in case I want to update them to a new icon image.
