hello, i know that you are not responsible for other companies plugins, but i was wondering if i just did this one incorrectly.

i am working on this page

and i am using a countdown plugin

for some reason, it works on all pages except the home page. you can see it on the about page, and i have inserted it in the page editor by way of the following shortcode

what i am realizing is that none of the shortcodes (for this plugin and every other plugin ive tried) work once i have used the page builder on the site. is there another approach i can take to adding it to the page?

What do you want to change the height to?

You don’t really have any space between the logo and menu? You can make the padding around the menu smaller i suppose? That what you want?

You can remove the spacing between the menu and the page content with this css:

.contentclass {
padding-top: 0;
}

You just use the wordpress “custom menu” widget. Place that in your footer widget area and select which menu you want to use from your menus page.

Well you have a couple errors on your site, I would start there, The plugin that seems to be causing issues is a mailchimp plugin? Hard to see from the code what the title is but it’s really effecting your font page.

As for the backend if you can’t save any more submenus then it’s either a javascript error in your admin or that your servers php settings are limiting your input vars.

I would start deactivating plugins. You can always reactivate and you won’t lose things by deactivating.

You can also go to the menus page, right click using chrome browser and click “inspect” in the popup window. Then look for a red warning in the tools indicated an error.

The last few days I have been having trouble aligning sub menu items under top menu items. I go Appearance> Menus> select any menu (they all have this issue)> add a page, product, link, etc> drag and position under a menu item as a sub menu > save.

Once I save, the sub menu re-aligns as a Top menu item and not a sub. I have been trying for hours. Please help.

Since your front page is technically the shop page you’ll have to add the slider through theme options > shop settings under Shop Slider/Content.

Yeah sure did. That page you are looking at is pretty old and everything was working fine. The only way I found out about it is I had to update an old order page for a customer and when I tested it, it showed up.

1. Yes there are a few places the theme can keep photon off but still much better that you disabled.

2. It’s possible, mostly likely not easy though. You would have to create a child theme and edit the file. I don’t understand where you want to move it so I’m not sure I can totally answer this question but most likely you can just set your portfolio options to none. so the featured image isn’t used then add your custom layout with pagebuilder.

Drats, initially used a square image as the featured image in a post based on iTunes Album art spec as of 2014, i.e. 1400px by 1400px.

(See posts prior to December 20 on this landing page.)

However, having finally figured out how to get the BIG preview pictures [read: Landscape Images] on Facebook when sharing a link, I opted to create designs with a beautiful cover image for sharing while simultaneously utilizing a layout that also allows for a properly formatted thumbnail portion, thus affording the image to have a dual purpose if that makes sense.

If the Excerpt images cannot use the custom cropped thumbnail in the WordPress media library is there another option that could be added or perhaps a plugin you are aware of that would enable specific images for the excerpt similar to how featured images are selected as I really am in love with the new landscape Facebook link images, they have that magazine cover quality you know. 🙂

I just noticed that when I add a product variation the drop down on the product page does not function. I’ve tried it in two different browsers. Maybe you can give me some insight as to what is going on.

Hey, there isn’t demo content for site style 2, but you can add a pre-built layout in page builder. In your home edit page select the page builder editor and then click Prebuilt. Then select Clone:Pages and the choose the Coffee layout.

Hi Hannah,
hi Ben,
thanks for your responses. I speak basicly about all images. You designed a beautiful theme and I think you had some “standard” images to make it most beautiful.

My problem is this page: http://www.kargl.co.at/aktuelles/ here it would be nice, when I could have an option to make the images same size. On a mobile it´s looking good, but on a pc it´s not so nice.

Thanks for your reply, although negative 🙁
I’m and many other authors are modifying bunches of pages/posts/portfolio items right now, so I think it ain’t worth asking my host to reset a previous version of the website: I’d get lost. I’ll rewrite it up!

I think it might be a nice feature to add in a future update!
