I’m using the Kadence theme and I have the posts page as the front page of the website. I’d like to hide the title when on the front page, but show it when on the other archive pages.

* Front Page: Shows a list of latest posts. The Title section has the name of the site, this is what I want to hide.
* Category Archive page: When I click on a category, I navigate to the archives page for that category. I **do** want to display this title.

The only title setting I’ve found is in the customization screen
> Customize > Blog Posts > Archive Layout > “Show Archive Title?” Turning this off hides it from the entire site, but I only want to hide it on the front page.

Bonus: When I’m in a subcategory I’d like to see the parent category in the title. This already happens in the content region for the posts. For example, if I have a Library category with a VR subcategory, I want to display “Library | VR”. When I click on the VR category to go to the VR category archive, it only shows the VR value in the title, when I would prefer it show “Library | VR”

Hi Mary,
It looks like you do not have enough content on your page to push the footer down. Check out this post: https://www.kadencewp.com/knowledge-base/footer-always-at-bottom/

Howdy Daniel,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the height of the default header image. However, I’d recommend you to add this custom CSS snippet, go to “Theme Options” > “Custom CSS” — wherein you can change the height to your liking.

  display: flex;
  height: 250px;
  align-items: center;
}

Hello!

I’m using multiple Posts blocks on my homepage (one for each category), and I need to utilize the Show Unique option as a result. However, it will not stay selected on any of the blocks and I have tried re-checking and saving multiple times.

Any thoughts?

Hi,

Awesome plugin! I got the pro version and I would like to know if there’s a way to disable keyboard controls (left and right arrow keys) when displaying multiple video popups in a single page.

Ive been able to hide arrows using CSS:

.slbArrows { display: none !important; }

but I cant find a wat to disable keyboard controls.

I am trying to figure out how to ensure the pages display full height as there is a background image that looks odd otherwise.

I can achieve this, no problem but the trouble I have encountered is that the footer remains in the same placement on the screen. I am sure it’s something simple, but I can’t figure it out. Please help!

Hi,
I want to stop the related products carousel on products page rotating. It only should display 4 products, no more. Is there any posibility by configuration or have I to edit css or php?

Hi Hanna
I just tested the site on the mobile phone and when I tested add to basket the page does not fully reduce for the screen
Google previously highlighted this as a problem however I never found it until just now when tested I added to basket
Has this something to do with the conflicts of code the sight is silkgifts.ie
I would appreciate your advice

But I dont believe the LMS plugins Profile page – which is called “Lp-Profile” is their own creation per se. I believe (not sure) it is basically WordPress own standard profile page. And something that looks so outdated that I start to cry.

I don’t use Kadence Theme Pro, I use the free Kadence theme/starter template Course is the one I use. My online course site is here (with your theme, which is uber-great) http://www.canvas.nu/onlinekurser (don’t be afraid, it’s in Swedish. though not Sesame Street´s Swedish Chef Swedish)

I attach print screen of the profile page, clients who buy an online course land on after loggin in. Also, I do not sell memberships. I only sell individual courses. And I use Thimpress add-on “Learnpress add on for Woocommerce”. Unfortunatly with WooCommerce, the My Account page by WooCommerce dosnt show the courses the same easy way lke LP-Profile page.

So, all in all, if I could had added additional sections to WooCommerce My Account page, I might had been able to use that for a profile page. WooCommerce sell a plugin for 49$. But I haven’t decided that yet. And I am not sure their plugin would work anyway. I already bought plugins to try that didnt solve this issue. Sigh…)
