But the Templates Overides above list Virtue 1.4….
Any ideas?
I may be asking the impossible but I may as feel check 🙂
I have created a portfolio page, and populated it with a link to each of my photo galleries. In each gallery, I have a clickable image that leads to image information and purchase options, but it is not immediately obvious that each image is a link. Is there any way that I could create a hover-over that could perhaps reduce the image opacity and overlay text saying ‘view details’? As I want every image in every gallery to behave in the same way, I’m thinking that maybe one instruction inserted somewhere could achieve this, or am I way off base thinking that there could be an easy solution?

I could just insert text at the top of the page, but I’m hoping for a prettier solution before I go down that road.

Hi Ben,
Here’s a good one for you from a guy who is stuck between developers (me):
My checkout is down at the busiest time of year and I think this is because I updated WooCOmmerce but not Virtue Premium and now I get the message telling me that my “theme has bundled outdated copies of WooCommerce template files”. (Full copy of the error message copied to the end of this email) You can see form the Templates info that there are lots of parts of the Virtue 1.4 that are out of date for teh current version of Woo Commerce.
It seems that I need to update to the latest version of Virtue Premium, but I think I would lose a lot of the numerous customisations which cost me money for developers (which I have now fired) to do.
Here are my questions I’m hoping you can help me out with:
It seems my developer didn’t make the changes with a child’s theme. Is there anyway of updating without losing all the customisations? Perhaps by retroactively setting up a child’s theme or exporting the current mods before updating and then importing the mods again?
If I make the update using the export options method as listed on this support page, which of the following mods would be kept?
– Significant mods to the CSS for a very different page master
– Extra fields added to the portfolio post page backend.
– A magnifying function for the product photos.Thanks for your help!

Hello, I am having an issue with my Site Layout Style. “Main Settings” I have the site set to box’d I believe, where it will allow me to add a background. I Saved.
Next I went to “Home Layout”, and I have it set to “Display a Sidebar on the Homepage”. I Saved.
I Refreshed my website, and the Sidebar IS there. No problem.
HOWEVER, when I close all my windows, and open my website up again, the Sidebar is NOT there. I tried from Multiple computers, and NO SIDEBAR. All the settings are still the same, under “Main Settings” and “Home Layout”.
Why is it not appearing? Any help to resolve this would be great.

Just couple things I would like to change:
1. Move the calculate shipping on the cart page from right to the left like in your pinnacle theme.
2. Modify the check out page more? I would like to move some things around like the coupon code entry.

Hi again,
i noticed only now:
only on the revolution slider at bottom i have a small white vertical stripe left and right.
Don’t think it is skroll-bar related because it is smaller.Curious:
– Firefox – when i resize the window it disappears, comes again if i refresh the page
– IE – doesn’t show the stripe but the background of the scroll-bar shows again sometimes when i scroll up and down the page
– Chrome – identical to Firefoxit seems all related to the Revolution slider, ‘cose the problems appear only on the slides. Tryed out all settings on the revolution positioning, full screen etc. How large should the images in the slide be ?

Is there an easy fix for this, e.g., throw the carousel into a height-defined div or something? I realize that ideally all the images would be proportioned similarly, but this carousel is drawing from post content, which makes that impractical.

The cyclone slider seems to have temporary server update issues. I’ve noticed it before where the plugin doesn’t always show that there is an update. Check your updates page a couple times. Else I’ll try and get 2.8.4 in a later update.
Not sure there is anything in those updates you could be looking for though. They were quite small and didn’t represent any changes in the features of the slider.

I’m not aware of a good free plugin like that. I’ve seen some premium ones but haven’t tried them.
You could try going through another plugin to make it work, some plugins that don’t work in pagebuilder will work in the widgets page. If that is the case you can use this plugin to add a widget area to your page and then try the counter: https://wordpress.org/plugins/widgets-on-pages/Ben

I’m using PaidMembershipPro plugin. When adding the shortcode: [pmpro_button level=”1″] to a page, the style of the button is not the Virtue Premium style that I choose in Basic Styling under Primary Highlight Color. Can someone explain to me why that is? Also is there a way to easily fix this ?.

Currently, it seems to use a shade similar to the mobile drop down menu background color. In my case, I am using light blue, and the text in the box is a light gray and is difficult to read.

Oddly enough, I found I was able to get rid of the mountain background for the page title by settings the Page Header Default Background to the color of my choice, even though Show the page title by default is turned off. Was that the intended mechanism you had put in place to achieve the desired effect?
