Topic: Revolution slider
Hi,
Can you tell me how to insert a new font in the Revolution slider (there are only 13 standard fonts available at the moment)? I know I need to get the code from Google fonts – and I’ve tried pasting in the theme options/advanced settings/Custom CSS but this hasn’t worked. Also, can you tell me how to change the size of the buttons, font size and font style in the revolution slider.
Also, on my homepage I have a drop down menu – can you tell me how to increase the font size in the drop down?
If you can provide details on exactly how to do this it would be appreciated.

Removing the custom CSS worked like a champ! I added the custom CSS awhile back due to a BuddyPress scrolling issue. The scroll bar would not work on BuddyPress pages such as activity, members, etc. The fix worked at the time, but apparently it broke other scroll bar functionality in the process. I am guessing a few BuddyPress updates later have resolved the original issue.Thank you Hannah and Ben for responding so quickly, you are both awesome!
All my best,
Anthony

December 9, 2014 at 1:05 pm #24782oh, I see your issue, your server has a outdated mod security.. this issue here: http://docs.woothemes.com/document/jquery-cookie-fails-to-load/
You and click the download at the bottom of that page, install the plugin on your site and it will fix the issue.
I would also recommend contacting your server and asking them to update.

Hi Ben,
I don’t have a backup. But I don’t mind to start over since I am at the beginning. The problem is that everything I try to set up in theme option doesn’t show up on the home page. Why is that?
I try to set up a flexslider and it doesn’t work 🙁
I followed the step by step method you have provided on the website to set up an icon menu and doesn’t shop up either.

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeTopic: Header Picture problems
Hello,
I’d like to have a fix picture in the header (both home page and sitewide) as it is now, at *Login to see link
Actually, the problem is that the present picture is the result of a cropped picture the theme does.
I want to know which size must be the picture to not be cropped or distorted by the theme. I set the header height to 80px.
So far I tried different sizes also using the pictures size from your site but nevertheless it results always distorted.
Thanks for supporting

Thanks, that one seems to solve my problems!
I have one issue though; After installing and activating, I have run a couple of tests, and it will not display the brand on the category listing pages, only in the Product page.
I have also tried most of the options in the plugin for placement, but no Luck.
I read the documentation for the plugin but it seems like it might be an issue with the theme? In forum: Virtue ThemeI am attempting to narrow down possible issues relating to the excess amount of scroll bars generated within user comments. I am using BuddyPress version 2.1.1. with the latest version of WordPress (4.0.1-en). As you can see in the screenshot example posted below, one user reply to the original comment generated five scroll bars. This may be a BuddyPress issue, but comments in their support forums say it is most likely CSS related. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi!
I do not know if this is the correct forum to post this, so forgive me if it is wrong.
I would like to show an attribute to the product listing pages over the Product names.
I have added an attribute to my Products With the brand name, and would like for it to show on the listing, so that I dont have to include the brandname in the Product name.Something like this:
*Login to see linkI think adding the brand in the Product name (heading) clutters up the Product listing as they are default sorted alphabetically. As I also have hundreds of Products this problem will only become bigger.
Is there an easy way to solve this?In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Minor issue after Premium upgrade
December 8, 2014 at 11:49 pm #24708Hey,
This is because of the breadcrumbs, I would add this css which will remove the breadcrumb from the shop page and make the filter full width. You can fix with this css:
.post-type-archive-product .page-header .col-md-6 { width: 100%; } .post-type-archive-product .page-header .col-md-6 > div#kadbreadcrumbs { display: none; }I assume the bonus question has to do with a function in the filter plugin, It wouldn’t be something you could change with css or js. Would need to know the function and see if the author added a way to turn it off.

December 8, 2014 at 11:33 pm #24706Hey,
you can transfer all your setting from free to premium.. see here: http://docs.kadencethemes.com/virtue/#freetopremiumThat should make it so your settings switch over. The theme home page settings are in the theme options > home layout.
If something still isn’t working can you post a link?

Hi,
I started up with the free virtue theme and I have upgraded to the premium version. The problem is that I have lost everything I have done before. Now, nothing works and nothing appears on the home page. My flexslider doesn’t show up as well as the icon menu. I find that the free version was more user friendly. I thought everything would be easier with the premium version but it’s not. 🙁 Do you have any idea?
Thank you!
Nathalie
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeTopic: Fonts and Paragraph Styles
I don’t know how to write HTML, but I can hack a CSS for a font size, style, and spacing for paragraphs if I need to. How do I get my blog posts, and general page content to show a different font, and to have larger spaces between lines and paragraphs? I want my site to have Century Gothic font, but I only have one choice for a font EVERYWHERE in the Premium Pinnacle Theme. Thanks for the help!
In forum: Virtue ThemeAfter the great free support, I decided to upgrade to the Premium version! Unfortunately the upgrade introduced one annoying issue.
Here’s my W.I.P site: *Login to see link
The WooCommerce Product Filter plugin used to span across the entire width of the Shop page in the free theme. Now it’s being squeezed half way across the page. Is there a way to get it to span across again?
**BONUS** issue: If you tell me how to stop the Product Filter from changing the page title when using Attribute fitlers, that would be fantastic. I already brought it up with the plugin developer since it may be an issue with the plugin but I thought I’d try here anyways.
Thanks for your help!
