Hi David, so does this mean you don’t want a header and logo? That would need to be removed with custom css which I’m happy to provide if this is the case.
If you just want a simple basic slider the flex slider is probably best. You can set that up in theme options > slider settings. Then in theme options > home layout make sure page content is the only thing enabled. Then go to pages > home and in the page builder editor you can customize image menu items and you can also add one more image menu item widget to the row so that you’ll have four.
Looks like you already have a contact page setup?

I would just like a really basic business website, with 4 menu options in the top bar, an image slider in the middle, image representations of the 4 top bar menu options at the bottom, and a contact form on the contact page.

As for your question, The single product pages has a post id class you can use but if your trying to target all the single products then try this css:

I’d really like to use the browser cache for html files because this speeds up the website significantly. I would like to use w3 total cache for this.
What stops me is a problem with the amount number in the cart widget (.kad-cart-total .cart-contents .amount). This problem is also notable on the virtue premium demo shop
1. User visits page: Retrieved shopping cart widget is preloaded with a false amount that comes from a another user’s cached html file.
2. … Other things happen until document is ready …
3. WooCommerce starts an ajax request get get right amount number
4. After ajax is loaded the amount widget gets updated.Between 1. and 4. there is about 1 sec, sometimes more. Due to the flipping of the “wrong” text amount to the right number, it is visually also notable to users that the cart widget changed. That is, it gets noticed.
I would like to do the following to solve this (I am open to other suggestions):
At first:
0. By default, have the cart amount set to visibility: hidden.
4. At step 4, set the cart amount to the visibility: visibleMy question is:
1. Are there any caveats I might overlook? E.g. are there situations when step 4 is not executed?

I solved this exact problem by inserting a gallery of images in the text field. They all are clickable to the larger zoom which are connected with arrows to scroll through the row. To prevent confusion, turned off the feature image click since it wasn’t connected to the gallery images.

I am working on the folowoing page: ( *Login to see link ). What I am wanting to do may seem stupid, but I can’t avoid it. What I would like to do is remove the price that says $399.00, that is no problem I can use the display none with css. But I would like to put in the following phrase in its place ( Call for price, and availability ). Is there anyway possible to do this. I will be doing this with all firearms listed on the site.

Hey Kat, if your wanting to add an image in the header of a page… different from a post. Then you need to use a feature page template. see here: http://docs.kadencethemes.com/virtue/#featurepage
For your home page you can add a slider through the theme options > home slider. Just add one image if that is all you want to show.

I am working on *Login to see link and I used the portfolio as an product showcase.
So from an “best practices” standpoint, should I rather rebuild the product pages using normal pages, and not portfolio items?
I just like the way the portfolio grid works, etc. an figured that this will be the quickest.

NIn forum: Virtue ThemeI have used accordions for “expandable” content. There are multiple accordions, most with only 1 pane each.
Since at least one accordion (in this case, the first one; though I don’t think that matters) actually has 2 panes, what is happening is that the 2nd pane is being appended to each other accordion instance. It’s not re-initialized each time it’s called it seems… it receives the information for the first pane and “overwrites” it, but then uses pre-existing entries for other panes.

I don’t really think you can with the feature template. I think you best bet would be to add it through an the embedded video shortcode in pagebuilder.

Hey Pascal, you can either add them as shortcodes or use the Virtue Shortcodes option in the edit pages.

Hey, Yes, pagebuilder is the best way to do this. You can set the page template to fullwidth under Page Attributes. And if you want to change the background color of the row you can select the visual style tab (top right of row) and add a color and set the class to wide.
