Hey Peter, So you can go to settings > reading and set the desired number of “blog pages show at most”. Then in theme options > home layout you can set the number of post columns under “Page Content Options (if home page is latest post page)”.

I cannot seem to get my home page to show an even number of posts on the home page. Here is a link to my site –

As you will see there are 2 rows of 4 posts, and then a row of only 2 posts at the bottom. It looks silly and it is annoying me. I would like it to show something more even like 2 rows of 4, or 3 rows of 4, and then visitors would have to click to page 2.
I have tried tweaking all kinds of things in the Theme Options – home page options, blog options, and even the blog options in the WordPress page editor. Nothing seems to work.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hey, when using page builder you can select “visual style” on the top right of the row and set the class to “wide parallax”.
“How to increase page in any block it?” Not quite sure what you mean? Could you be more specific?

The image menu is added through pagebuilder. 3 columns at 33.3% each With added widgets as describet here: https://www.kadencewp.com/creating-demo-3-layout-homepage/

edit: I would prefer it not to switch to mobile mode on ipad portrait mode. I would like that for iphones and such, but not pads. That should not be neccesary on physically larger screens.

I’m a little confused. What exactly are you trying to do? You can add sub-pages to your menu by selecting items on the left side. You may need to click the screen options tab on the top right of the page to see all your options. Here’s a tutorial: https://www.kadencewp.com/building-displaying-menus/
If you want to add a specific menu to a page you can use the custom menu widget. Not sure what you mean by page template and links?

Hi Hannah,,

It’s actually Maureen, I just tried what you suggested and it worked!! Now what I will need to do is set up links to the sub-pages. Or is there a way to do a sub-menu on the main category pages? What do you think? Or should I just use a different page template to accommodate the links? I looked at some mobile plugins, but not sure if that is the way to go.

Hi Ben,
This is the closest thread to my question. I want to condense the mobile drop down menu on our site. So that when a person clicks on the menu on their mobile device that they don’t have to scroll through so much and can go to the main header page and link to the other sub-pages from there.

Is there a way to do that on virtue premium?

Interesting. I had played with that earlier(that section of that page isn’t labeled), set it to “clear”, saved. No change or image. Then I uploaded the mountain pic, saved, same, no luck. I’m checking it in Chrome, Firefox and IE. My other pages have the photo at the top and the menu is transparent(in IE and Firefox, not Chrome). This issue is just the homepage.

I also tried checking “transparent”, and also unchecking it, no change.

I even reset that section, tried clearing the color, saved, also clicked transparent on and off, and also tried uploading the image. No go.

Theme options > home slider.

You have selected page title as your “Choose a Home Image Slider”

So at the bottom of the page “home slider” in your theme options there is an option to set the background for your home page title. right now you have the color set to white, you can 1, clear those options. 2, upload an image for the background.

Thanks for your response. Yes it looks like it was a problem with the htaccess file as the site is now up and running with all plugins activated. However, there now seems to be an issue with the icons not loading on the home page and in the footer etc. What am I missing?

Yes. Your using the “page content” so the slider settings will still work.

There isn’t an option for recently viewed as a carousel option. You can add the woocommerce widget to your sidebar and it will be populated at the user views products but for the home page visitors would show up without having seen any products.

Not with the latest posts module from the theme options. For you home page you can get pagination if you make the home page your latest post page in the settings > reading and then enable the “page content” module and disable the latest posts module.

When you click “add layer” and paste in the video url and click “search” is it able to find the video? Can you please post a link to your homepage?
