I add the layer with the video on the slide, I keep the settings, I go to the homepage of the website to see if it works. The slide is displayed correctly but the video layer not.
When I return to the Slider Revolution settings, the video layer has disappeared.

October 16, 2014 at 7:37 pm #20060on your home page you have the page header background set to transparent in the theme options > slider settings. That is wrong, just leave that blank. Not transparent.
On your other pages everything is fine.

Yup, “enable transparent header…” is turned on.
Not on my end. Using Google Chrome. No header image/mountain image at all on homepage (just my text “Welcome to JHD”, was white, I changed it to gray tonight so people can see it), mountain header image on other pages, but white background behind menu rather than photo going all the way up.
So am I crazy, when “enable transparent header…” is turned on, the background image should run all the way up?
When I look at my site in Internet Explorer, my homepage has an invisible menu, can’t see it at all, because the copy and background are white, so still no mountain/background photo showing. BUT, other pages do have the transparent header running all the way up!
Do you see the mountain photo on the homepage? Which browser are you using? I always use Chrome, Firefox gives me fits, hoses my computer.

October 16, 2014 at 6:01 pm #20057Hey,
In the theme options > site header do you have “Enable Transparent header until scrolled?” turned on?I just looked at your site and all the pages have a transparent header?

So, I reset the page title settings to default. They already were, so nothing changed. In theme options > basic styling, skin was already default. Saved “changes”, no luck. Then I downloaded the mountain pic and added it in theme options > default background to see if that would do it, it didn’t work.
Another issue, similar one. The mountain pic is on my other pages, but on none of the pages does it go all the way to the top, all have the white overlay on the menu. Thanks for your time, I appreciate it.

October 16, 2014 at 2:45 pm #20049in the theme options > page title. You can remove the page title settings. In the theme options > basic styling you can make sure the skin is default.

October 16, 2014 at 2:26 pm #20044That box has to do with
<pre></pre>which shows code. Just click the text tab on your page and make sure it’s not there.Ben

October 16, 2014 at 2:07 pm #200431. If you want to add the mountain image you can download from here: https://unsplash.imgix.net/38/L2NfDz5SOm7Gbf755qpw_DSCF0490.jpg?q=75&fm=jpg&auto=format&s=4c11b5191b5ced9c3c9ac9b9f4d3d5de
Or remove all your settings in the pagetitle and make sure your skin is set to default.
2. Are you using a caching plugin? like wp super cache?

October 16, 2014 at 2:05 pm #20042ok, I see, it’s the shrink header causing the gap. The header should stop with the white in the page right below the menu.
I’ll update in the next version.

In forum: Virtue ThemeI am currently working on the Shop page, displaying product categories in a grid. On your page *Login to see link you have a blue background box to the information [product_categories number=”12″ parent=”0″ columns=”3″]. For some reason that blue box is displaying on my shop page. Please could you tell me how to get rid of it as it doesn’t appear on any of my other pages.
thank you,
GeraldineFound the problem – In the shop page itself I had Pre enabled in the view screen.

Thanks Ben!
I set up the demo homepage so I could mess around with it and it worked(whew!), but I still don’t have that mountain image back on my homepage. I watched your tutorial video a few times, but couldn’t figure it out. I even changed the image, but it doesn’t show up. *sigh* I’m trying, man, I really am!
I’m curious why, when I make changes, they don’t always appear immediately? Even with a force refresh, or closing a tab (in Google Chrome) and opening a new one? Yesterday it took until this morning for some changes to appear.

October 16, 2014 at 12:11 pm #20029Hey,
The location is the only thing that shows in the grid layout. The title is placed in the single page. Hannahs suggestion is the best way to add a title if you want it in the grid layout. Just add it to the title of the post.Ben

October 16, 2014 at 11:45 am #20016Are you wanting this in the header or in the page?
If in the header you can choose the logo layout that adds a widget area beside the log and you can add any widget there.
If in a page you can add using page builder.Else if you want below the header and you don’t want to use an image you would need to add through the code like with a child theme.
