I add the following and my Icon Box displays as three separate rectangles… Looks like WordPress is adding <p> in between lines. I added this
remove_filter(‘the_content’, ‘wpautop’);
to my functions.php file. No change…. What am I missing here??
[iconbox icon=”icon-home” iconsize=”48px” link=”/” color=”#ffffff” background=”#490c0a” hcolor=”#ffffff”]
<h4>Home Page</h4>

October 13, 2014 at 1:23 pm #197501. In the theme options > slider settings. Select page title then in the title box below add something.

The slider I set up is a hot mess, so I was trying to avoid using that until I figure out how to set it up properly. For the moment I’d just like the mountain photo w/my blog posts beneath, and I have some copy I’d like on the homepage as well, but it’s not showing up.
I turned on the page title setting, but nothing(page title or image) is showing up. I thought I found the proper spot to upload/add the mountain photo back in, but it’s not in my media library.
Do you have detailed documentation on setting up the home page for Pinnacle? I found some that explained each line item, but it didn’t break it down in enough detail for me to make any headway. Or maybe documentation for Virtue, if it’s similar?
Thanks for all of your speedy responses! It’s great to get help so quickly. 🙂

October 13, 2014 at 12:24 pm #197452. That is probably because of error stated in 3. Nothing that requires javascript will work until that is fixed.
Also you can learn more about the home page here: https://www.kadencewp.com/creating-a-home-page-with-virtue/

October 13, 2014 at 11:44 am #19737You can use the contact page template. or add a map using the pinnacle map shortcode. Just add to a pagebuilder row that is set as content wide class.

October 13, 2014 at 10:55 am #19732Looking at your site right now you don’t have anything set for the header on the home page? No slider? Or page title. You can’t have a transparent header unless you have one of those.
Clicking here you have the mountain photo: http://www.jhollywooddesigns.com/blog/On pages that you don’t you have turned the page title off.

October 13, 2014 at 10:08 am #197271. How are you adding to a page? “No items of this type were found” would be a notice in the theme options. Have you created sliders in the revoltion slider area?
http://themepunch.com/codecanyon/revolution_wp/documentation/2. If you want to show “featured products” You must have products that are featured. see: http://theitbros.com/how-to-set-featured-products-in-woocommerce/
If you want to show products on sale then you must have products that are actually on sale, meaning there is a regular price and a sale price.
You can also use any of the woocommerce shortcodes to add a grid of products to your home page: http://docs.woothemes.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/3. Your lightbox isn’t loading because you have this issue: http://docs.woothemes.com/document/jquery-cookie-fails-to-load/
Has to do with your server being really out of date, you can use the plugin that can be downloaded on that page but I also recommend you contact your host and get them to fix there out of date server files or get a new host.Hope that helps.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Modifying HTML H1 to H6 tag in Virtue Widget
October 13, 2014 at 9:30 am #19719Just fyi by making the logo/site-title an h1 class means it’s considered in SEO the header to each page, which is identical and not good for SEO… According to what I’ve read/experienced. you want to have 1 h1 tag per page and you want that to be the page title so it changes per page.. But I am curious to know if you know something I don’t and that has changed?
Another thing you can do for the info box is use a shortcode, then you don’t have to edit any files.. would look like this:
[infobox icon="icon-home" background="#f2f2f2"] <h2>My Title</h2> <p>Description</p> [/infobox]Ben

Thanks Ben! I do have the “Place behind header” turned on. No luck, it’s not working? And now the default mountain picture that was originally on the homepage has disappeared – where do I find it/set that photo? I had nothing to do with the disappearance. 😉 It’s still on some of, but not all of my other pages.
I set my other logos and it worked, fabulous!

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn forum: Pinnacle ThemeHey guys,
I’m not sure how long this has been going on but i just realized that when simple products have add to cart buttons the menu cart item count does not change when adding item to cart.
The item count will change when loading another page or refreshing but it wont change in real time.
I don’t have any cache plug-ins running so i don’t think that is the problem. On the other hand when adding an item from the shop archive pages the woocommerce sidebar cart will add the items once add to cart is clicked but still the main menu cart will not add the products.
I’ve deactivated all plugins with no change as well.
Hope to hear from someone soon. Thanks
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeTopic: Call To Action Mobile Look
I would like my homepage Call to Action to look the same on mobile devices as on a computer.
On a computer the image is set to “fixed” and provides the look I am aiming for.
On mobile devices the image that is part of the Call to Action scrolls with the page, not appearing as “fixed”.
staging.mountainize.com
Is there a way to update this feature for mobile devices?
Thank you

casaIn forum: Pinnacle ThemeHi,
a minute ago I´ve bought the Pinnacle Premium theme.I´d like to set up that theme for a sport club (noncommercial) on my own server / domain,
and later transfer the complete data to the sport clubs server / domain. Now I´ve read that this in terms and license:”The Revolution slider plugin bundled with Virtue Premium is only good for use on one domain….”
Does this mean that I should directly build the page on the clubs´sever address ?
Thanks for any help
