hi team,
I need your help with items:
1. How do we make the Top Bar Sticky?
2. A Blue bar (about 1/4th of the page width ) is showing on the bottom of all pages (example: when ShopBy in main menu is clicked: scroll to the bottom of the page before the footer) : how to get rid of it?
3. How to Auto-check Newsletter subscription on Checkout Page?
4. How do I change font size (looking for same size as rest of the items) of the title in the Footer for “Select Billing Country/Currency” and “Subscribe to or newsletter”? Below didn’t work:
Below doesn’t work:
/* Change font size of Currency Converter Widget in the Footer */
.widget_wc_aelia_currencyswitcher_widget .widget-title {
font-size: 12px;
}
5. How do I change the subscribe button in the Footer to be Gray and blue on hover (like other items in the footer)? Also, don’t need a border around the button. Don’t need the Mobile Phone # and email texts to be bold (same font as other items in the footer)
6. Is it possible to make the 2 buttons(INR/USD) in the top bar to be white in Color?
Below didn’t work:
/* Change the Currency Converter Button Color and Text */
.widget_wc_aelia_currencyswitcher_widget .currency_button.USD .currency_button.INR {
color: #fff;
}
7. How do I change font size of all titles in the footer? An example would be helpful.
8. The toughest one I believe, not sure if this is possible:
The INR rupee symbol and $ symbol in the topbar, I was wondering if it was possible to link them with a form submit (that could take the same action as the buttons in the left side of the topbar). I didn’t think so, but was exploring possible options.
9. Is it possible to include another bar just above Footer that I may use to place widgets into with different background (say dark gray) with white fonts? If yes, How can I introduce another horizontal section?
10. Is it possible to include another bar (that can be used to place widgets) just below the Top bar? (I’d like to include some special info./menu items in that would indicate free shipping, International shipping, and other similar advertisement options?) If yes, it would be helpful to know how to make that sticky.I’d really appreciate your help with this.
Thanks,

I’m not really very good with CSS and I was hoping that there was something in the Typography settings to make things easier for me.
It would be nice to change the font weight to 700 for the menu text but I can’t figure out what to define for “.sf-menu”.
Managed to get everything except the menu to look the way that I wanted with this CSS:.page-header {
border-top: 0;
border-bottom: 0;
display:none;
}.widget-inner h3 {
font-weight: 700;
text-align: center;
}.widget_text h3 {
font-weight: 700;
text-align: center;
}.footerclass a:hover {
color: #ed4c3e;
outline: none;
text-decoration:none;
}.footerclass a, .footerclass a:link, .footerclass a:visited {
color:#f5f5dc;
}.footerclass a:focus, .footerclass a:hover {
color: #ed4c3e;
outline: none;
text-decoration:none;
}In forum: Virtue ThemeFor the slider on the Home Page, I can easily change the Slider Pause Time. If I change the Slider Pause Time from 7000 to 3500 it’s only reflected on the Home Page. I also want to change the Slider Pause Time for the Featured Page Slider Images. Where can I do that ?

Testimonials: I would like, instead of the anonymous head in the testimonials, to add the image for the pull quote (large opening quotation marks). Is this possible, and if so, how please?
I have set the heading colour as #26547c but they often show up as just black, sometimes interspersing on the page. I have tried removing the formatting and re-setting it as Heading 2 or whichever. Not sure what I’m doing wrong?
Thank you!
In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Tags and categories
Hello!
I am creating an eshop and i am wondering how is it possible to show products by categories and tags when you click on them!
My site is this *Login to see link and for example when i am here *Login to see link and click on tag: test or on category: Κούπες i get these pages *Login to see link *Login to see linkIn forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Mobile navigation and pages messed up.
Thank you so much Ben! I did as suggested. Now my website will not load on my phone and I get the following message:
“Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding.”
Edit: Never mind, my boyfriend fixed this by restarting safari on my phone. 🙂 silly me.

September 28, 2014 at 8:50 am #18608A shortcode or a widget would not allow pagination. If you need it then you need to use a page template.
The shortcode allows you to select how many items are seen but doesn’t create pages for pagination.

TimIn forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Home Widget Area
Hello Ben,
Thanks again for the answer the other day. I would like to ask about the Home Widget Area. The page in question: *Login to see link
I placed a Call to Action on that area, however, by modifying the H1 typography, the font for the widget changed too. Is there a way to modify the typography on that part without affecting the entire site as a whole?

September 27, 2014 at 6:06 pm #18582I see that this page is not found:

http://dogsbestfriendsb.com/meet-our-pet-sitters/contact/Do you just have the wrong links in your menu?
Your menu doesn’t work on a desktop so I’m guessing that is your issue.Also in the theme options > home layout. You seem to have the custom carousel in the enabled section. But you are not using it? You should disable.
Ben
In forum: Virtue ThemeI don’t know what happened, but my mobile settings became messed up recently. All of the links in navigation lead to “page not found” and the navigation is not the drop down that I had set up. There are also unusual characters on the home page and the carousel is distorted.
I am only on my phone right now but was using a laptop earlier, none of these problems were apparent. A client just called and was not able to navigate my site… Where do I start in fixing this? Here is my website:
In forum: Virtue ThemeSeptember 27, 2014 at 5:35 pm #18578“so pages cannot be cached anyway”
Yes you can, w3 total cache does a great job with woocommerce. Just test on the demo.
“Is it worthwhile to use w3 total cache nonetheless just for database caching or minifying JS and CSS?”
Depends on your server but in most situations yes it’s worth it.
“Somewhere on the web I read that this might not work with all themes and plugins very well”
Minify can break plugins that are coded poorly but in general you shouldn’t have any issues.The theme is ready for it.

September 27, 2014 at 5:20 pm #18574So in your settings > reading. You would set the home page as the lasts post page. Then in your home page settings in the theme options scroll to the bottom and select the full post.
The page settings for a page template do not take effect for the home page. You have to use the settings in the theme options.
Ben
In forum: Virtue ThemeIf your using a caching plugin like w3 total cache (what I recommend)
I am not using it yet, instead, I set the Cache-Control headers of static files using Apache’s mod_expires and mod_headers. Using the virtue theme the dynamic shopping cart is on every page (what I find very good!), so pages cannot be cached anyway. Is it worthwhile to use w3 total cache nonetheless just for database caching or minifying JS and CSS? (Somewhere on the web I read that this might not work with all themes and plugins very well…)

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeTopic: Home Layout, Blog settings
I am looking for a way to have the latest posts on the homepage with a 1 column design.
On the home layout control I can choose how many post columns, but not less than 2 ?
I found a workaround for that: WP Preferences / Reading select a static page, select Front Page = – and Post page = a own page with the Blog Standard template.
You can see it here: *Login to see link
But now I have another problem: The blog list option “display post content as FULL” is not working selecting a page as homepage (but works on others like here: *Login to see link What am I doing wrong?
Thanks,

September 27, 2014 at 9:42 am #18549In the theme options > portfolio settings. You can select which page you want the grid to link to.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Problem with login
September 27, 2014 at 9:36 am #18546There are a lot of possible reasons for this. I can only guess there is something wrong in your htaccess file. Your image showed that you where trying to be redirected. What happens when you just go to /wp-login.php
Did you install a security plugin that would change your login page url?
