I am looking for a way to have the latest posts on the homepage with a 1 column design.
On the home layout control I can choose how many post columns, but not less than 2 ?
I found a workaround for that: WP Preferences / Reading select a static page, select Front Page = – and Post page = a own page with the Blog Standard template.

But now I have another problem: The blog list option “display post content as FULL” is not working selecting a page as homepage (but works on others like here: What am I doing wrong?
