You can set products as featured by clicking the start on the product in the products page of the admin.. see here: http://theitbros.com/how-to-set-featured-products-in-woocommerce/

You can add a featured carousel to a page using the carousel widget or on your home page using the featured carousel module in the theme options > home layout.

Yes Ben I have it installed it’s appearing in appearance > widgets but it is not an option in the “add widget” tab in page builder. I have checked and I have the latest version

3. You image is 1040px wide. The content is 1140. You should just upload an image that is the size of your page.

OH! I think I understand now – sorry!!! Under page builder widgets I’m supposed to choose that Visual Editor widget instead of just a normal text widget.. duh!

Thanks Ben – I’ve installed and activated it and it told me to add it as a widget to one of my sidebars or footers?? So it doesn’t seem to be able to apply to the blogposts I’m talking about? I’ve looked in all their documentation and can’t find what to do.

I would just use the normal visual editor in the edit-blog-post pages, but this did not allow me to embed a video – so I had to use the page builder widgets to put in the text, the video, then more text. Was this the correct workflow for just a normal blog post page?? Seems a bit laborious!

Hello,

I made home page with page builder with 9 icon boxes, 3 are in first row in blue color, rest in second in green color.
Sometimes 2 of boxes on page get same class so sometimes one i top row is green, sometimes one in bottom is blue.
Is there limit number of boxes on page or this is bug?
Does anyone know how to solve this?

1. If you are talking about the page meta title. That would be set with a SEO plugin, I recommend using YOAST SEO.

2. Can you post a link, That css should work. Also in your theme options > page title settings. Did you set an image background?

3. You can use the call to action widget. If you want an example of how to set it up just click the pre-built layout option in page builder and use “example home”. It will create that exact thing for you.

4. Using the info box widget. Also something that the page builder preset will create for you.

Hey,
1. You should use Yoast SEO if you want more advanced settings.
2. The blog page is a page, not a post. Just make sure you have not selected a page to be your “latest post” page in the settings > reading.
3. You can change the footer credit text in the theme options > misc settings.

Additional info related to this subject and some more …

The footer is back, but the widgets, for example the one with contact details is not updating the information which is added.

Second another problem appears with when opening a page and than choose to change a content the page builder is not shown.
Only if I go out en in a page again 2 or 3 times, the page builder appears. What is creating these problems.

Could it be plug ins create a distortion, but they are all in line of the Theme.

Please can you take a look or advise? Andy

Hello again,

First:

“You searched” appears in the title of search page.

I don’t find how I change the Search Page background (i’m trying to remove the photo of mountain). The “custom CSS” doesn’t go:

body.search-results .titleclass {
background: blue;
}

Finally,

I want to create two modules in home page:

1. Call Me Button with the same background and size (“Responsive Design. Powerful Options.
And support that’s got you covered.”)

2. Key Features in a subpage, for example myweb.com/services

I am confused. I worked out that it is better to lay out this post (*Login to see link with the widgets available under page builder. There is a lot of text, and I want to make my post look nicer/clearer. Without Page Builder I would just write the text in the box on the post’s editing page, and insert videos with an embed code, make the text bold, etcetc.
However, I can’t work out the relationship of the normal text edit box to the Page-Builder text widgit box. I copied all of my text into a text widget box, and told it to automatically organise paragraphs – but there is no way to put in links or make text bold or highlight anything. Am I missing something?? This is really annoying as I’ve had to re write and reinsert links several times within the text editing window , only to find that it doesn’t automatically update the text widget.

Please help!

I just updated the Theme. It works now, except there is one minor issue:

If you go to the product page at https://www.fiveroasters.de/shop/sunbird-filter/ then it prints “inkl. 7% MwSt.” twice. The second occurence directly above “IN DEN WARENKORB” (add to card) should not appear.

It should only be printed once, as it is with the Twenty Thirteen theme, see https://seacloud.cc/f/f1756344d3/

Hey, that’s strange. If it’s appearing in appearance > widgets it should also be an option in the “add widget” tab in page builder. Do all other widgets seem to be available?

I am watching the Page Builder Tutorial and I don’t seem to to have the visual editor widget as an option. I have read all the FAQ and I can see it under appearance in the widget area and can add it to side bars etc- how can i add it to the page builder options

The customer can set there gravatar, on gravatar.com I don’t understand why changing the standard functions for how that works on the my-account page (where they are the only ones that can see it) makes sense?
Your user would just be uploading an image for theme to look at? All other plugins and other places throughout the theme are going to call get_avatar().

You can look around for a plugin like this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-user-avatar/ that overrides the get_avatar function but that doesn’t have a front end user interface and something like that isn’t a theme territory, its better kept to a plugin because of the nature of what it’s changing in the wordpress core.

ok, then if your issue stems from easy adsense pro and it isn’t allowing a standard wordpress function “get_excerpt()” to work you should use a different plugin, of contact the author and ask theme to fix the plugin or turn off the adds for the begining of posts and add to the end or not use a page that has post excerpts
