I have tried several things on the following page ( *Login to see link ). I can’t seem to get a background color around the billing details, and ship to different address. I am wanting it to look like the one I set up on the bottom of the page with the dark background, and red border.
Is there a way to make the pictures in the image menu item wider? I’ve adjust the height but can’t find the width setting. I’d like to put three images side by side that stretch the full width of the page (rectangular, not square). At the moment there’s a lot of white space around the images.
Hi,
Love your theme!
I have two questions for you: first, when using the revolution slider on some of my pages, the text below the slider loads first, then gets pushed down once the slider loads. It looks a bit jarring. Is there a way to delay the full page load until the slider has fully loaded?
Second question (somewhat related to the first): I’m currently using revolution slider to diplay a full width image with text on top. It’s just one image so I’d rather not be using a slider. Is there an alternative to the slider that allows you to place text on top of wide-screen image?
Thanks!
Thanks for putting me in the right directions. I found the issue. It was checked for the force SSL. Soon as I chnged that it show the check out page. I just hadn’t got my SSL yet. Soon as I do, I will make the change. Thanks again.
Hi,
The woocommerce price filter widget is no showing (both shop, category page). I’m using virtue premium theme.
All other woocommerce widgets are showing fine (product category, product search).
Any idea?

Is the checkout page set in the woocommerce settings > checkout?

Hi Ben,
The code is on the home page. http://www.allaboutchai.com . The add is in the righthand sidebar with Useful Links as the title.
THanks,
Eileen
I was working on my site. The cart pages, etc. When I clicked on the check out, I get “page not found” message. *Login to see link Do I have to have payment options set up before this is activated? Or am I missing something.
You shouldn’t have to touch any php. You might try using a plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/adsense-plugin/
Else can you post a link to the page where you added the code?
Ben

I have trying to tighten up the spacing between the two HR Rule above and below the paragraph on the home page. I tried putting this in the css, but is apparently has something that over rides it. #pg-267-0, #pg-267-1, .panel-grid-cell .panel {
margin-bottom: 0px;
} because it will only make the change in inspect elements. Is there a way I can do this?
I think https://wordpress.org/plugins/akismet/ is the best plugin but it requires you sign up with theme and tehy as for you to pay but you can try it out by selecting to pay nothing then go from there.
There are some others that target specific areas like the registration form and comment form.
As for the registration, woocommerce adds more options to the built in registration of wordpress. You can add a link to the my account page where you can have registration or use a plugin with a registration widget. Once a user registers it doesn’t mean they are subscribed to your blog like they will get notices every time to you post. You would need a plugin to add that.

After you turned if off in the portfolio page did you clear your cache?
Ben
I have a couple of questions besides just preventing spam. I have gotten quite a bit of spam since setting up my site. Is there a plugin that you suggest to help prevent spam users?
I was also wanting to set up a user registration on the home page. Can I do this with virtue theme, or do I have to have a certain plugin?
If someone registers for my site, does this also register for them for use on my blog, or is that a different item altogether?
Dear Ben
In the Recent Posts widget at the bottom of my pages in the footer, the list of the last 5 posts doesn’t include any thumbnails, and I don’t know how to add them in there.
Also I notice my blog doesn’t include them in the summary posts either. Although I am currently experimenting and I think it’s something to do with having a featured image, isn’t it?
Many thanks, as usual.
It was on, now it’s turned off (for the portfolio grid page) but makes no difference. I also went to Theme Options-Misc Settings- WordPress Galleries and Use Masonry Feature on Virtue Galleries is turned on there, but it is still a neat grid.
The css worked for the msrp strikethru text. But I couln’t find where to change the other in the basic styling. This is one of the pages. ( http://www.baywatcharms.com/?product=lionheart-109mnvkblk-lh9n-mkii ).
Oh sorry I just mean sometimes due to my inexperience I make a change and then something disastrous happens somewhere else in the site because of consequences I wasn’t aware of… But I assume this will not happen in this case. I just need to get my head around how I allocate a page to a particular menu, which I think is not complicated…
Here is what I ended up doing, and it seems to work fine. On the Lionheart page ( http://www.baywatcharms.com/?page_id=819 ), I made a 5 column row. In each section I will add a widget ( Virtue, and Text ) I linked these images to the product page associated with that product. I don’t want it to get to complicated. I have specials rules that have to be followed to sale firearms on-line. I think the way I have it set up will work.
I do have on issue on the product pages though. The prices are very hard to read with the color they have. Is there a way to change that is css. I can’t seem to find it. http://www.baywatcharms.com/?product=854
Are you wanting a page like this http://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium/product-category/tshirts/
If so then you would use categories for it. you don’t need to make a page and you don’t need to use a widget. Just assign a category to your products and link to the category page.
If you really want a “gallery” of images that link to product pages you can use the virtue gallery and this plugin will allow you to add custom links.
