Oh Hannah/ Ben, Unfortunately changing the Head Content to None doesn’t make any difference to how the post appears in the main blog page when it is set to summarise the posts; i.e., the picture in the blog post still appears on top of the title rather than underneath. It makes you think the title belongs to the wrong picture when you look at it. I have to have a featured image, I have set the head content to None as you said, is there anything else I can do? Is this image which is appearing ABOVE the title in the summary blog pages the same as the featured image or is it the image i have included in the blog post?

Ben, things have been going really well in setting the theme up.
However today the site was hanging saying “waiting for cache”
So, even though w3 total cache was disabled, I uninstalled it.
Immediately after, all the shop, shop category paths don’t work
(also the slider images and normal pages)
Almost everything is now broken.

I have a backup from yesterday, but I don’t want to use it yet, because it also has the disabled w3 total cache in it.

Any idea on what the uninstall of w3 total cache did?
The uninstall left the cache directory there with a bunch of folders and files, I tried deleting that just now, no difference
there’s also a “w3tc-config” directory there.
I ran through the woocommerce tools, no difference either.

Is this something that can be fixed? Important since I want to set my slides up. If I have a shop new or call to action, I want it to disply even on the mobile devices. Please help.

The theme doesn’t have comments on “pages” built in by default. You can have comments on “posts” but for pages you have to add this to your page template file right before the closing div:

<?php comments_template('templates/comments.php'); ?>

I suggest using a child theme for the edits, if you need help with that let me know,

Hey,
1. This isn’t a built in possibility with the theme, you would have to use a plugin and I don’t know of any free plugins that do this. It would be something cool to add to the theme so I can look into that for a future update.

2. I’m working on an update to allow for a single column layout on the testimonial page, right now it’s 2, 3 or 4 but I’ll have that out later today.

Hey Petica,
When you edit your post page under Standard Post Options you can set the head content to none. This should fix your first issue.
It looks like you’re using the virtue: recent posts widget in your sidebar and the wp recent posts widget in your footer. Make sure it’s the virtue one.

Thankyou very much Ben and sorry to bother you again but when I set a featured image in a post that already has the image in it (either in an image widget inserted with page builder, or just inserted via the visual section of the Edit-Post ) , the image is duplicated, and the Featured image appears really large ABOVE the post’s title, which is a bit annoying. And then the image appears again below the text and title (because it was already part of the post).
How do I resolve this? If I HAVE to have a featured image, how can I make it not appear above the post title but below it?

You can add this css:

This may make the images a little blurry though. depending on the images. if thats the case then you would want to use the image menu widget and just add a widget to a column in the pagebuilder page content.

Hey,
Glad your enjoying the theme.

1. To help with the loading I recommend using a plugin like w3 total cache which will really make a difference in how the site loads.

As for making it hidden until the page loads you can add this css to the theme options > custom css box:

.body {
opacity: 0;
}

There is javascript that will make the body opacity 1 once the JS loads.

2. There isn’t really an option for this, But with a little creativity I could look into adding one. Would you want the text to be in the center? The tricky part would be positioning the text. if it needed to be custom then your best bet would be using the revolution slider.

I know the asynchronous is the newer code. From what I understand from this page it can take a some time before it shows?

Either way I can’t image there is anything in the theme that would keep this from loading and from looking at your page there aren’t any errors.
My best guess would be to try the plugin option. Or regenerate your adsense code and try it again.

There are a few tricks (like uploading a another text widget) for adding images like one would in a regular post or on a page, but certainly no way to add Alt info to the parallax or wide screen images. Is this the case? Do you know a work around?

One other thing. over the weekend I have changing the look a little bit on my site. Mostly some background colors, borders, border radius. One thing that I just notice was that a red border showed up where I don’t want it. Here is just one of the pages ( http://www.baywatcharms.com/?product=lionheart-109cnvkblk-lh9n ). It shows up on all the product descriptoin pages. Is there a way to have it not show up on those pages, but still keep it active on the rest?
