    I’m assuming there is a shortcode with this slider? Use the home page slider settings, choose the cyclone slider but add your shortcode to the box.

    Hi, I just bought the Wide Showcase Slider from Sakura Plugins. this plugin offers a content slider or a full page slider. I am able to set my home page with the content slider, but I want the slider to take up the entire homepage. It seems like the theme is blocking it from being full screen. Is there something I can do to fix this.
    Thank You.

    you would need to edit a file: front-page.php

    and add this inbetween lines 47 and 48:

     <div id="pageheader" class="titleclass">
    <div class="container">
    <?php get_template_part('templates/page', 'header'); ?>
    </div>
    </div><!--titleclass-->

    Then in the theme options > home layout move the “page title” to disabled.

    On all our pages the title goes to the right, above the site-bar which we show on the left (thanks to the CSS code you gave us). On all the pages the title is on the left exept for the homepage ( look at creatiefzijnravenstein.nl) What can i do to show the homepage title above the sidebar?
    Thank you.

    Can you post the link?

    I just realized your not using pagebuilder so you wouldn’t be using the widget. You just need to select the title in your page content and click the text align center button in wordpress editor.

    Did you install pagebuilder and play around with the example prelayouts?

    1) I installed the demo 4 options data. Looks like I didn’t have the most up-to-date version of the theme. I was still running 2.0.9.6 so I didn’t have the “Basic, with shrink for sticky” option.

    Its all good now. Thanks!

    2) For the page content I ended up using the following HTML from the demo page which worked well:

    <div class=”panel-row-style-wide-parallax panel-row-style” style=”background-image: url(‘PICTURE URL HERE’); padding: 0px 99.5px; padding-bottom: 5%; margin-left: -99.5px; margin-right: -99.5px; visibility: visible; background-position: 50% 0px;”>
    <center><h1><span style=”color: #ffffff;”>SOME TEXT HERE</span></div>

    Thanks!

    Hello ,
    Hope you can help me with this question:
    The featured images on the portfolio page are not the same size. i did choose ‘yes ‘at : crop images to equal hight and i set image hight if cropping on 200.
    But the images are different sizes now.. dit i forget something? For example look here:
    Thank you!

    #9308

    I now have used an image from paypal logo center. But this is different on any paypal page, this is exactly what fits to germany.

    See it here: http://www.pastellbilder.de/shop/

    That would work, except I want the image to be located underneath the title on the home page, instead of the image being located to the left of both the content and the title. It should be under the title and to the left of the content.

    If you are using the header style : basic with shrinking then it doesn’t support the secondary menu.
    Need to switch to standard. The options are at the bottom of the page on your mains settings tab of the theme options.

    Hello,

    I just purchased your premium theme and have run into a major issue with the secondary menu. I thought it could be because I downloaded and used the demo content, but it doesn’t appear to be a problem with styles. The menu just isn’t there, period.

    I have gone into wordpress menus and created a secondary menu and made sure that the menu location is set to “Secondary Menu,” but it is not displaying on the page at all? I even checked in Firebug and the menu code is not in any of the pages. It’s just not inserting it at all?

    Hey there,
    I would like to be able to add a featured image to my posts and I would also like to have a thumbnail version of the featured image displayed on the homepage in the blog post summaries. (Using the Page Content method of displaying latest posts.)
    Thank you

    #9294

    Did you do what I said above? You have to make the home page your latest posts page. Then the “page content” module will be your latest posts and will automatically have pagenavi below it. You have to move the “latest posts” module to disabled.

    Have you viewed this tutorial: https://www.kadencewp.com/creating-a-home-page-with-virtue/

    Hi,
    thanks for reply. That suggestions are in use and that works fine yet > therfore I alreday get the 8 or 10 latest post on the home page. The problem is another part. I target the area below that 10 latest posts. Below the 8 or 10 latest posts should appear a page navigation like WP-PageNavi (http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-pagenavi/). In another Topic here in the Virtue Forum is mentioned that this Plugin is already a build-in-plugin inside the virtue theme. But how can I activate it or use it on the home page? The original guide of the WP-PageNavi plugin gives advice to find calls to next_posts_link() and previous_posts_link() in the theme and replace them. But I don’t find the right position in the virtue theme… The guide says to replace it by the code <?php wp_pagenavi(); ?> My goal is, that users can browse through all posts backward + forward. Actually the users only see the last 8 or 10 posts on the home page.
    bye Hartmut

    Hi Ben,

    how do I remove a sidebar from the pages? Is there any setting or do I need to edit the code? I would like to remove it from all pages, as it now leaves a blank space when I edit with the Page Builder. I am using the Virtue Premium. Thanks a lot!!
