I am trying to link a video from youtube to my site but the code I enter in the box for video posts shows up on the page. Am I doing something wrong?
Yep, working on demo 4 which will does this: http://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium-4/
You can do it now using the latest version of the theme, just set up your revolution slider to be full screen (need to make sure you have the updated revolution slider: https://www.kadencewp.com/updating-revolution-slider-for-virtue-premium/
When you set the slider in the theme options to revolution slider it will have two button options, 1 asking if you want to put the slider at the top of the page, 2 asking if you want the arrow button at the bottom.

I would like to design a site that has a revolution slider that takes up the entire screen on all devices. I would also like to have a button that is linked to css animation controlled with a $function (or something) to slide the page up revealing the rest of the page if that makes sense. More or less resembling this site *Login to see link …Is this possible?
Hey Ben – I’m trying to get add-to-cart Google Analytics events working with Virtue and WooCommerce.
I have the standard page-view events working using the theme Advanced Settings, but when I also tick the “Add tracking code for add to cart actions” in the WooCommerce settings (integration), I don’t see any action coming through when I debug the GAX messages using GA Debug for Chrome.
Are add-to-cart actions that needs to be handled at the theme level instead of WooCommerce, since that’s where the page-tracking events are?
Thanks!! Aaron

Just updated wordpress to v. 3.9 and my posts are no longer displayed.
Instead, when trying to view a post I get this message:
CATCHABLE FATAL ERROR: OBJECT OF CLASS WP_POST COULD NOT BE CONVERTED TO STRING IN /HOMEPAGES/26/D486459144/HTDOCS/TEA/WP-CONTENT/PLUGINS/QTRANSLATE/QTRANSLATE_CORE.PHP ON LINE 455
Any ideas?
Hey Next time just refresh the forms page, if you are logged in it will clear the cache for you and show you the new post box.
Is your home page a static page in the wordpress settings > reading.
If so you can use the page content and in your theme options > home layout > layout manager, move the page content module to the top of the enabled list.
Of you can use the widget area module.
Ben
You add images to the image menu area (like you do with the slider).. images at least 560px by 360px.
Here is a step by step.
1. Go to Theme Options -> Home Layout -> Home Page Manager, and enable the “image menu” module.
2. Scroll down on that tab till you see “Image Menu Options” (it’s right below the “home page manager”)
3. Click on the first “slide” in the image menu area to open it.
4. Upload an image (must be at least 560px wide) by clicking the upload button.
5. Add a title and a description and a link in the appropraite boxes.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 till you have three slides.
7. Make sure the columns is set to 3 and the height to 110
8. save
Ben
in Theme Options –> Home layout –> Home Page Manager, there’s an option Image Menu. What does it do? (a link to a tutorial will be nice).
Thanks
Susanne
Thanks, I added your code on the page “Home” and now there is only white space. Using Maxthon and Firefox.
Any suggestions?
Susanne
I want it on my home page.
I tried to add the shortcode [product_categories number=“15,19” parent=”0″]
but that didn’t work.
Susanne
HI, I am unable to create a new post on the forum even though I am logged in. But I was wondering how I can create a full page width text box on the home page to appear between the slider and portfolio boxes please? Thanks for your help. Claire
Ok where on your home page, shop page?
Woocommerce has shortcodes that show the categories or in the woocommerce settings you can set it so that the shop page only shows categories or shows both categories and products
Ben
Ok, lets start by getting a little clear picture of what you want. Where do you want this category image to show? Which page? Where in the page? Provide a link.
Ben
In your wordpress menu page. Click on the links tab on the left, Add a custom link, make that link the url to your home page.

Ben
Hey,
How are you wanting photos to show? If you want to add a slider of images on the category page like here: http://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium-3/product-category/gear-packs/
You use the revolution slider or the cyclone slider then add your slider shortcode to the slider shortcode box in the edit category page.
If you are setting up a page just to show your categories then you need to use images larger then 150×150 for a page like this: http://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium-3/product-categories-grid/
Ben
So if your not using a static page as you home page just add a custom menu link with your site url.
Ben
Hi,
I have a menu on my page where as “Home” is one of the options. My problem is that I want the page to redirect to my frontpage, instead it goes to it’s own page called “Home”.
Hope you understood my problem.. if not, ask 🙂
Thanks!
Yeah you can use the page builder and the carousel widget or you can use a shortcode:
[carousel type=featured-products]
Ben
Hey Ben,
Thanks again for all the support!
Is it possible to put the “featured products” slider as it appears on the homepage, somewhere else on the site as well? For example, I page I want to put it on is *Login to see link
Cheers!
Can you post a link to this page? More then likly there is an open link tab in your post. For example a <a href=''> wasn’t proporly closed with </a>
