Hey Ben,
I am trying to get rid of the big white space between my revolution slider and home icon menu on the home page. I also want to try to reduce the width of the icons to match that of the slider width. Can you please assist? Thanks a lot. (*Login to see linkIn forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Product filters in Dashboard not functioning

I can’t change a length of text fields. I know how, but theme can’t support it. As I understand – Virtue theme have fixed length of field. How can I change it?
you can look it on my page – http://www.intempologistica.com (at bottom of home page)

Installed 2.2.4 and that fixed the issue of filtering in the dashboard product list – thanks for that. But still having an issue sorting the product list. The order I create by clicking the sort products button on the products page of woocommerce and moving products up and down by dragging, doesn’t seem to hold on the front end, when I actually view the site’s product pages. Or I should say, some product shows up where I placed it, others don’t. Any thoughts on that?
Also wondering if it’s possible to extend the number of products shown on the woocommerce products page (back end). It seems to default to 20 listings, which gives me more then one page. No prob, except that if I want a product that’s on, let’s say page two of the list, to appear before a product on page 1, there is no way (that I see, at least) to drag across the page break.
(Product sorting seems to be a common issue with woocommerce, no? Know of any good plugins to address this?)
As always, thanks in advance!!

V8 3.23.17.14The previous test was on Style 3.
I have now tested on Style 2 products page
in style 2 product pages – Both standard android and android Chrome browser are responsive to touch to open the main product image in a lightbox. The Related Products carousel doesn’t respond to swipe (need to navigate using the arrows), but the related products carousel images are responsive to touch – which opens a product page on touch.

March 12, 2014 at 2:56 pm #6138Click on the theme, then click on “view version 2.2.4 details”
As for downloading the file to your desktop, you have to do that here from your my-account page.

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi Ben,
i am testing android browsers on a Samsung Galaxy note 2 (android 4.3).The Product pages (theme style 3) and related product carousels seem to be working using the standard/default android browser. It responds to touch, swipe, lightbox open and close on the product pages and the related products navigate on touch to the product page.
using the android chrome browser, on the product page – the related product carousel responds to swipe but not touch, unless touching the image edge to navigate to the product. The main product image responds to touch and opens the lightbox.

In forum: Virtue ThemeMarch 12, 2014 at 1:09 pm #6129The important thing for me to straighten first is with the product carousels can you check the demos and make sure you can get to the product pages by clicking the product image in a carousel? the gallery carousel with Lightbox is pretty low priority in the scheme of things.

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi Ben,
I haven’t had a chance to load or test v2.2.4. But regarding the Test Gallery in the android browsers, solutions need to be refined.
on the standard android browser – after the initial browser page loads, the Testing Gallery responds to touch (to open the lightbox) and swipe (to navigate the carousel gallery images). After touch is used to open the lightbox and the lightbox is then closed; the swipe functionality is lost, (then only able to navigate the images using the arrows). The same cycle of functionality is achieved by refreshing the page 🙁
using the android chrome browser – the Testing Gallery correctly responds to swipe but not touch. The lightbox only opens when the edge of the carousel image is touched.
Hope the feedback has been useful 🙂

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Icon hover effect code
Hi Ben,
I know there are already some topics about your icons and also about some hover effects, but I did not find the right one.
I’m using following icon right now, which I just put into some text:
[icon icon=icon-facebook2 size=30px style=circle color=#fff background=#4C4C4C]
What do I have to put into this code to get a hover effect on the icon?
Does it have any disadvantages (maybe concerning the page speed, etc) to use it just like this in a text? Thanks, Martin
In forum: Virtue ThemeMarch 12, 2014 at 1:49 am #6108Ok, I pushed an update with some of the fix, I’m wondering about something though, can you try this page on your device? http://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium-2/testing-gallery/
It’s on the second demo site and I’ve deactivated the revolution slider as a test.

March 11, 2014 at 7:47 pm #6098I think I’m still confused,
So you just want a page that shows more then one category? Thats easy just use the woocommerce shortcodes on the page to pull in the categories you want, or make parent categories like women’s clothing would be the parent of women’s swimsuits.Ben
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Connecting Pages to Product Category Pages
Thanks for this Ben.
Maybe I have purchased the wrong theme for my needs. I was planning on using Virtue for a Retail website, that has multiple categories for Women’s clothing, Men’s Clothing, Kids Clothing, Houseware etc. If I were to display each woocommerce category page in the menu it would be far to cumbersome.
I realised how I can make it work, by adding a link to the menu rather than a page.
Thanks Ben!

March 11, 2014 at 7:32 pm #6094I’m confused, why not use the category page already built by woocommerce, why are you trying to make a page?
This link works because it is a category: http://www.shopjamrock.com/product-category/womens-swimwear/
But the page you have the menu pointed to is a “page” not a product category.
There is an example here: http://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium-3/
The menus shows shop then categories, each link isn’t a page it is a category.Ben
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Connecting Pages to Product Category Pages
Sorry I am probably not asking my question properly. I have successfully added categories to my menu. The problem I am having is that I have created a Swimwear category in the menu bar and also added products to a “Women Swimwear” category but I would like the two pages to be connected, i.e. When you click on Swimwear under Women in the menu bar you get to Women Swimwear products.
Ideally I’d like to be able to change the Permalink for Swimwear Page to http://www.shopjamrock.com/product-category/womens-swimwear/ but when I type it in it becomes http://www.shopjamrock.com/product-categorywomens-swimwear/
I hope that is a bit more clear.

In forum: Virtue ThemeMarch 11, 2014 at 7:17 pm #6091Can you make sure the page is cleared of cache? because if the touch is working it shouldn’t open a new page.

March 11, 2014 at 7:13 pm #6089On the menus page in the admin of wordpress, click on the screen options tab at the top right corner. then in the drop down click on the product categories check box. Then you will be able to add your categories to the menu.
