I am trying to just create a gallery with portfolio posts that can be viewed with the lightbox and that doesn’t link to actual post pages, as I am using only images and no text within the posts. Is there a tab or a box to check to do this? I seem to recall seeing it in the past, but can’t seem to locate it now. Any assistance will be appreciated.

By header do you mean header background?

That can be done with css:

for a page you get the page id and it would look like this:

.pageid-212 .headerclass {background:#444;}

and if that page had children that you wanted the same header background for those child pages it would look like this:

.pageid-212 .headerclass, .parent-pageid-212 .headerclass {background:#444;}

Hi there,
I’m creating a silo’d website. So for example there’s the home page, then an ‘about’ page with a bunch of pages under the ‘about’ silo. There are 6 silos in total with a total of 26’s between them.

I would like to change my header for each silo. So for example the ‘About’ header is different to the home page header but the same as all the other pages under ‘about’.

Can I do this in Virtue premium? I’ve been fiddling around trying to do it for days!

I would love some help with the spacing and alignment in my footer. I’ve tried many different things, based on your support for similar topics, but I haven’t found anything that gets me what I’m after. I’m a beginner at this.

I’m using the 3 column footer. Is there any way to:
1. Make the center column larger than the other two? So a custom width, I guess?
2. Make menu in the 3 column flush with left side of page (like the content in column one is flush (left) with the content on the left side of the page)? I really don’t like where it’s placed.
3. Adjust the space between the 3 columns? It seems like there is a LOT of space.

Thanks for the reply! Maybe I can help you with your testing a little bit.

I did some testing myself and saw the following strange behaviour. I went to a option panel that has very little or no entries so far (e.g. “advanced settings”) and then click on the “Reset Section” button, my all changes to my webpage seem lost (fonts, widgets etc.). However, all settings in all other menu panels are still the same (exept for the reseted one, in my case advanced settings).

The strange thing ist, if I just click save changes right after that (without a single change in any menu panel) everything returns to the state before. So now all fonts, sizes, widgets etc. are back in place.

I hope this helps you to find the bug.

BTW: Am I right that I do NOT have to install the virtue toolkit plugin which was necessary with the free version of the theme?

Do you mean add a list description in the loop not using your metabox provided?
That’s could be a good idea…and what about Category is not translated in the dynamic filter in shop page? At least I don’t use it.

When I inspect the page it’s the only thing that is not https… and I can’t seem to get the page to load with it missing? can you?

The main portfolio page works perfect, the problem is now in the portfolio page that title and description have same untranslated values.
If you can set it many people can benefit of your theme and qTranslate.

I think you did it before my latest post when I told you I stop operating so maybe I overrode it.
Please check it. You have data to access. I don’t touch it till you verify it and say me you finish, because so far you can see portfolio page is still untranslated

ok how do you have yours set to not reload the page? it seems to use ajax. I just tested on a local and if the page reloads it uses the search template and works fine.

Hi Ben, after I run a search using a filter the results page shows without the sidebar despite i’ve set standard sidebar in the template options.
pls have a look at *Login to see link and select “road bikes itineraries” with the filter on the sidebar… the results page will be a full with one

Help Ben, are the paths in your theme hard-coded? I am having a problem with WooCommerce with installed Authorize.net CIM plug-in. The site has SSL Certificate through Go Daddy and is verified, but the WC checkout-pay page is not secured and I cannot type into the credit card text boxes (the same for eCheck). The techs at WooCommerce asked me to check the to see if the paths are hard-coded and if not, install WC ‘wordpress-https.3.3.6’. So presuming they are not I went ahead and installed the plugin. Still the same no changes. The tech at WC said he can type in the text box.

I am a novice with WP and WC so if you can help me out before I get fired from this crummy job I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I’ve noticed that when I add a Portfolio carousel to my pages, in Internet Explorer the page jumps back up to the top – wherever I am on it – every couple of seconds. Is this a known bug and how do I fix it?

Not without some serious rewriting or a redirect plugin…

Are you trying to make a grid that links to blog posts? If you are just linking to a gallery page you can use the portfolio post to show a gallery.
