I’m using the following customer CSS to alter the bullets on my unordered lists:
ul li {
list-style-image: url('*Login to see link
}Is there a way to not have this image used when I indent bullets as seen in the right hand column on this page?
I would prefer dashes, but the default symbol or anything other than my custom bullet would be preferred. Thanks much!
In forum: Ascend ThemeHi Kadence folk
I’ve created a Portfolio section in my development site, and applied two or three Portfolio Type categories to each portfolio article. A carousel appears at the bottom of the portfolio page showing similar projects. The problem is, it only considers one portfolio category from the database when it chooses the similar projects.
Is it possible for the carousel to select similar projects from all the relevant portfolio categories of the parent page? The relevant code appears in templates/content-single-portfolio-bottom-carousel.php, starting at line 75. I’m using a child theme, so I’m happy to replace that template in the child directory if required.

January 13, 2021 at 11:40 pm #262559Hey,
On the first site you linked to you’ve specifically selected that your content to be full width. When you do this the container is removed allowing you to define the terms of your content container. Consider that you might want a background image to stretch from screen edge to screen edge. When you do this you have to define some padding around the content you add or none will exist. This is usually most easily done by adding a row layout-block as your main container block because you can select the padding you want.
This is similar on the second site where you’ve selected your page layout to be fullwidth. This gives you a blank slate that you then control. If you want the theme to control things use the normal layout and your content will be restrained and have padding on mobile.
I hope that clarifies!

In forum: Kadence BlocksI am trying to set up a row in a post so that only logged in users can see it. I have another row for only logged OUT users. I believe I had this working last week but as of today, it is no longer working. I can’t get the correct user types to see the correct rows. As an admin, I am seeing both but should only be seeing one. Subscribers are seeing the wrong one.
I’m not sure if there’s something I’m doing wrong or if there’s an update or bug causing the issue.
This image shows the settings on this particular row. I want this row to display to anyone who is not logged in but be hidden from anyone who is.
The page in question is: *Login to see link

Hi,
Apologies for the delay!1. Have you tried publishing the page to see if it will show in the dropdown? I believe that will resolve this, but let me know if not!
2. Yes, you can use the same blocks in Kadence as you currently are. Yes, most page layouts should remain the same. If you plan to do this I definitely recommend having a backup. https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/
3. So sorry to hear that about Clayton! Thanks for the feedback on that.
Kindly,

January 13, 2021 at 1:18 pm #262541What I find out while designing cart and checkout page.
Imho it should be possible to choose a layout with one column on desktop too. It looks squashed.
And the product thumbnails in the cart should be visible on mobile. I don‘t know why woocommerce hide them on mobile?! That‘s a strange decision…
For the moment I will use custom css. But is kadence planning a better woocommerce integration? Would be awesome :).
I don‘t mind if you like to showcase the site when it is live :). I really like working with the theme and plugins. Please keep up the awesome work!
Kind regards,
TobiasIn forum: Virtue ThemeJanuary 13, 2021 at 12:45 pm #262540Hi Kadence, I have been trying to add a custom field to my product page where my clients can leave info about their order like the field available on the checkout page. It is possible? do you have any shortcode I can use for that? This is a sample of the page where I want to add the field: *Login to see link
Thank You

In forum: Ascend ThemeGood morning Kadence WP Team,
I noticed recently that previously working unordered lists no longer display the bullets, even though the content is indented properly. I’m using Ascend with Elementor, and Poppins is the font. I’m adding a screenshot of an example in the Elementor edit page mode. Appreciate whatever insight you can provide!
Many thanks,
SaraIn forum: Kadence ThemeJanuary 13, 2021 at 2:40 am #262528Hello,
If anyone have a tip or two regarding login pages, plugins solutions I would appreciate it.
I´m currently working on two different online course websites. Kadence Theme, Demo Course, is excellent. I am very happy its available. Course LMS I use is Learnpress. Works brilliantly together.
My concern is basically when members, subscribers – students login to their accounts. Any thoughts on how to best and most smoothly make this work? I am using Buddypress on my own course site currently – but will probably change – students buying courses have problems seeing the tab for their bought courses on the profile/account page. It works but doesnt look so nice either from a design perspective.
On the client site I installed Utlimate Member plugin. Great in that it stop subscribers/students from reaching the Default WordPress Dashboard/admin site. But problem with Ultimate Member plugin and Learnpress is that although I got it to work together – Learnpress profile pages and Ultimate member, unfortunately sometimes Learnpress default login/register/profile pages show up, and some times the Ultimate Member pages. Depending on if the login in to an existing account, New registered account and if they buy a course or just continue on a course they are taking. Yes, I have made the settings in Ultimate Member settings which page I like to open. But sometimes Learnpress LMS plugin show up anyway. Not a huge problem, but unecessary.
Any tips appriciated.
Best regards

Hi Annette,
If you keep scrolling the content shows on the following pages in print view. Though web design is different from print design. From my understanding, these are not meant to be fluid. Are you hoping to have a print design website?Kindly,

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Avoiding too many Google Maps Geocoding requests
In forum: Virtue ThemeWe seem to have hit a limit for google maps request. Here’s a screenshot from the Google Console in the next post. As you see, mostly it is Geocoding.
We use Google Maps only on a few pages like the contact page and with the shortcode gmap address="xyz".
Would it be possible that one can enter lat/long coordinates instead of the street address. That is as an alternative option for the gmap shortcode and the contact page. This way the geocoding request would not require the Google Geocoding API (and also load faster).
