I have a shop on my website. Due to the nature of the products I sell, I require new customers to make an account on the website. On my checkout page there is a banner which reads “Returning customer? Click here to login” however when I click, nothing happens. Clicking the click goes to /checkout/#. I believe it’s supposed to open a popup where a returning customer can log in. Please advise.

As an additional note, the modal popup to add a coupon code as seen in the screenshot DOES work on this page.

Same issue – and same solution right now – I have white screen on edit pages, posts and add new of both. I deactivate – do my updates and reactivate. The problem is Kadence is embedded on the Home Page and alot of other key pages – so I ahve tried EVERYTHING –

Tested all plugins – Kadence is the where the issue is
Tried to roll back seversal versions of WP even to 6.5 – same issue
Contacted support of firewall – they had me add .htacess info didn’t wor
change and test PHP versions
Read EVERYTHING on the (at least it felt like it) and was willing to try any suggestion – nothing
I am not afraid to test things and try anything as I have been working with websites for over 20 years…

The problem is I don’t want to rebuild the site unless I absolutely have to – if I made the mistake – I would have already done it. Something is not right – and the longer I serarch for answers – the more I think it is a plugin issue – and not what I have been led to believe is a server configuration issue….

I have Kadenace block on other sites – and I don’t have any issues – so I don’t know what miraculous combination I have on this website with this hosting – GoDaddy to cause this issue – but my other sites with Kadenace have no issues so far.

I updated the hosting package – and when it came back up I have had this problem – for over a week now. The last thing hosting says is to install via installatron and see what happens – wth? That’s not a solution.

When I try to go into the edit page, the descriptions are not available in the box labeled descriptions. I can’t click in the Description box to add anything. And what is written on the website as a description is no where on the back end page. I looked at the element template page and it shows the description written in a different location, but when I edit it nothing changes when I publish it. In the areas where I can add text, it does not appear on the page once published.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is a time sensitive project for very hard working individuals.

To make your image slider visible across all pages, you’ll need to ensure the slider code is included on every page template, not just the homepage. If you’re using a template like the Recipe Blog, check the header or footer section in your site’s code or theme settings. You might need to copy the slider code from the homepage template and add it to the other page templates. If you’re using a page builder, check if there’s a global setting for sliders that needs to be enabled.

Hey Kevin,

Welcome to Kadence Support.

Using a Row Layout Block with a 100% VH is a great way to approach this design. I have a few suggestions on how you can achieve your overall goal.

Are you using the Classic Kadence Customizer Header Builder? If you are, here is what you should do.
-Go to the Customizer -> Header settings and select the Gears Icon on the far left of your Main Header Row.
-Then, under the Min-Height Setting, you can set this to use a VH Value. For example 20VH.
-Once you have your desired VH selected for the Header Row, you can take into account that VH and adjust the Row Layout Accordingly.
Here is a GIF for reference: https://share.zight.com/rRudAEyo In this example, you would make the Row Layout Block use 80VH.

You should do this same process for your Footer. The Kadence Footer Customizer settings can be used the same way to set a Footer Min Height: https://share.zight.com/7KuwN2ge. So if you would of added, for example, a 10VH Footer, you would then take an additional 10VH off of the Row Layout Block, leaving you with a 70VW Row Layout Block.

Using these methods should help ensure you can fully dictate the 100%VH accordingly.

For your second question, consider providing a link to the page in question so I can look at the current design layout.
-What you can do is use a Section Block with a Min Height Applied to it.
-Inside that Section Block, add two more Nested Section Blocks.
-Then, in the Parent Section Block, use the Space Between Option
This would allow you to add an even spacing between Items. Please let me know if this is the kind of control you were looking for.)

Hi,

I feel like I am missing an easy step somewhere, but I cannot find an option to edit the thumbnails for the advanced gallery block. Some of the thumbnails are being cropped awkwardly and I’d like to adjust them. I cannot find the option in the Gallery Block or in the Media page. Any hints on this?

I see that you’re using a carousel on your homepage. You can add that same block to any other page on the site as well if you’d like, so that it displays as you want.

hello I have a problem with shortcodes. when I upload shortcodes to regular pages they are displayed. However, when I upload single posts to entries it does not display them. I tried to edit files such as entry.php etc.

I also changed the content display from this function do_action single post content to the_content() then the shortcodes are displayed but without the kadence classes and the entire content of the entry breaks because then it does not display kadence classes but only empty wordpress content
Can I ask for help?

Working on a new site for my wife’s music project.

Otherwise, this is introducing unnecessary scrolling. I want a static page that stretches to fill the browser size, and keeps the album artwork centered.

The second question is for the page with the 3 album artworks. The way I have this set up, I have the title bar set up as it’s own section, and the albums are in a row below. I’d love to have this row centered vertically between the bottom of the title bar and the bottom of the page. How can I accomplish this?

This just happened to me. Was editing one slide and changed the image. When I saved it, all slides at the top of home page went blank on my desktop Windows 11. But I can see the slides on my phone. But the last slide was the one before I changed the image. Strange. What is going on?

again, the problem only comes up, if im trying to call “Kandece Design Libary”, its loop loading.

Then if i try to edit/create a page, its white screen of death.

If delete the current version of Kadence Blocks “Plugin” and reinstall other version, its still works. I mean i can edit/create pages.

Hey Christine,

Thanks for the update. It looks like this CSS needs a slight modification to work this way. Instead of adding the 20px padding to all sides, this should work if you only add that padding to the right side of images.

I’ve tried all sorts of css to change the font for sub categories filter on a product category page. The font is much too light for (see screenshot) ALL, 50MM, 40MM, 1-1/4″. Is there code you can provide that will solve my issue to make this font bolder, size change etc.? Thank you.

I’m glad you reached out.

I had a look at the two links you provided and I’m seeing the navigation fonts the same. This is the style that both are using:

}

I attached screenshots of each page as well.

This does appear to be a caching issue so I would ensure that all caches have been cleared.

If what I’m seeing is not correct then please let me know and provide a screenshot of the correct font if possible.

Hi there,

The Populate With Parameter setting allows you to enter a parameter that can be used in the page URL to dynamically populate the hidden field.

For this scenario we will set the parameter to “inquirytype”.

For example if you have an inquiry from Facebook we can assign a value for that as “fb” and an inquiry from Google as “google”.

Let us say your Adv form can be found on this link: http://www.myadvform.com/superform

If we set the parameter to “inquirytype”, then on Facebook we use this link to redirect inquiry instead: http://www.myadvform.com/superform?inquirytype=fb

If it is from Google, we can use the redirect link to this instead: http://www.myadvform.com/superform?inquirytype=google

This is assuming you control the inquiry links coming from Facebook and Google.
