Hello,

Is there a way to style the title of individual pages? I need to add a margin to the title only on some pages but not all. I could do this with a child theme and a custom page template or a whole bunch of not:(page) css but I thought I would check to see that it isn’t hidden somewhere in the Kadence theme customizer. Along the same lines, is there a way to add a body class to a page?

I have worked with the legacy themes for years but the Kadence theme is new to me—it’s pretty amazing! And the starter templates have been very useful.

Hi
I added the CSS as advised and it has solved the problem of the text muddling up that I was experiencing, but it has thrown up another problem. When I use your CSS, the button on the page does not work. It doesn’t change colour on hover and it doesn’t open the link it should. I have commented the CSS out and the button works. I have left it commented out for the moment as I want the link to work while I am getting it sorted.

Hi,

I am hoping you can help me with a few things.

Custom Post Types

I am using Pods to create CPT. I am trying to edit the Archive page template but am having a few issues.

I have created this search archive template using the Search and Filter Results page – link is in the next email. I would like to try and get the Home Design CPT Archive page to display like this.

On the Home Design Archive page I need to:

1. Change the Read More text to View Home Design
2. I am trying to show the Category but for some reason even though I have it turned on in the Meta it is not returning a value. All the other meta works just not the category. I had to add some code in the functions to get each of the Home Design Category pages to populate so not sure if that needs to be edited for this?
3. To display the 4 icons and text I have created an element and then put the shortcode into the excerpt. Is there a better way to do this can I use an existing hook for this so I don’t need to add it into all the home design excerpts? I am not that crash hot on creating archive post templates through pods so I am trying to get things to work as best I can.

Header

The client would like the header to have two nav bars underneath each other.

There are other sites where I have found this would be useful if the logo could merge all 3 rows of the first column and then the other columns stay as normal. Kind of like in the footer how you have the Column Direction I think that would be great to have in the header as well.

I have the two nav bars under each other with a top margin at -20px but it’s not really sitting right. Any ideas on how I can get this to sit a bit better?

I have a javascript error (slick-min.js).
The page loading fails after the first paint. 
The problem looks to happen only when there is a gallery with only one image.

I found a similar problem on the forum, but with a different Kadence plugin: *Login to see link

Basic Troubleshooting:
1. We are using the latest version of Kadence product and WordPress. All plugins/theme are up-to-date.
2. I have tested with all plugins deactivated and also with Ascend default theme (Child theme disabled).
3. I did review the Frequently Asked Questions area.

Currently in Ascend Theme Woocommerce category pages, the image and title link to the product page, but the price isn’t linked.

Hello Ben,

What I meant was my shop pages (product catalog pages) have e.g. different background color than taxonomy pages and they should look the same (with light gray background color). Taxonomy pages background is white while shop pages are light gray. And previously you’ve said that all these pages use the same layout and should be customized as Product catalog. Unfortunately it doesn’t work like that in my theme. Please find printscreens attached.

Hey,
The archive pages won’t take on the design from your single block. You need to customize the design of the archives which can be done from Customize > Blog Posts > Archive Layout > General and there you can set the Post Archive Columns.

Hope you enjoyed your weekend! I’m seeing the site background and content background colors as white. You can set the content background color from Customize > Page Layout > Design > Content Background. Does this setting work for you?

Hi! I always set a feature image for posts, and when I use a carousel or blog post tool it works fine and pulls the appropriate image. But when I share a link it just shows my logo. Is there a way to make my links display the featured image of the post/page? Here is an example below. The kevinheslinphoto link is mine:

Hi,

Is there a way to set the page title to be the same max-width as the Page Layout. There’s no page level setting to change this and if a page is set to be contained or full width, one of those Layouts will not match an above content Title layout max-width as the title layout width can only be set globally in theme settings.

Most of our pages will be set to 1440 so we have set the title layout width in theme settings to this. However on full width page the title width doesn’t go to the edge so it looks odd. Is there a way with CSS to detect if the page settings are full-width so that we can then set the Title max-width to this or is there a Max-width variable that can be used in css?

So, I am trying the Form block for the first time. Here is the page: *Login to see link

In the old form, it saved the submissions to Feedback. Does this not do the same? Or is the Feedback part of another plugin?

Also, is there a setting to change the label for when I receive the email? Right now it defaults to [Website Name Submission]. I would like to customize it but can’t find where.
