Hey, maybe what I did is not the best solution but I don’t think it’s normal behavior. I probably didn’t explain the issue well so I’ll add more detail.
Before making the change, when I click into variance selection on a product page and make a selection, the page no longer stays in the viewport. It’s wider than full width, I can move it left and right with my thumb, and I need to manually resize it back down to be able to view the whole page. The same thing happens in the cart page. I go to shipping and go into one of the fields to add in a zip code or city or change the state, and then go back to the page and it’s now wider than full width and I can’t see it all, I can move the whole page around with my thumb left to right out of the viewport entirely, etc.
I just tried a few ecom sites and they dont do this. And based on prior experience, other sites dont do this either, because it makes it very difficult to use on the phone.Does what I’m saying make more sense now?
In forum: Membership ForumsIn reply to: Windows update problem with one website layout
This is how homepage should be seen in Chrome. Screenshot is from Firefox for both. One shows homepage that is correct layout. Yet, the blog page in Firefox does not show blog article list. The list is seen in Chrome under the spread out header and bulleted menu. I am concerned that lots of things are messed up from this Windows update for more than Chrome.
Another issue in Firefox just saw on homepage, the slideshow is gone and images are separated in vertical column. On Chrome under the spread out header and bulleted menus the slideshow is there. Hope you can help me fix this.

FYI:
Viewport was breaking (getting bigger) on iPhones in Chrome/Safari when toggling options or filling fields on Woocommerce product and cart pages (probably checkout too). Product variations, city, zip, etc.
We added <meta name=”viewport” content=”width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0, maximum-scale=1.0, user-scalable=no” /> to header.php but it was getting overwritten by theme. So copied the file to child and added it there. This fixed the issue, but would be good for you to fix it.In forum: Membership ForumsWindows 10 was updated tonight and seemed to have messed up Chrome browser for one of my websites. Here’s a screenshot of the nav bar/header results. It spread out the header and shifted menu to the side as a bulleted list. Content is also messed up and hiding under header and stretched nav bar.
This is the only website that has this problem in Chrome. Everything works fine in all browsers.
This is the message I got for settings:
An App default was reset
An app caused a problem with the default app setting for .html files, so it was reset to Microsoft Edge.Same message of .htm files.
Any ideas on solution. The browser default app is Chrome. I prefer to use Chrome over the others if at all possible. It just seems weird that this is the only website that it happened to.
Hi
I’m using this to target the home page and individual pages/posts with a body background image:
body.home {
background-image:url(*Login to see link
background-position: center bottom;
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-attachment: fixed;
background-size: cover;
}body.page-id-328
{
background-image:url(*Login to see link
background-repeat:no-repeat;
background-attachment:fixed;
background-size: cover;
}My header, topbar, footer, body have been set to transparent in theme options > advanced styling.
(Using a tiled image instead of background colours in these areas)The images aren’t showing on the pages:

Thanks

October 31, 2020 at 2:47 pm #259899Hi,
I am trying to design how the categories look on the shop page (*Login to see link However, when I make a change to the category container it also changes the images in the carousel on the home page. The carousel has featured items in it.
I tried to remove the Woocommerce categories and products from my shop page and only have it display the widget items I can edit in the Page using Page Builder but this removed the categories from the sidebar. Arrggh!
I do not mind how this is done but I would like to design the shop page differently without affecting how the carousel looks as the end result.
I hope this makes sense.
Thanks,
Emma
In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: IMages in Home Page Blog
Hi Hannah and thanks for your reply.
Well in my home page settings I am displaying blog posts, and in the Home Blog Settings the only options are how many posts, how many columns and excerpt length. In that section there is nothing to suggest that blog posts on the home page can be anything but snippets.
In Blog Options (which I think you are referring to) I have “Blog Category/Archive Defaults” set to display Full Post in the “Category Display Type” but that doesn’t seem to affect the home page, and based on the above I don’t think I would expect it to.
I can’t help but feel it can’t be done, but if it can somehow it would make me very happy 🙂
Kind regards

In forum: Membership ForumsIn reply to: Woo Extra Global Tabs
Hello,
Thanks for reaching back to us.
The Woo Extras plugin does not have any option to disable the default WooCommerce product tabs. It can only add additional tabs for the products. If you want to remove the default product tabs, you’ll have to use a child theme and add the hook from this page on your child theme’s functions.php file.
Are you using a plugin to use product brands? I think the Brand tab is not a default WooCommerce tab, it is being added by a plugin. I would suggest getting in touch with that plugin’s support to see if there is an option to remove that on the single product pages.
Hope this helps and let us know if we can assist you further.

In forum: Kadence BlocksIn reply to: Blocks Defaults
Hello Zohar,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
The block defaults are tied to the Kadence blocks that you include on your page editor(Gutenberg)/builder. There is no way to set/show them using a code/shortcode.
Hope this helps and let us know if we can assist you further.

Hello Pamela,
Thanks for reaching out to us and sorry to hear you’re having this issue.
Upon checking on your website’s backend, there are a couple of 500 errors, which basically is an internal server error. I am wondering why your hosting provider mentioned that it is the theme. Please could you do these additional steps to debug the issue:
- Deactivate your plugins one by one and reload your theme options page after each deactivation to see if the options will save and to pinpoint which plugin may be causing the issue.
- Have a back up of your website and try deleting your theme and re-installing it again(please only do this if it turns out the issue is not being caused by a plugin).
- Try to reach out to your hosting provider again and show them the errors from the browser’s console
Hope this helps and let us know if we can assist you further.

KarlaIn forum: Kadence BlocksOctober 30, 2020 at 8:00 am #259845Hi Jon,
nice idea! Hope it is ok when I add my thoughts too.
WP Stackable have a more consistent way to design for desktop, tablet and mobile.
At the top of each blocks are the Icons for Desktop, Tablet and Mobile. And when you for example click on the tablet or mobile icon, only the fields and values for tablet or mobile view showing up and the page on left the site is shown in tablet or mobile preview.
At the moment in kadence blocks you can find the responsive toggles on different positions and for different elements in one block: next to margin/ padding, next to title, next to text etc. and you have to click and style all seperate.
Yust my 2 cents to make it more user friendly.
