Upgraded to WordPress 5.5..
Using the Ascend Theme Pro…
Added a new page and changed the theme to landing page
Added two differnt Site Orgin rows and filled them with widgets.
Had some error on the SiteOrgin Image widget.
It wanted me to install the widget pack.
Once installed the image widget didn’t work.Saved the page
Exited the pageRe-edit the page and get nothing but the errors in the screen print below.
This is the second time this has happened.
Any ideas if there is a larger problem here? How can I get back to the visual interface?

This is just a generalised low-priority question….
I have completed the layout of a categorised logo display page which uses a 3 column Row Layout block for each row and and advanced heading for each Logo Category title. It took a lot of tweaking of individual column bottom-margins for mobile layout and some tweaking of Row Layout padding to ensure all the gaps between logos and headers were symmetrical, particularly for mobile. I couldn’t just set same gutter for desktop and different gutter for mobile which would have been gloriously simple as the end gutter (where empty columns were hidden on mobile) cause spacing variations. Is there a way to instruct it to hide the gutter on mobile if the column is being hidden also? << this would have made it much easier to layout.
The other issue I encountered is that I would have liked to have had each logo/brand-text column in it’s own single column row layout but I found it near impossible to get all the symmetrical spacing across devices as i have it now. I think the overheads of all the additional settings, if it was even possible would have negated the small advantage in having a bit more control of exactly where the logo and the text floated.
For a website builder, this level of tweaking is fine but trying to explain to a customer how to add more logos with all the exceptions to the layout settings would be near impossible. So I was hoping you would be so kind as to take a quick peak and see if you feel there was some easy to achieve the same result as I have now?

I am using Virtue Premium on http://www.tarotreadinglondon.com and have a number of pages password protected all with the same paassword.
When entering the password in with a ‘clean’ browser, I’m redirected to a v2 Captcha which then forwards to a blank white page. By hitting Back twice, and re-entering the password, I can get access. This is a repeatable thing across multiple browsers.
However once logged in and presumably a cookie set, on subsequent occasions access is straightforward.

Hi Chris,
I just tried several trouble-shooting experiments.
1. I input a single video url using the code you mentioned above, with the /kad end code. It worked! This is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67mqFfqXh6k
2. I used the same link with the built in Virtue Shortcode for youtube videos. This does not include the /kad end code. But this also worked!
This leads me to conclude that there is something wrong with Youtube playlist links. This is what I am trying to embed on my pages, and which up until now has worked for a couple of years. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLWWdzbBFhGkwUP7Gl2koohKqHdqJJA3Qq
I would like to direct readers to a playlist of videos that I have compiled, thus the link to a youtube playlist.
I wonder if there is a way to link a playlist using the Virtue Shortcode?

In forum: Virtue ThemeNothing in the theme would do that, sounds like a plugin but could be something you are adding into a widget if it’s only happening on the widgets page.
If you can send a temp login I would be happy to take a look.

Hello!
I am having an issue with the widget page in the wordpress admin. It is marked as non secure, and that seems to lead to not possible to make any changes what so ever in the widgets.
I have deactivated all my plugins one by one to see if there are any conflicts, but didn’t find any conflict.
Is this a problem could have been caused by the virtue template? Or do you have any other ideas?

In forum: Kadence ThemeI’m using the Kadence Theme with Pro Add-on and the Woocommerce Extras plugin. I have also enabled the Product Slider Gallery. The issue I’m having is that the thumbnail arrows appear on top of the sticky header when I scroll down the page. I would expect them to go behind it like everything else. This is also true if I put “slide arrows” on the product image. I’m not sure if this is a bug or if I’m missing something obvious.
A bonus question: Is there a way to turn off the “voting” (thumbs up/down) option for Advanced reviews?

Well I haven’t started building it yet, but I have tried before. I just want the content of a single row to fill the user’s screen. There’s not much to look at on my pages that don’t work. Ideally I could set the first row to be dynamically as “high” as the screen, and lock, and when the user scrolls, it just scrolls on by normally.
My row would have an image widget, some text, and some buttons.

I’m not sure why it would be taking a couple of tabs unless you are trying to click while the browser is pulled into full height and the first tap would being the navigation back into the page?
Safari doesn’t yet support Smooth behavior for the native scroll to and I didn’t want to add a polyfil which would increase the js size. But perhaps I should.

Thanks!In forum: Virtue ThemeIf you take a peek at THIS PAGE you’ll see I’ve been able to remove the SKU field as they don’t care to use it, but I’ve not been able to figure out how to make the Category text and link bigger and perhaps darker. Is there custom CSS to accomplish this? That’s how I got rid of the SKU and I definitely can’t find a setting anywhere for this.

Another option just so you know is to make your home page a static page. Then you can add whatever content you want into the page include posts if you like through the posts block.

Thank you for that information. I would try revoking the key and providing a new key. From there that SHOULD fix the location. If it doesn’t, you can certainly report a map error to Google from the bottom right of the map on the page.
An additional suggestion would be to disable plugins to see if that clears up the issue with the map not working correctly, but I would start with the API key itself.
