Hi there,
I m trying to customize the portfolio page, but all the options as perr the tutirial is not available. Please help. I attached thee screenshot of what is available, which is less ha half the options shown on the tutorial page.

In forum: Ascend ThemeHi, I added Animated Typed Text but everything under it is jittering up and down while the 4 lines are actively typing (I do not have it set to “loop”, so the jittering stops once the 4th line completes), and it’s making the lower content hard to read. Any idea what I might have done wrong? I added it via Page Builder, and added the shortcode to a text block (see screen capture to help clarify).
Here is where you can see the shortcode in action – look at the text/images on the webpage below it to see how it moves up and down a few pixels. It really messed with your eyes! 🙂

I need help with a longstanding problem I can’t fix and I can’t get someone to assist me.
I don’t have any products on my site that I am aware of but still on the 404 errors it shows products
See print screenWhen I first downloaded the Theme I automatically downloaded the shop pages with products but later removed them – they must still be somewhere where I can’t find them. Woocommerce is disabled – but I’ve seen woocommerce info in the archives when I went into Appearance< template editor – I battle to find those items for months now without any success.

When editing your page builder row if you open the Layout tab you’ll see an option to set the Collapse Behaviour to “No Collapse”.

I have a related question – I have got myself in a bit of a muddle! I downloaded the Virtue demo over my existing site. I thought I would be able to clean things up and I would learn more about the workings as I did so but it doesn’t seem so easy! At the moment when I edit in elementor some of the stuff I see on the editting panel I don’t see on the test site – examples include my call to action and a video that I have on the home page. Instead I see the demo call to action only. Also, I can’t see how to update the footer information to remobe the demo content.
Sorry to be a pain, I appreciate I have complicated everything, can you help? My test site that I am working from is houndsconnect.dreamhosters.com

after 2 days working on updating our website, I am facing 2 issues, that I haven’t solved yet, so I’ve decided to ask here for help.
1. I want to change my website to a complete fullwidth homepage.
The challenge I face is the header. I want to make it fullwidth with Logo, Menu and Social Icons (right now using topbar), and an thumbnail image to register to newsletter. Somehow like hereDo I need to add a script in header and footer script section?
2. How do I write text and btton over the home slider, like in this example?
I haven’t figure that out yet

I’m working on updating my portfolio and came across this problem. I’m using the Grid without margin between option. When I hover over each project, the green overlay comes up and the title, which should be in the center, appears at the bottom right. Interestingly, when I go into Customize mode (I did this to see if my custom CSS was interfering, which it wasn’t), it looks correct.
Thanks in advance for your assistance on getting this fixed.

Recently I had the issue of many plugins and Virtue theme updating a couple of days before polylang plugin updates. Resulting in my english products, contact, directions about and search pages all from my static home page had returned a 404 not found, temporarily.
Google search console then sent out an email warning of: those same 5 pages with a soft 404. I thought it was related to the temporary plugin issue, since the french pages had no errors, but it turns out that some of the errors were older. I read that soft 404 errors could be caused by caching issues and installed a recommended plugin; WP Super Cache plugin (I hope I am using it correctly).
Today after URL inspection of such pages, I requested an index of these pages and I got strange results.
finally validates as indexed but google console says that its not mobile friendly due to; text too small to read and clickable elements are too close together.
But the french page is almost identical and validates with no issues!
Should I just ignore this as I re-verified another page URL that was giving mobile errors in the console, now shows no errors from URL inspection!
I am wondering how long does it take for the soft 404 errors to be removed from the Coverage page on google console?
Also there are some errors reported with my XML sitemap. Is there is something I need to do with my XML sitemap and if so how do I update it? I will upload those results.

Hi Hannah,
Sorry for the delay – site is now live.
The problem seems to be confined to products because the content is much shorter for products. So we need to stretch the page so that the footer is at the bottom of the screen.At the moment it is nearly there but the bottom of the footer is just off the bottom of the screen. I have tried to modify the padding in the css but have been unable to fix it.
As a separate problem, (do I need a new ticket?) there is a 1px line of background at the bottom of the full-screen slider on the home page. Please could you advise how to remove this?

You linked to a static home page that is not actually your front page? Looks like you have your front page set as your shop page. The shop template will override your homepage layout options (theme options > home layout). Does that make sense?Hannah

I know I shouldn’t jump into a thread but wanted to let you know I have seen this a few times. I don’t know which page builder Jenny is using but I generally use SiteOrigin. I have to deactivate Yoast so I can edit the page and then when I am done I turn Yoast back on.
I keep forgetting to let you know.

Hey Joanne,
You can definitely do a lot using Virtue Premium and we would be happy to help you get any specifics you’re wanting. And if you decide to try out Kadence Theme we would be happy to give some guidance there too.
For your home slider, you can disable this from Theme Options > Home Slider. For similar effects to what is shown on the Kadence WP homepage I suggest setting your homepage as a static page (from Settings > Reading) and using the block editor and Kadence Blocks to add content.

Sorry, I think I misunderstood you.
it always drops off the bottom of the page
Do you mean that you are losing part of the footer? You can increase the padding-bottom value in the css you’re adding. Does that make a difference? Your site is in maintenance mode so I’m no longer able to access it.

I have decided to take the opportunity to redevelop my website while we are in lockdown here in the UK and I am looking for some help. I want to change my homepage from a slider to a static header, and reproduce some of the features you show on your own home page kadencewp.com, but I can’t see how to do it. Is it possible with Virtue? Or is my better option to go with your latest Next Generation Theme?My site is http://www.houndsconnect.co.uk but I am going for a major overhaul of the layout so probably not that relevant

If you refresh any page, the main menu from the top and the top bar are seen for a second but are hiding and are no more visible.
This is seems to me to happen after the last update of WordPress.
I see that the main menu and top bar are seen on the phone, but not on the desktop computer.
What can I do?
