    yes, thank you Hannah, i figured out that if i use a kadence woo product template for the product page, i can only edit that content by editing the template (not the page builder elementor). and if i want to edit specific product information, i just do that there in word. i was trying to edit certain product info in the wrong place, but figured it out. 🙂 Thx! and have a great day!!

    Hey,
    They use a lot of javascript that loads after the page load, trigger the video type stuff that is harder for the browser to prevent/manipulate.

    But it’s worth noting that browser have specific rules for big-name websites, meaning there are rules built-in for video sites like youtube, and news sites like CNN. The whole point is user expectation, browser try to prevent abuse and auto-playing on load videos on a website that isn’t a video-specific site is considered by many to be obnoxious. Browser want to give users control so they keep using their browser which means trying to be as smart about it as possible and prevent the obnoxious.

    Also worth noting that for many people setting autoplay to true on your site is enough, because of browser choice and browser preference. But you just have to be aware that it may not autoplay and for mobile, it almost certainly will not.

    I’ve played around with the different javascript for this for background videos and it really comes down to the mute the vast majority of desktop browsers will allow autoplay if the video is muted.

    Final note, your video autoplays for me 🙂

    Hey,
    Sounds like you just need to go to woocommerce > status > tools and click on regenerate lookup products. That will rebuild the database with what products are out of stock and remove them from the queries.

    You can go into the woocommerce settings > products > inventory and select that your out of stock items still be visible on your shop page.

    Hey,
    Looks like a conflict with Kadence Page Transitions, I’ll look into adding an update for that plugin.

    Hey,
    If it’s your homepage you can use the id “.home”. Like this:

    .home .flex-control-nav, .flex-direction-nav {
    display:none;
    }

    Hope that helps! If not, please post a link.

    FWIW, I just noticed that when I do a “Preview Changes” on this page, the video does autoplay. When I save the page and view it with a browser, either Firefox or Chrome, it does not. No idea if that helps.

    When items go “out of stock” with no backorders allowed, the category pages do not collapse uniformly. Initially 16 products may cover 2 pages – 12 and 4 on pages 1 and 2, respectively. When 7 products are sold out of stock you would expect a single page display with the remaining 9 items.

    Not the case – still 2 pages with say 6 on the first page and 3 on the second. A shopper might think only 6 are left on the shortened first page.

    Why does this page behavior exist, can it be corrected? Is an option to show the item as SOLD, but keep the listing visible until it can be replaced by a new available product. How could this be done?

    Hey Sarah,
    We are hoping to add more Gutenberg demos soon! Unfortunately, you cannot switch back and forth between editors. So pages that were built using page builder by siteorigin (like the demo pages) have to stay in page builder. Because Gutenberg is the new default editor your pages will resort to that once moved out of siteorigin unless you have the classic editor plugin installed.
    We would be happy to help you re-create any pages you’re wanting. If you are working in the Gutenberg editor you can actually find prebuilt layouts in the Row Layout block from Kadence Blocks. https://www.kadenceblocks.com/row-layout-block/
    Let me know how I can help!

    Hi

    could you show me how to add a page id target to this css snippet:

    .flex-control-nav, .flex-direction-nav {
    display:none;
    }

    I’m using this shortcode on the homepage:

    [gallery columns="1" size="full" type="slider" width="1600" height="900" ids="152,153,154,155,157,158,160,161,54401,161,54401,161,54401,161,54401,54401,54401,54401,54401" link="file" caption="default" masonry="default" transpeed="0" speed=1000]

    it works, but want to loose the nav arrows and dots

    Oh, there’s your problem. You need to leave the Post Page blank from Settings > Reading. It will override the blog options from the blog template. Setting that blank should fix this for you.

    Hello
    Just a quick question, what do I need to do to force the shop category page to show all the products in a list instead of grid view when viewing on a mobile or small screen. Ideally the option for grid or list view would be hidden as they look best in a list and the option just makes the page cluttered.
    Hope you can help. Im sure its straight forward.
    Thank very much

    Hi

    Just bought Kadence Blocks Pro and started to build stuff. On my first page, I run into a few problems as some block layouts break on my site.

    – I made a live demo of the problems here:
    – Attached screenshots.
    – Setting: WooCommerce 4.01, WordPress 5.4, Storefront-theme v. 2.5.5.
    – Tested on Edge and Chrome on Win10 (and Twentytwenty-theme).

    Problem 1: ROW LAYOUT BLOCK
    This problem is seen on Tablet layout on Twentytwenty and Storefront themes.

    Problem: when having 2-column row set to collapse to 1-column on tablet and mobile and collapse order set to right-to-left, the first column flows under the content below and above in tablet.

    Problem 2: PRODUCT CAROUSEL BLOCK
    This problem is seen on Desktop and Tablet layouts on Storefront theme. Works as intended in Twentytwenty and in Storefront mobile.

    With the Storefront theme (and the child theme I’m using) the Product Carousel Block sets too tiny width to slides in desktop and this messes up the layout. The wrong width seems to be injected as inline CSS so I don’t know where the problem is.

    Where could I begin to fix these? Are some of my block settings wrong? Is it theme/plugin conflict?

    The Product carousel problems are more relevant, as I already use the block (and hide it on desktop). Thank you for your help.

    I’m using virtue premium and woo elementor working on archive page. I made a template then created a new page, applied the template and it barely looked like the template. Made some adjustments to make it look like the template as shown in the first image, but when i view the page, it looks like the second image. The note in upper left of first image indicates it might be theme related. A little help pls? Thanks!

    hey there,

    I used the demo version. Unfortunately, it still worked with the old system of page builder. I did not know how to change that. Somehow, on the posts, it changed by itself to the new gutenberg page builder.

    When I worked on the home page and I reverted from the old page builder to editor, the content was still there, but not shown on the website. Now, it changed to gutenberg by itself and all the content is gone.

    thank you in advance.

    Oh ok, I don’t see why the “Archiv” page has the blog template when in the WordPress “Read” options the “Aktuelles” page is assigned as the blog page. The “Aktuelles” page is where I would like to see the blog template and blog list options. Could you please take another look or let me know how I can change this? Thanks!

    Thank you very much – if worked! 🙂
    There seems to be 1 problem though: The widget “Virtue:Bild Menü Element” doesn’t show anymore. Do you know if there’s an issue with the widget, should I use another one? You find an example here on the homepage (underneath “Unsere Produkte”: https://www.obstgut-auf-der-heide.de
