In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Need sidebar on right on product page
In forum: Virtue ThemeHello Guys, I’ve searched for this, no luck, all the matches are for the Ascend theme.
How can I move the sidebar1 sidebar on the product page to the right?
The Virtue settings product page doesn’t give that option that I can see.
And at the moment where it is on the left, it is restricting the main product image to a smaller size than set. leaving empty space to the far right. Also, is there any way of getting the woocommerce product page slider to actually slide? I’ve tried a few plugins and they are all inadequate. I’m presuming I’ll have to buy a plugin dedicated just to this purpose?
Thanks for your help, John
In forum: Ascend ThemeHello,
I am renewing my site using Ascend premium theme and demo content here: *Login to see link
Is there a way to horizontally align the logo on the left with the menu items on the right?
Also how to affect the mobile breaking point, I’d like to show mobile menu with the hamburger at say 600 px only?
I have a problem with Loco translate, the translations look as if they are in place in the plug in, but not on the page. The plug in says “Error: Translation set not known in Ascend – Premium” I did manage to translate some things, but cannot get into the “Previous project” / “Next project”.
I found a mis-spelled tag, it’s in the pic, just to let you know,
thank you,
UllaIn forum: Ascend ThemeHi,
Today is the first time in several months that I have needed to install the Ascend Premium theme. I am working with a fresh install of WordPress 5.3.2 and a fresh install of Ascend Premium 1.9.9 which I just downloaded from the downloads area of my account. I was successfully able to activate the license and have been able to successfully install and activate the Page Builder by SiteOrigin. I have also been able to successfully install the wpforms and Yoast SEO plugins. When I go to the Bundled Plugins page to install Kadence Slider Pro, Kadence Blocks Pro and Kadence reCAPTCHA it shows Installing then Activating then just shows Error in the button. The same thing happens when I try to install the Importer from the Dashboard tab. I need to be able to import one of the demo sites to start off this website. I have enabled Debugging and the Debug Log in WordPress, but no error is displayed on the screen and no debug.log file is created so I can’t get any indication of what is causing the error. Any assistance in getting these plugins installed, and the imported installed so I can import demo content would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ben,
Your last message reached me fine but the others before didn’t reach me – spam folder etc included.
Your suggestions worked a treat – turning off the tablet view in pagebuilder settings, so thank you again for your assistance! Much appreciated.
Best wishes,
Andrew.
March 13, 2020 at 3:14 am #246122Morning,
I want to use Kadence Woocommerce Elementor Pro to build a customised checkout page.
I use the WooCommerce Subscriptions extension. For every subscription product, I get the following warning on my checkout page built with Kadence Woocommerce Elementor Pro:Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach()
This is the code that is invalid when using Kadence:
foreach ( WC()->cart->recurring_carts as $recurring_cart_key => $recurring_cart )When I deactivate Kadence Woocommerce Elementor Pro and use the standard WooCommerce checkout, the checkout works fine.
Any idea what’s causing this warning?
Thanks
In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Home page video speed
Hey Cecilia,
When adding your video via youtube link it shouldn’t be slowing down your website. When the video is not loading do you still have issues with page speed? This post may be helpful: https://www.kadencewp.com/blog/need-for-speed/Hannah
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Hide header and footer on front/landing page
So you can’t actually use a page template on the homepage as it will automatically be overridden by the homepage template. You can hide the header from the homepage with this css:
.home div#kad-banner-sticky-wrapper { display: none; } .home #pg-163-0> .panel-row-style { padding-top: 0; }Just paste that into your custom css box in Theme Options > Custom CSS.
Hope it helps!Hannah
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Enter price EXCLUDING TAX but display INCLUDING TAX
Thanks Hannah,
This is exactly what I am doing and that is the reason I am contacting you.
Basically whatever price I put in variations is what is shown in the shop and the item.
However, when an item is selected at the item page to be put in the basket then it ads the TAX.Can I send you credentials to our website so you can see for yourself?
Thanks-

a). There isn’t a kadence slider block. You would need to create your slider from the Kadence Slider tab in your admin panel, then add the slider shortcode to a shortcode block. Or if you’re wanting the Kadence Slider in your header (behind the page title) you would add this to Post Title and Subtitle options in the shortcode override tab.
b). The post head content is different from page title. You can set default settings for this from Theme Options > Blog Settings.
If you’re wanting to enable the page title background for our posts you can do this by defauly in Theme Options > Blog Settings, or post by post in the post edit page under Post Title and Subtitle. That will get you a look like this: http://themes.kadencethemes.com/ascend-premium-2/have-less-do-more-be-more/
Is that what you’re wanting? You can use both Kadence and WordPress blocks in any page/post.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Custom 404 Page
March 12, 2020 at 2:43 pm #246098Hey,
1.
An incorrect URL typed into the address bar used to redirect to http://www.domain.com/”ChosenCustom404Permanlink” – whereas now it directs to http://www.domain.com/”TheWronglyTypedInURL”.
The custom 404 page would have always left the permalink alone, you don’t get redirected when navigating to a wrong url you are just shown the 404 content (that URL doesn’t exist). This is really helpful if someone is trying to manually go to a page because it gives them a chance to edit a typo in the URL, instead of being at a whole new url of your choosing that has nothing to do with what the user was looking for.
Either way, it would have take a plugin not from us for your 404 pages to redirect.
2.
I set your page defaults to no sidebar which removed that.Ben
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Plain old text box.
Sorry, I was confused with the icon menu. What you could do is enable the home widget area in the homepage layout manager, then add virtue: info box widgets from Appearance > Widgets. Or, if you’re setting your homepage as a static page from Settings > Reading and you’re using the block editor, you can add a row layout block with multiple columns then add a border around each column.

In forum: Ascend ThemeTopic: Slider Image in Header
March 12, 2020 at 7:15 am #246081Hey Hannah,
Where do I find the shortcode for the following “Override and use a Shortcode Slider” as you’ve mentioned previously (see below), the slider must replace the header image and I want it full width?
If you’re wanting the slider images to show in the header I would actually suggest creating a Kadence slider for your posts. Then paste the Kadence slider shortcode into the “Override and use a Shortcode Slider” output under Post Title and Subtitle in your post edit page.
thanks in advance
