I Have created a user with his profile page.
In his post, there is the link to this profile in breadcrumbs but it doesn’t go to the right profile but to the home page, the link looks fine.

Is there something that I am missing?

Ok, so “Blog Post Sidebar Default” is “primary sidebar” and on pages I can decide which sidebar I wouuld like to use: the same as on blog page (“primary sideabar”) or “sidebar 1”. Am I right?

You’ll see that I created drop-downs (submenus) for three of my menu choices – “Land Conservation”, “Donate” and “Events”. The problem is with the highlighting of the drop-down choices on my “Events” menu. I can not highlight the second choice without highlighting the first choices. My other menu drop-downs (“Land Conservation” and “donate”) do not work this way. I can highlight each choice individually, which is how I want it. I’m thinking that I’ve forgotten a necessary step since I created the drop-downs correctly before. I hope you can help. My website is http://www.plcnh.org

I tried it with pages and have set “single portfolio naviagtion options to “mijn-portfolio”:

1. Page: ‘Mijn portfolio’: Here I will set a menu for the categories, only one choice now.
2. When hyou click on a menu item you are send to a portfolio-type. Here you can still see that the blog is in the breadcrumbs…
3. When you click on one of the posts you will see that the blog is still in the breadcrumbs..

Cannot figure out how to get the blog page out of the breadcrumbs of the portfolio-type pages and the porfolio posts.

Hey,

1. “I would like to see that it is still filtered.” – Then you need to use a menu and not a filter, a menu is going to send the users to a new url and then when they come back that will come back to that subgroup. A filter is only to change the way the current content of the page appears while on the page.

2. In your theme options > portfolio options scroll down to “Single Portfolio Navigation Options” there select the correct page for “All Projects Default Portfolio Page”

Hi Hannah… it might be a different number depending on page I create but for this I chose 4 in Elementor..

I have cleared cache and same issue…

Elementor replied saying:

The image resolution or size for the products cannot be controlled from elementor…

from thumbnail width check that… it is set correctly…

Elementor basically uses the core media library of wordpress and simply follows the standard image sizes of woocmmerce and just embeds them. If you would disable elementor pro you would still face the same issue.

Now when I disable Ascend and goto TwentyNineteen everything displays perfectly in 4 columns and changes for mobile but please see images of difference.

wwhen using Ascend the image filename of each image seems to not be the 300 x 300 one and are all different for eg:

BUT when using TwentyNineteen the image address is: https://trickstore.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/66561-full-300×300.jpg

So the theme must be making some sort of changes to the layout or code.

yes, thanks that’s what I was looking for.

I’ve now turned all animations off, however its still a little jerky revealing that second row (if the row elements have not yet been cached in the browser) – maybe an issue with page builder

Sorry, I couldn’t just leave the site in a broken state for 3 days. I had to remove the conflict so that I could continue getting the site ready for my client.

I deactivated the table plugin, deleted that shortcode from the page, re-activated that plugin, and made a new table to use.

I don’t know why the error is inconsistent.

From each of your edit pages you’ll see an option to turn your sidebar on or off and you’ll also see an option to select a sidebar. This can also be selected throughout your theme options where you have sidebar options.

I’m seeing a notice on your page saying that Stripe is being loaded twice on the page. Try deactivating your stripe plugin to test if that is conflicting. Let me know if there’s no change.

Sorry for the delay!
1. The Kadence Slider allows you to add a background video simply by adding in the video id. I believe embedding a video will require that the user click play. But you can a video embed code into the allotted tab in Theme Options > Home Slider when Video is selected from the Choose a Home Image Slider dropdown.

2. The Kadence Slider does not have that feature, but the revolution slider does… https://www.themepunch.com/revsliderjquery-doc/ken-burns-effect/

3. You can set up your homepage background from Theme Options > Home Slider. Our other themes have default page title background settings, but Virtue is not set up that way. You would need to use the feature page template on your pages, but there isn’t a function to enable that by default.

I’m working on the homepage for this website, and if you scroll down toward the bottom, you’ll see that both the Latest Posts module (look for the header “New Words”) and the Home Widget Area run all the way to the edge of the screen — there’s no margin on either side, meaning that text and headlines bump right up against the edge.

Is this the way it is supposed to look, or should I be looking for a bug? Or a setting I’m missing? I just need 10-20px of white space on either side of those modules, which I might be able to get using CSS, but I wanted to check here first to see whether there’s something uniquely buggy going on on this site. Thanks!

Sure…here you go:

You’ll find several drop caps on this page. All of them descend four lines. I am just wondering whether there is a way, by CSS or a setting, to make them drop 2 or 3 lines instead…otherwise they look goofy if the paragraph is less than four lines.

How can I remove the Virtue shortcode tab/button on product pages on backend? I have a marketplace and when vendors signin, on their new product pages that they are creating, the Virtue shortcode tab/button is showing up. Which they don’t need to see. Thanks for any advice.
