In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: portfolio grid padding…
In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Display lightbox link in grid
Hi Sasha,
Your second link is to a portfolio post page, not a portfolio archive page. The gallery you’re adding to your portfolio post will open in a lightbox by default. Do you want to turn off the lightbox site wide for all posts/pages? If so, you can do that from Theme Options > Misc Settings.
Hope that’s helpful!Hannah
In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Error Message
Hi,
I am receiving the following error message from WordPress:
Howdy!Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.
In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Chamber Dashboard Business Directory.
First, visit your website (*Login to see link and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (*Login to see link and check for any visible issues.
Please contact your host for assistance with investigating this issue further.
If your site appears broken and you can’t access your dashboard normally, WordPress now has a special “recovery mode”. This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further.
To keep your site safe, this link will expire in 1 day. Don’t worry about that, though: a new link will be emailed to you if the error occurs again after it expires.
When seeking help with this issue, you may be asked for some of the following information:
WordPress version 5.3.2
Current theme: Virtue – Premium (version 4.9.18)
Current plugin: Chamber Dashboard Business Directory (version 3.1.8)
PHP version 7.0.33Error Details
=============
An error of type E_RECOVERABLE_ERROR was caused in line 195 of the file /home/signalhi/public_html/wp-content/plugins/chamber-dashboard-business-directory/wpalchemy/MediaAccess.php. Error message: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to stringI have contacted Chamber Dashboard and they have told me that it is not them.
I would appreciate any help you can give. Thanks
In forum: Ascend ThemeHi,
I want to make sure that in all the portfolio grids lightbox is off. I switched it off in the theme settings, but it affects only the main portfolio archive on the home page – see here: sashaz.com
But whenever I go into some type of portfolio – the lightboxes are there, like here for instance:
*Login to see linkI checked that I’ve switched lightbox off in Theme options –> Portfolio settings –> Portfolio Archive Pages –> ‘Display lightbox link in grid?’ –> Off and also in Home page layout -> Module Portfolio Grid -> Display lightbox icon in portfolio posts –> off
Cheers,

Thank you both. I was channeling Ben this weekend, thinking “What would Ben do?” <laughing> I suspected that there was no code that would function like I wanted. I had search this support forum and found nothing. So I used the SiteOrigin Page Layout in the widget, column layout and Visual Editor Widget and….voila….it works.
Thank you both again for always being there for support. Thank you, Ben, for confirming.
Enjoy your week.
PamIn forum: Ascend ThemeHi!
I haven’t logged in to my website for awhile, and now that I did I found wordpress admin page blank. WordPress was automatically updated since the last time I checked wp. I’ve tried disabling all plugins via FTP. Nothing changed. The only thing that works is disabling the theme. Any ideas on what might be going on and how to fix this problem?Thank you!
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Regarding the footer
Hey,
Ascend was built with an above the footer widget area and this was created in that using page builder by siteorigin and row seperator. This would have to look a little different in Virtue as it doesn’t have this extra widget area. I’m not sure of a way to create a site-wide effect like this, but you could add a row to the bottom of your pages and add row seperator to that row. Which editor are you using?Hannah
In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Add widgets when using visual editor
Sorry, I’m confused. Are you using both elementor and page builder by siteorigin? You should really use one or the other as you don’t want be to loading both. If you switch out of the visual editor into elementor or any other page builder plugin you should not be switching back to the visual editor.

January 6, 2020 at 10:03 am #242745It is really best to not have two pagebuilders installed. You shouldn’t have siteorigin page builder and elementor installed. If you keep both installed you will constantly have issues where one is going to override the other and both will override the default editor so it’s just adding a layer of confusion to your site. I suggest you take the time to turn off one of them and then update all the places that need to be updated with one removed.

In forum: Virtue ThemeBen, anyone,
Regarding the website: *Login to see link that is built on a Kadence theme…
Many of the videos on this site were full-width until a recent update of the theme (Virtue) and WP itself. Now, the videos seem to be “limited” to a certain width and no longer size themselves like they did before.
The best example is just to look at the homepage…both videos below the slider used to be the full width of the content, but now are displaying nearly half as wide and left aligned. Nothing was changed content-wise. (And in the PageBuilder content, the video is just a URL, so it should – and used to – show full width.)
There are other similar issues throughout the site.
This is confusing, frustrating, and I don’t know how to fix it. (It seems like every time I update something, it breaks some content formatting somewhere – hence why I HATE to every update anything.)
One more example is the page:
The BOTTOM video should be full width, and two videos above used to be perfectly aligned at the edges with the videos…they are all set to 40% width, but seem to be using some other arbitrary size.
Again, this USED TO all be right, but now nothing is lined up like it used to on desktop, and the full width videos seem to be limited to some arbitrary max width.
Again, very confusing!
I don’t have a clue how to resolve.
Please help.
Thanks,
-Dan-

In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Sub-categories in the module’s product carousel tabs
January 6, 2020 at 9:18 am #242732Hey,
That isn’t an option with the theme options home page module. However you can add tabs in your page content using pagebuilder or blocks and then add the product carousel widget or block, in that there are settings to only show a category.Ben

This reply has been marked as private.January 6, 2020 at 7:31 am #242717In forum: Pinnacle Themeokay, this may be hard to replicate as this tax is only displayed in my region (Australia) as included in the price, otherwise its deducted from the price displayed (in other regions)
The problem here is that lately, the Featured Items list of products is incorrectly displaying the price exclusive of the tax. Its only happening if I’m not logged in. Its also happening for my client who is in another suburb. I’ve tested on several different browsers too, so its not a cookie issue as the problem is the same. The prices are displayed correctly everywhere else.
Woocommerce is up to date, as is the theme. WordPress is still 5.2.5 (edit)
the images show the price in the featured items carousel is different to the correct price displayed on the product item page…

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Placing Content Behind Header
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeI’m using Elementor (free) and Elementor Blocks for Gutenberg. I made a blog post and inserted Elementor templates. I’ve tried both the default post template and the Elementor Full Width post template and I like the result. The content is placed behind the page header.
I would like to create the same effect for the homepage but can’t get it to happen.

January 5, 2020 at 3:54 am #242698Hey Hannah,
Thanks so then I’ll continue with Pagebuilder.
Is there any way I can see with which editor I’ve started a post as more than one is showing on most pages/posts?
thanks

In forum: Membership ForumsIn forum: Membership ForumsI created another sidebar, but instead of it showing up on the blog post page, the primary sidebar is still there. The intro content on the page isn’t showing up either. What am I missing here?
I can create a admin login if you need it.
