Please guide me how I can add Instagram feed plugin on the top page?
I have the plugin on a page but trying to figure out the way to put this on to top page. The plugin page URL *Login to see link
Toppage URL: *Login to see linkI have tried to add a home widget area on the home page layout manager but it does not work the way I am intending.
Thank you in advance for your great support.
In forum: Virtue ThemeHi Hannah,
Thank you for your reply. I’ve done as suggested and disabled all plugins. No difference I’m afraid… It obviously works when I disable the Elementor plugin, but then there is absolutely no styling on the page whatsoever. So then there’s nothing to push to the side.
What else can I do?
Craig

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Home page slider image
Hi Support,
On a mobile phone, The responsive home page slider image looks smaller than the images from “Home Image Menu”. Is there a setting to adjust this? or it because in the virtue demo on a mobile device, the slider image in the demo looks better because of a darker color background, but the size is smaller than the home image menu. see attached how our slider image looks smaller than the home image mneu. Thanks

Hi Hannah,
From memory, I believe it consisted of the following in order:
1) Home Page Header being ‘Kadence Slider Pro’.
2) Page Content created in Elementor – an H1 Title ‘About Us’ and H2 and H3 description followed by an Image Carousel.
3) The Latest Posts.
That’s it thank you.In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: example site
December 10, 2019 at 4:30 pm #241945Hey,
You can certainly make your home page simple with a full-height image or slider. Kadence Slider can do this, so can the Kadence Blocks.Ben

Hi Ben,
Thanks for that info.
I find the ascend theme to not be as good with the displaying of testimonials as the other themes – or maybe I am trying to do a bit more than I have previously? Having the testimonials in the Post Grid is great but I want to show the whole testimonial not just an excerpt.. is there any way of doing that? I think if i can show the full content it would be just about perfect! I have added the full text into the excerpt box but it still shows the … and readmore (which i can hide with css if I have to).
Is there a way to show the Ascend Testimonial Carousel on the page? It doesn’t come up under the widget in the blocks? Also with the blocks it would be handy to be able to show them in the footer / header widgets especially the buttons.
Regards, Mel
In forum: Membership ForumsIn reply to: Disable AMP on certain Pages
December 10, 2019 at 3:29 pm #241942I see, it’s made with elementor post grid, that won’t output in amp, you would have to add custom amp content for that page. But since it’s an archive it’s not really going to be supported in amp unless you create it manually so turning it off would be best.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Full Width Stretched Padded Row
In forum: Virtue ThemeHi Team,
I have categories pages on my site with product Archive Templates.
Those templates have a PageBuilder row set to Full Width Stretched Padded. It looks OK on my working 27″ inches screen but is too much padding for a laptop screen size.
Can I control the right and left padding for a particular row on different screen sizes? Thanks!

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Image uploading problem – scaling?
December 10, 2019 at 7:47 am #241919Hey Steve,
As of WordPress 5.3 core changed how large raw images are handled. They get scaled-down in pixel size see here: https://make.wordpress.org/core/2019/10/09/introducing-handling-of-big-images-in-wordpress-5-3/I suggest installing a child theme or a code snippets plugin like: https://wordpress.org/plugins/code-snippets/
Then adding this:
add_filter( 'big_image_size_threshold', '__return_false' );As for you seeing images pixelated. Can you link to the page and so I can see the output, that would be something else usually.

I’m not sure if an extra widget for yearly archives is going to make it, but I’ve put it on my feature request list.

December 9, 2019 at 9:29 pm #241894Hey,
I just checked your site, and I’m confused, you have a section showing a video on the home page, but that section is not set to be the screen height, viewed on any large screen and the section will only take up a part of it leaving blank no content below it.If you are wanting to make a section that is full-screen height, you need to set the height of your row to 100vh using the vh unit is important. And it’s important to set that for the row not an inner column.

In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: ASCEND doesn’t work with Elementor ?
December 9, 2019 at 9:19 pm #241893Hey,
I think there might be some confusion that I hope I can clear up.Elementor is supported, and one of the page builders we suggest if you want to use a page builder. It’s not the only way to create a page, and with Ascend the home page has built-in modules that do not require any page builder, they can simply be enabled through the theme options > home layout section.
So when you link to this image in your “proof” above it shows a page created using the built-in modules: https://i.gyazo.com/c42028438cdba1f0a5f3b9f8f00272b3.jpg
If you would prefer to use a page builder and none of those modules, then you would go to theme options > home layout and uncheck everything but the “page content” which can output your elementor content.
I hope that helps! let me know.
Ben
