Hi hannah, at the moment the footer is hidden as I want my homepage to just be a landing page for now. I tried adding your code but the space remained

    Hey,
    Can you post a link?
You can always check your account page to see if there is a newer version released: https://www.kadencewp.com/my-account/

Hi I am using this short code from you for the testimonial from customers, [kad_testimonial_form location=”true” position=”true” link=”true”], and it works well. I would like to give the customer the ability to upload a picture with their comments via that page. Is there another short code or something I can insert on that page to allow it. Right now I know I can add it to the editing of the testimonial but then the customer has to send it separate. Open to suggestions.

    Kindest Regards
    Ted

Thank you. The best sellers is showing now, however I’m scratching my head on this problem…

Same page I shared above, looks ok in desktop, but on mobile the images are blown up huge. I temporarily removed all CSS and it was still doing it.

Hi Ben, Just wanted to let you know that deactivating the Page Transitions fixed the video popup problem. So I’ll stick with that for now. Thanks for all your help and suggestions!

Brand new install of Ascend Pro here. I’ve used this theme (and others from the Kadence suite) for many months now for clients, but just bought a personal membership for my own site. Setup on a fresh Dreamhost shared server with Jetpack and WP Super Cache. After activating the theme I’m finding that when I visit Theme Options it loads the UI for the header and sidebar but not the main settings pane in the center. None of the sidebar options work and the status bar shows “javascript:void(0);” when hovering over any of the options. Going into the Customizer reveals options such as header choices but clicking on the controls has no effect.

Switching from Ascend Pro to Pinnacle Pro seemed to clear things up, but even after deleting and reinstalling Ascend that theme still breaks in exactly the same way.

I’ve disabled WP Super Cache and Jetpack as a test as well as reset my htaccess file in case I’d setup any incorrect server rules that might have prevented theme functions from loading. But even with a mostly empty WordPress install with possible conflicts removed from the environment I can’t get Ascend Pro to allow any theme customizations.

You should see a whole settings page in your admin.

Go to settings > Recaptcha settings.

Then you can add your site key and secret key and turn on where you want the reCaptcha to show. There are links on the settings page to go and sign up for reCaptcha with google and get the site and security key.

Where can I send the login details so as not having to post them here publically?

You can use the checkbox “Set as private reply” to post your login info.

    Hey,
You can add product categories into your menu, in the appearance,> menus page click on “screen options” in the top right and make sure product categories are enabled, then you can add them to your menu.

    Hey,
It would be possible, but not simple. Off the top of my head the easiest way I can think to do this is to create a custom page template just for the page and run a custom query, Then redirect the normal URL for that archive to your custom page with a custom query.

My recommendation is to create another level of child categories so that your product navigation is better. Meaning you take the almost 100 subcategories you have there and add 6-10 parents that are above each. That in my mind would give your users better navigation then reading through 100 subcategories looking for the one they want.

    Hi guys,

We have this page that is a product category with the display type set to show subcategories. As this page now has almost 100 subcategories it is taking a long time to load. Is there a simple way to add pagination using a child theme?

    Thanks

    Hi
I want to add additional dropdown product pages for Ladies, Men and Children and pull relevant products through from the main shop page – which is the Parent on the Navigation bar.
How do I create the dropdown pages and have them pull the releavant products through?

    thanks

    #241712

    Hi,

yes, I had in Theme Options > Product Settings you have set the Product Sidebar Default to “Yes, Show”

And in product pages I had “Yes” and default.

Now that I manually changed the products pages to “Yes” and the specific sidebar needed, then it worked. But not with default.

So problem solved for now. But still wondering why it did not work in the first place.

Hi Ben, I have added 3 now and no have actually had some success with using different modals on differnet blocks.

Its seems the issue is trying to use two modals from two links within same block/element

Is there a way around this?

    Cheers, Sam

    Hey,
I only see one modal-trigger class on your page https://5aside.com/venue/bow/

Where are you adding the other?

    Hi,
In addition to the Kadence theme & plugins that I use, I use a plugin called Folders, which I have the paid version of. It’s a great plugin and allows me to create “folders” to organize my posts, pages, media, etc.

Unfortunately, the Folders Pro plugin isn’t working how it’s supposed to (more details in a moment). I’ve been working with their developer for a bit and there seems to be a compatability issue with the kadence-gallery plugin.

I’m hoping that you can help me resolve this.

    More about the issue:
One of the features of the Folders plugin is to allow me to put my media in folders and then view that media via a dropdown. This dropdown notes how many images are in the folder, yet when I use it, it acts as if no images appear (see highlighted image below).

I know the actual issue isn’t occurring within the Kadence products, but I’d really appreciate it if you could troubleshoot this. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

    Ben,

I made the change and purged the caches, but on the Home Page the image is still not displaying. The change affected the images displayed on the Blogs page, but not the Home Page.

    Have I missed something?

    Thanks,
    Dean

    #241688

    Hey Keith,
There isn’t a default option for this. One option would be to add your title into the content area of your blog page. Then use the following css to hide the title text in your header:
    .page-id-548 .titleclass h1, .page-id-548 .titleclass .subtitle {display: none;}
    Hope that helps!

No, this is the correct forum. Sorry, I just wasn’t sure, but your title does make it clear so that’s my bad. When you navigate to Products > Woo Templates are you able to create/edit a checkout template? Is that the page you mean? What exactly are you trying to edit?
