I just renew my Kadence license (thanks for your work during all the year !) 🙂

I’m just testing my website on PageSpeed Insights and I have a 62/100 score for mobile (93/100 for desktop).

What can I do to improve the mobile score ?

The Kadence theme : *Login to see link have the same result 62/100. Can we improve that ?

Yes, this is what I use.

I am pretty confident that my settings are fine, checked everything many times.

There are a few pages with this sort of Virtue shortcode [blog_grid columns=”3″ items=”12″ orderby=”date” cat=”some-category”] and they all work fine.

But if I set any of these pages as custom 404 page in Options > Theme Extensions then it’s content becomes double.

It is a minor bug that can be “ignored” if a different template for this custom 404 page is used, something that I did already, using Blog Grid template instead of Feature template and not using the Virtue shortcode.
This way the top slide goes away but it was something that had to be removed anyway, so not a big deal.

I m really sorry but I cannot give login access to anybody.

If you are interested in solving this minor bug you can reproduce it very easily in any Virtue installation, set any page that contains this Virtue shortcode as custom 404 page and you will see it.

The endurance message was coming in WP Rocket plugin page not in the admin page. The plugin has just been updated and the endurance message is gone now.

Though you turned off the animation but it is still the way it was. I have cleared all caches but the animation is still there on the home page.

All other changes I make show up on the pages right away except this animation. Is that only me who can not see the effect of termination of animation?

It seems to happen all the time on the home page with the right and left arrows on the Kadence slider, and the social media icons in the footer. On other pages the media icons sometimes show and sometimes don’t.

You can increase the number of portfolio posts to show on the homepage from Theme Options > Home Layout > Module Portfolio Grid. There isn’t a way to add pagination on the homepage though.

I have been using a sticky header on my site and it was looking very nice. However, I just re-opened my shop and the header was misbehaving on product pages. It was OK scrolling down the page: header shrank as expected. However, when scrolling back up the header would ‘re-inflate’ but in such a way that it covered the top of the product info and no amount of scrolling would reveal the top of the page. I have switched off the sticky header for now, but I wondered if you could shed any light on this?

Hey Christine,
1. The Row Layout block makes this easy! In your row layout block settings choose the mobile layout and there you can set the Column Collapse Vertical Gutter.

2. There isn’t a built-in function for that. What you can do is add two buttons to your page and then use css and media queries to add hide one on desktop and the other on mobile. Would that work for you?

After a recent update (I think so, or did not notice before the update), anyway, I noticed that on the shop main page the review stars are a few pixels. Looking at the Devtools’ Inspector it is because of the inline css rule:

.product_item .product_details h5 {
min-height: 55px;
}

Since it is a inline rule I wonder where this rule comes from? Is this a setting somewhere? I could not find it.

Asking because on e.g. *Login to see link (demo shop) I see this rule set to 40px.
