Hi Hannah,
Yes it was. And I have disabled all plugins (except Siteorigin Page Builder) and it does the same thing.
I’m building a site with Basic Slider in the Home Page Header. I’ve enabled captions to be displayed and have indeed provided a caption for each image in the media library, but they don’t appear in the slider. Am I doing something wrong? The site is HERE.
I even went into Misc Settings and enabled default captions on all Ascend Galleries, though I don’t think I should’ve had to do this. It didn’t make any difference. Thanks for any help or guidance you can provide!
Here is a Shop page configured to display Categories: *Login to see link
In the “Shop Page Archives”, I cannot find any controls for the text of the category name such as:
Font size
Color
Background color
Transparency
etc.

Hey,
That sounds like page caching not an issue. Refreshing the page would just require the browser cache to clear.
Perhaps I am misunderstanding. Can you send me a login so I can see?
Hello Kadence Support group, how are you?!
I would like to improve the images on my website. I like the looks of this manual click-through gallery, which has obvious buttons to use to click through, and also shows exactly what number of photo one is looking at… and allows for a text description of each photo.
Something like seen at the bottom of this page:

Is there anything like this that could possibly be used in a WordPress widget, etc?
John
Good morning
We currently look after 50 school websites that are running either Virtue Free or Virtue Premium themes.
After the WordPress core update, previous to yesterday’s (5.2.3) five of our sites no longer displayed the black admin bar at the top of the page, when logged-in. However, the bar appeared when the page was refreshed.
As this was on a small percentage of our sites, we have been trying to find the cause by checking plugins, etc for commonality, with no success.
We were hopeful that as the problem appeared after the previous core update that yesterday’s update (5.2.4) would cure the problem. It did with the Virtue Premium site but not with the four Virtue Free sites. This leads us to think that the problem may be theme related.
Your assistance in resolving this problem would be greatly appreciated.
With kind regards
Andy
Hi,
I have never come across this problem before and have used the Virtue theme for most of my client’s websites.
The page builder row (right underneath the header) is playing up. And when I minimise the browser it does the same thing. I have attached an image.

Most of my Amp pages are indexed fine but I got a message from Google that I have a warning for a few blog posts where I used buttons.
I have not updated these in some time. I thought at first it was because they were still in classic layout using button shortcode. So I sat down and went through one of these posts and updated it to the new format using the “advanced button” item in layout. When I tested that URL again, Google gave me the same warning. I thought perhaps it was a cache problem. I cleared Cache at Cloudfront and turned off WP Rocket. Still got the warning. When I look at the Source code for HTML, I can see the code it’s complaining about so I don’t think it’s a cache problem or at least not obvious to me that it is. It’s likewise not obvious to me what the problem is.
This is one of the URLs that Google says has an issue.

I also have something else weird going on with this Amp page now that I’ve recreated the wheel using the new style button. I gather buttons display as text instead of buttons? The first one has an orange background the way my buttons do on the regular post. The rest of the text “buttons” on AMP are displaying without the orange background. I really don’t have a preference other than I’d like them to all display the same. I’m wondering if this is because I duplicated that block each time after creating it once and just updated the link for each one? I wanted to keep them all the same style without having to re-click the colors over and over. Just a guess that may be what caused the first one to display with a color and all the rest to not. Maybe it’s something else altogether.
On a similar note, in the regular layout I used a spacer after each button so that there would be room before the next paragraph. I see that didn’t go into the AMP style version at all. Is it possible it could at least insert a line feed or something in place of spacers?
Sorry for piling on multiple concerns. Since it’s not currently eligible for AMP indexing, that’s obviously the priority problem! Ha!
If there’s any detail you need, etc. to figure this one out, just let me know!
Thank you,
Mark
Hi there, I’ve hunted online and website for this but no luck.
I set up an attribute for “Attachment Rope Size” and added 2 options, then added it to a simple product.
No way will it show up as expected as a 2 choice option on the product page, although it does show at the bottom of the page as “Additional Information” with the 2 listed linked options, going to a 404.
Doing something very basically wrong,
Thank you for any help with this.

Hey,
I suggest using this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/widgets-on-pages/
It will give you a shortcode to output a widget area, you can place that shortcode in the footer text area.

Hey guys,
I’m not sure this is a Kadence Blocks issue or not but I get margin bottom on the Row block. This only creates an issue when trying to stack two rows on top of each other that are different colors because it creates a white stripe. This is the CSS that causes the issue.
.entry-content > [class*="wp-block-"]:not(:last-child) {
margin-bottom: 1.5em;
}
In the past I’ve just fixed it by setting the custom CSS to margin-bottom: 0;
I’m using GeneratePress.

Hi there, firstly apologies if this is a WooCommerce setting and not a theme setting (but I think it’s related to Virtue).
I’m making a website with woocommerce and I need to remove the ‘lightbox’ functionality on the individual product pages – instead, when clicking the thumbnail underneath the featured product picture, it should appear in the space where the featured product picture is.
I hope you understand what I’m trying to understand. Thanks in advance!
Hey,
It looks like you just need to set a min width for your buttons. When I try to register so I can view your quiz I’m directed to a 403 error page. Do you know why?
Hannah
Just so you know, where it is right now is in the exact middle of your page, by moving it right you are offsetting it.
Here is the css:
.kt-header-layout-center-menu .kad-center-header.kt-header-flex-item {
padding-left: 30%;
}

Hey,
There isn’t a built in function for this. A workaround would be to add two sliders to your shop page, one just to the top of your content area, then use css to hide one on mobile and the other on desktop. Would this work for you?
Hannah
Hi,
I’m running a Kadence Slider on the Home page and shop page which is placed behind the header on a Pinnacle theme. This works great on a laptop but I have issues when viewing on mobile, I’ve manage to find that I can set a different slider on mobile for the home page and have managed to sort that issue but not for the shop page, is there anyway round this, or will it be introduced in a later update?
Kind regards
Peter
