In forum: Ascend ThemeHi there,
Hannah, yes to your question. I’m making sure my cursor is off to the right side of the map in the margin.
I just went back and checked the page in Chrome, and it seems to be working just fine now. I’m going to ask my client if they’re still experiencing the issue as well and will let you know.
Thank you both for your quick look into this!

In forum: Ascend ThemeGood morning-
I’m using the Ascend accordion widget towards the bottom of a page and, when expanded in Chrome (Firefox and Safari are fine), the whole page stops scrolling about halfway through the accordion contents so that it looks like the page ends there; can’t scroll down to view the footer. If I expand the browser window, I’m then able to view the whole page.
I’d originally had Smooth Scrolling ‘On’ in the Misc Settings, but went in and turned it off. It seems that I have to adjust the browser window to fit the screen to get everything to display properly but am concerned site visitors won’t know to do this to see everything.
Hoping my rambling makes sense; here’s a link to the specific page: *Login to see link
Thanks,
SaraI imported theme options and all content from one subdomain to another. In the target domain, the blog page and blog posts are not displaying properly. Also, in Theme Options, two panels are missing that are in the original site: Page Options and Custom Post Type Options.
Can you help me get the target site into the same state as the original?
I will give the site info in a private reply.
Thank you.
In forum: Membership ForumsIn reply to: Kadence WooCommerce Elementor …
September 25, 2019 at 12:14 pm #238077Hey,
initially there was the thought there would be the ability of building woo category archive pages as category grid… which is no the case sadly (a least theres was completely no way found to do so).
Can you explain to me more what this means? You can create a template that can apply to any category. Within that template, you can add whatever you want. If you can explain what you are wanting or provide an example I would be more then happy to see if I can help.
but where the hell is the live preview whilst editing??? theres no way to set up a preview scenario alike elementor for templates. is that true?
none of the tests we started showed any preview in editor …!Which theme are you using? I am able to see the output in the editor. Which widgets are you adding?
totally big disappointment: obviously no support for acf-fields!!! this is frankly a shame, as elementor itself does.
they can be selected in editor but doesnt render on frontend.I believe the way elementor pulls in acf-feilds is through the page ID when you have inner posts it doesn’t loop though those when pulling in dynamic feilds. I can check on that. I’m not sure it’s possible to add support for the way elementor does dynamic but perhaps I can create a custom widget that would pull them in for content inside a loop by looking at the current looped item. It’s certainly a good feature request.
and then there are quite some glitches – e.g. font settings that doesnt override the woo originals on front.
That would mean whatever theme you are using is overriding with more specific css then the elementor output. If you can let me know where and which theme I may be able to build in support for it.
honestly: is that worth the money at all?
I suppose that depends on your needs and wants. We certainly offer refunds if you’re not happy. And I’m certainly willing to help with issues that you are having as it relates to your setup and theme.
I’m also happy to look at any feature requests.

In forum: Membership Forumshi there,
so we’ve bought the’Kadence WooCommerce Elementor’ plugin – and to mentioned afore: this is no real issue (theres more tha one) but more sort of a short review.
simply becaus we are absolutely dissappointed – to be honest.initially there was the thought there would be the ability of building woo category archive pages as category grid… which is no the case sadly (a least theres was completely no way found to do so).
half way useable thing is the products loop view. works.

or is there something very basic thats missing on our side??? or is this under heavy development?
kind of irritated …anyone can bring clearance to this?
thanks in advance.

September 25, 2019 at 9:12 am #238063Hey,
I’m seeing a carousel show at the bottom of your page?Ben
In forum: Ascend ThemeHi
I’m using Ascend theme and I have the blog post category/archive default set to ‘Grid with first post as standard’. This is good for my main category of posts, but I have added a new category and would like to display this archive as ‘Grid’ without the first post being highlighted. I cannot see an option to set this on the Category page. Is there a way to achieve this?
Thanks
Cally
In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Dots in Testimonial widget
September 25, 2019 at 1:40 am #238053Hi,
I have inserted the Virtue: Testimonial Carousel widget in my home page. I would like it to show the dots but I haven’t found the way.
I have tried changing data-slider-dots=”true” in class-kadence-testimonial-slider-widget.php and also change all dots to true in virtue-slick.js.
If anyone can help me it would be great.
Thank you.In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Supsystic pricing tables conflict
My apologies for the unintended slur.
Kadence pricing tables is a hugely powerful plugin and I surprised myself with the quality of the pricing table I was able to produce.
With a bit of patience, some trial and error and some judicious CSS, I have been able to create a copy of the client’s original Supsystic pricing table.More importantly, the Kadence pricing table plugin has been coded properly so it doesn’t interfere with other items on the page!
Thanks for another great product!
Kind regards,
PhilIn forum: Virtue ThemeHello,
I’m not sure why, but blog post titles aren’t displaying in the post carousel, and I’d like them to. Carousel items are just showing the first paragraph of text instead. Also, the carousel title is also not displaying. Any idea why this would be?
Example: *Login to see link (bottom of page)
Thank you!
-CaitlinIn forum: Pinnacle ThemeTopic: Pinnacle Carousel
Hello
When I add the Pinnacle Carousel as a widget and I set it up for any of the option whether it is images or products it doesn’t seem to display in the page.
Here is the link of the example: *Login to see link
You can see at the bottom of the post that only this code appears:
[carousel type=best-products items=6 orderby=menu_order columns=3 scroll=1 fullwidth=standard]Please advise on what am I doing wrong.
Regards,
In forum: Ascend ThemeHi Team,
I see you have had issues due to Supsystic code before.
If I enable the pricing tables, then it is no longer possible to use Formstack forms on the same page. This conflict goes away if I switch to 2017 theme. Is there a fix or should I just change pricing tables? I note there is now a Kadence pricing table but I am trying to copy an existing layout which can be seen here and I can’t see how to do that with the Kadence pricing table plugin.
Very many thanks,
Phil.In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: get breadcrumb trail to left hand side
September 24, 2019 at 1:02 pm #238032I wanted to use the option within Theme Options > Shop Settings “Show Category Filter on Category Pages. This adds a dynamic filter to Category pages. NOTE this filter is only designed to filter what is visible on the page. It does not act as a menu and query products from multiple pages.”
This looks great but how can I only show ‘child categories’ from the current category, and not ‘grandchildren categories’?
Thanks!
On both Firefox and Safari the DOM reads as follows particularly the “width: 9px” which creates an image grid too narrow to be useful:
<div class=“tiles_item featured-project p_item jg-entry entry-visible” style=“width: 9px; height: 220px; top: 3px; left: 3px;”>Chrome appears to handle this section fine with DOM as follows:
<div class="tiles_item featured-project p_item jg-entry entry-visible" style="width: 165px; height: 220px; top: 3px; left: 3px;">At the moment I’m resolving this for the client by using the below code entered into the Custom CSS portion of Theme Options:
#portfolio_template_wrapper .featured-project .portfolio-item .tiles-item { min-width: 150px; }In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Move topbar content to bottom
Hi Hannah! I’ve turned the store notice off for mobile for now (until I can get the topbar issue sorted), here’s a link to one page on my site — https://peacockandfig.com/lest-we-forget-series/
In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Video block and a few questions
2. You could start the trend for video testimonials :))) …I just thought it would be easy to add video to the media, but great if you launch a universal carousel.
3. Thank you !
A new question – sorry:
4. On the start page I set -margins to have the laptop from row 2 overlap the background of row 1. Looks great in the frontend but in the backend the laptop is under the background. I have the same situation in the pricing page. Setting Z index on column didn’t change anything. Did I miss something?
Browser is FF latest.
