In your theme options > custom css you are adding this:

.banner {
    display: none;
}

I don’t know why. But that would fix your white area on the home page.

It appears Optimize Press is overriding the page templates and it’s creating an issue with the theme wrapper. That is easy enough to add support for but I need access to the files to know what code to write. Can you send me a .zip file of the plugin and I’ll either update the theme with support or send you a little fixer plugin that will prevent that conflict with Optimize Press overrides the wrapper.

Also for some reason the home page is going like this image attached. The inner pages look fine its just the home page? There is definitely a gremlin in here somewhere. It happened yesterday as well, I was able to go to an inner page and then back to the home and refresh and it fixed itself but not tonight?

Sorry, Pat! I will try to explain better. Which demo style did you import? The page content you are seeing on the homepage is likely made up of the home icon menu, featured products, the portfolio carousel, and latest blog posts. Each of which are configured in the homepage layout manager (theme options > home layout). Does that make sense? I’m sorry if this feels confusing. Let us know if there is a way we can make this more clear.

I’m sorry but that didn’t make a difference. I’ve used page builder and I do have it installed and I did move the page content widgit to enabled.But I still don’t see any content. I see the same thing I’ve been seeing in that screen shot.
I’m sad because I thought using the demo would make my life easier but it’s not working. So I think I need to move on.

Well even if I wanted to use Page Builder, I just don’t see any content on these pages when I go to edit them. Please look again at my screencast I provided. Where is the content?? The only thing I see is a Virtue Call to Action box – nothing like what’s on that Home page. Maybe this isn’t going to work for me :(.

Hi.I’ve just started building a new site. On the first three pages, all the text is centred (page titles, footer, etc). Now for some reason, any new pages are showing all text aligned left. Is there a way I can make everything centred as the original 3 pages are?

I did some testing, without server access I can only guess. This is really something that you need access to the server logs to trouble shoot.

If you can send me ftp access I can run some tests. I did test with your content locally and couldn’t create an issue.

My guess is that because your site crashes sooner when more plugins you are either running out of php resources or have a php extension that is not installed and should be for WordPress.

Both would account for why with a basic theme your page would load.

Hey,
If you are working from demo pages, many are built using the pagebuilder by site origin. If you prefer to use the block editor you would need to create new pages. Does that make sense?

Within each page you choose how you want to build it. You can use a pagebuilder or you can use the native block editor.

Hey,
When you add a new page you should see a little dropdown with the option to create your page using the block editor. Do you see that? If you have the classic editor plugin installed it will default to that when creating a new page.
Do you have the kadence blocks plugin installed and activated?

Now that I figured out the slider, I’m moving on to editing the rest of the home page. But when I click on Live Editor or even just Edit Page, the only thing I see is what’s in the screenshot attached.
I’ve looked all over for those blocks! Can’t find them – sounds like they’d be useful but if I want to edit a page, how do I access them?

Hey,
You can edit the typography and that will affect your h1 tags everywhere. If you want to just change it in one specific place (like only your home page ) css it probably best which we can help with if you post a link. If you are using the Block editor you can more easily control font sizes within your content.

It’s easiest if you create a new topic for future questions.

I just tested by adding three prebuilt items into the page, no errors, they all showed right away.

What browser are you using?
