Do you want it a separate image than that of your slider? Or are you just wanting your slider to go the full width of your page? If the latter, you can set your slider to full width from within the kadence slider settings.

Hi Ben,

Thanks for getting back to me. Ok I think you are right I need to change to your tools for this purpose.

I do quite like the look of the jet widgets “product loop” with all of the text and button overlaid on the image as this allows for maximum image size. Is it possible to create a Kadence Product Loop styled like this (i.e. as you can currenly see on my homepage?) Any handy “hints and tips” greatly appreciated.

I meant that the first options are what is shown in the page, and the second are links to examples of what each of these formats does. The screenshot is a little bit different from how it looks in the gutenberg editor. I will fix this in the docs.

You had the format set to standard in your post. I changed it to Image, saved and refreshed the page and the Image post Options are now showing.
Just to clarify, the format is set from the right sidebar under the Status and Visibility tab.

Hey Ben, thanks for adding that option! It is perfect. The only thing I’m bumping into now is that it seems like the width isn’t getting set without this line of css:

.kadence-info-box-image-inner-intrisic {
    min-width: 50px;
}

I have the max width for the media set to 50px but its almost as if it isn’t getting applied. I’m having this issue on .svg and .jpg image types. Let me know if you need any more information.

I want to set a background for the area on each side of the slider. Right now it is gold colored.

I tried Edit Page, Background Image and added and image.

I suspect it is not a background but some other location. If not, can you provide the css to either color it or insert an image on each side of the slider?

Hi,

I have just migrated from using a normal WP theme to using Elementor Pro + Hello Child Theme. I have bought your membership package for its excellent Woocommerce support, however I don’t get the expected behaviour on the product categories pages in that they don’t filter and display the chosen catergory only.

Please see *Login to see link and then click on one of the categories – an unfiltered product page is all I can seem to achieve.

If I use the default Woocommerce page it works correctly (but obviously does not look like I want it to).

How do I make this page display the filtered product list including a title at the top showing the category name?

I am happy to send you access to my WP admin if it helps…

Hey,
Your screenshots are actually both showing the same things. After selecting a post format, are you saving and refreshing the page? The Options tab should show once you have done this. Let me know if that’s not the case for you.

Hi, in this product *Login to see link we have 119 reviews from customers… from a pc browser we can see the add review form on the right so it is ok, but if we check the page from mobile, we need to scroll a lot of times to see the form….

Question: is there a way to put the form on the top on mobile?

I’m trying out AMP plugin for the first time and since I’ve activated it I’m getting webmaster tool errors: Referenced AMP URL is not an AM and 404 error for the home page. As my site only has pages this is all that’s selected for amp in general settings.

When testing amp pages by adding amp/ to the end of the url it seems to just redirect to non amp version. Except for the homepage which brings up a 404. I’ve resaved permalinks but still no dice.

Any suggestions appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Hannah, thanks for that, I was able to decrease the margin for the button within the page builder settings by editing the row. However when I entered the CSS code you gave it did not appear to make any difference (I entered the CSS code in the correct place advanced settings)

Feature image selected for blog post. It shows up in Latest Blog Posts and Recent Blog Posts, but does not show up at the top of the blog page itself.

What happened? 😉

Referencing typography settings. If here an easy css coding that I can use to override typography settings on certain sections.

Using the Ascend Documentation the typography settings address these locations.

H1 Page Titles
H2 Post Titles
H3 Section Titles
H4 Latest Blog Post Titles
H5 Recent Post Titles and tags/categories

So when I change font size for H4 for Latest Blog Post Titles….it doesn’t change the Feature post at the top of that section. What nifty code do you have that I can use to make that change? <cheesy grin> Or am I overlooking a setting that control that one post in the Latest Blog Post section on homepage?

Hey Ben, for some reason, there are no way to edit or add any content to the page builder widgets’.We should be able to enter or edit stuff in the widget…right now it says ‘There are no options for this widget.’ on every single one of them. Could you please take a look? Thank you!

You can place anywhere using a shortcode. You can only play the same slider once per page. If you add it with a shortcode then you need to make sure to remove it from the home settings.
