Hi there,

The next page/previous page buttons on my Dokan shop have a conflict again – we added some code a few weeks back but I think an update is now causing a conflict.

If you check : *Login to see link

And look at the buttons at the bottom of the page are sitting right on the footer – no padding. Is this the theme conflict or something to do with Dokan?

This can be done from your individual post edit pages under Post Title and Subtitle.

Hmmm. What happens when you try to edit a page? What error? What version of the theme are you using? You could try downloading a fresh version of the theme here: https://www.kadencewp.com/my-account/ Then you would just need to deactivate and delete your current version of the theme, then re-upload your fresh download.

had this in head for smooth scroll on jump clicks

removed it and now does not need 2 clicks when clicking on the “customer reviews” (on the product page) to jump to the reviews, BUT does not smooth scroll anymore. Is there a way to make it smooth scroll and ONLY require 1 click?

Hello,

After an update of WP all my content was reverted out of Page Builder and the code was changed in such as way that I cannot put it back into Page Builder and have it format correctly. I have contacted Site Origin already and they have advised me to contact you for help (see bottom of email for details).

One of the other main problems is that all my accordions break whenever any content is changed. Site Origin even rebuilt a test page, but then I pointed out that editing that page once again broke their buttons.

I’m trying to find out what will be easiest at this point to fix all the multiple pages on my website? Seems like I may need to do a full re-build. *Login to see link

This page is one where I disabled the accordion so at least we can see the content, but they are all now open: *Login to see link

Please advise. Here is the last message from Site Origin:

Hi Connie, I’ve had everyone here at SiteOrigin looking at this and we’re at a loss. What we can say is that our new page, Classes Test, is functioning normally. Revisions work and we can revert to Editor and then restore into Page Builder. Your existing pages are missing widget shortcodes that allow this functionality (moving from Text tab to Page Builder). We introduced this in 2017, it’s unclear why recent saves, say 11 months ago, didn’t introduce this functionality into your Page Builder source code. On my local computer, I’ve restored to a version of Page Builder from 2016, even then revisions work as expected. We tried restoring page revisions on some of your pages, the issue persists. At the moment, we don’t know of a method to resolve the problem on the pages reverted out of Page Builder. I’m really sorry for the hassle this has caused. If I can send you a complimentary copy of SiteOrigin Premium, please email me on [email protected]. New pages appear to be functioning normally for what that’s worth. For the future, you could consider a backup plugin. *Login to see link doesn’t have scheduled backups but it is handy for the occasional manual snapshot. I’m here for any questions you may have moving forward.

I’m using a testimonial carousel block on this page.

The testimonial doesn’t show the heading or excerpt from the testimonial post.

On this page, I have built a similar arrangement using Page Builder and the virtue testimonial carousel widget. And this works!

Any thoughts what might be preventing it showing on the new page?

I have installed this elementor plugin and cannot edit a page as im getting an error, im following the elementor trouble shooter and ruled out most problems except this one;

2. Make sure the theme files exist. If no theme is available, go ahead and install or re-install a theme.

To get the exact widgets from your sidebar you would need to use a page builder. Have you worked with Elementor? https://wordpress.org/plugins/elementor/

Which editor are you using? If using a page builder such as elementor or siteorigin you can easily add widgets to the page. Or if using the block editor you can add whatever blocks to the page you would like.

This css would hide your sidebar from mobile:

If you want to add content on top of your products on mobile simply add whatever content you want to your shop edit page. Then let me know when you’ve done this and I can provide css to hide it from desktop screens.

There isn’t a built-in function for this, but you can hide the page title on your pages and add an h1 tag to the top of your content area. Would this work for you?

We are using Ascend Premium and was looking for a way to put the page title into the content instead of the header. There seems to be an option for blog posts and products but not pages – unless we have missed it.
