Topic: Kadence Slider disappeared
In forum: Virtue ThemeJuly 4, 2019 at 4:45 pm #229967Hey,
Yep add this css:.wrap.contentclass { padding-top: 0 !important; }Virtue doesn’t have a transparent and sticky option, for that you would need to use our Ascend Theme.
Which demo page are you referring to?

In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Scroll with solid background menu
July 4, 2019 at 12:20 pm #229953Hello,
No that didn’t work – it just changed the | bit in between menu items.
So…when I go to the individual pages the menu is solid see this page: http://crossleywebsites.co.uk/thefoothut/contact-us/
But it’s the homepage…..I’ve tried messing with header options, home header, transparent header….The other thing is another site I have:
https://crossleyrunners.clubIS doing what I want – transparent, then solid menu bar when scrolled….and I compared the settings and the only thing that’s different is that with CART the header settings are different – this one is 3rd down (menu middle logo left) and the foot hut one is 5th down with logo middle menu under…
SO what’s different about these two?
Many thanks
NIcIn forum: Virtue ThemeThanks Ben,
You have right. But I remember that I enabled the simple mobile header yesterday or so, watched it on my mobile phone and nothing had changed. So I disabled it again. Today I enabled it back … and now I could find my logo at the right place. So I guess maybe caching was a problem when I checked earlier.
Today I like you to look at the mobile view again. You can see that above the top slider there is a grey line or background. Is it possible to move the slider up, right over that grey line, but not more? What would I need to do? Or do I need to disable/change perhaps a background color somewhere? Still, I like to have moved the slider up a bit.
Perhaps a final question as we are just there: If I want to move my contents below the header BUT making the header transparant AND sticky, what must I do. Especially the transparency interests me. You have at one of your demo pages the same transparent header effect but I’m not sure what I must do.
Thanks again
Rainer

July 4, 2019 at 10:13 am #229932I don’t see that you have added the css I sent. It’s not in the output when I look, Also your mobile height is still set to 95.
The header (totally different then page title area) is set to 225 which is really large. I’m not talking about making your header area larger, the page title is what you want to edit.
If you can send me a login I can send you screen shots of where you have this set.

In forum: Ascend ThemeTopic: id tag in button shortcode
July 4, 2019 at 5:13 am #229918Hi, I saw that if i put a shortcode like this in a page
[btn text="FINALIZAR COMPRA" link="asdasd asd" tcolor="#ffffff" bcolor="#36af48" thovercolor="#ffffff" size="small"]the result once the page is loaded is that an random id tag is attached to the a tag like
<a href="http://asdasd%20asd" id="kadbtn229" target="_self" class="btn button btn-shortcode sm-kad-btn " style="background-color:#36af48; border: 0 solid; border-color:#000; color:#ffffff;" onmouseover="this.style.color='#ffffff'" onmouseout="this.style.color='#ffffff'">FINALIZAR COMPRA </a>but i noticed that the id is changing every time the page reload so we cannot address the item by the id tag… is a bug or a normal behaviour?
thank you very much
AngeloIn forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: checkout text on cart menu item
July 4, 2019 at 5:05 am #229917Than you very much Ben for your code, it finally create a button with ascend shortcode and put in a extra menu widget and i use this code into the theme footer scripts sections to display and hide it:
<script type="text/javascript"> jQuery(document).ready(function ($) { if ( $('.kt-header-extras span.kt-cart-total').text() != '0' ) { $('.menu-widget-area-kt .sm-kad-btn').show(); } else { $('.menu-widget-area-kt .sm-kad-btn').hide(); } }); </script>the problem is that the code execute only when y load the page not when i add/remove an item from the cart…
to do that i would need a trigger that execute every time the cart change his content… so googling a bit i found a solution and i changed your code to?> <script type="text/javascript"> // Ready state (function($){ $( document.body ).on( 'added_to_cart', function(){ if ( $('.kt-header-extras span.kt-cart-total').text() != '0' ) { $('.menu-widget-area-kt .sm-kad-btn').hide(); } else { $('.menu-widget-area-kt .sm-kad-btn').hide(); } }); })(jQuery); // "jQuery" Working with WP (added the $ alias as argument) </script> <?phpso now it updates when i add a product but not when a load a page or i remove a product from the cart… so i googled again and i found someone saying to use updated_cart_totals but the code is not working…
do you have any suggestion?

Ben,
The CSS you provided does narrow the gap between the title and subtitle which is good. However, no matter the amount of bottom padding I put in I cant lift the title text clear of the file path text (even if its just a title that goes onto two lines). If I increase the bottom padding to say 200px all that happens is the height of the mobile header increases and the title text stays at the bottom of the header. It also pulls the logo and menu down the mobile page as well. On the desktop the header height again gets extended. No matter what permutations I try I cant lift the title further up the mobile header. Is there CSS that can be used to do this on the mobile only?
Link showing current settings below (mobile header height 225px and bottom padding of 58px)

AngeloIn forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: sticky header and topbar … problem on woocommerce
July 3, 2019 at 11:27 pm #229895sorry this was lost… 🙂
so, we have topbar and header set as sticky….
when we arrive to the checkut page all is ok….than we click the pay button because we want to see any error quickly… and the errors show…
but the page didn’t scroll to the top completely, we notice it because if we scroll manually we can see all the original stuff
we disabled our custom css but no, the problem is still there…
than you very much
AngeloIn forum: Virtue ThemeThanks Ben for looking…
Well, I did so yesterday but I did not saw any change. The current logo was still only above the word ‘Menu’.
Maybe my cash wasn’t updated.
Will tell you later.
In the meanwhile, I saw there is another issue. Same area:
Behind the mobile PAGE, there is a background color (gray). But that color does not goes fully behind the mobile menu header to the left and right. That mobile menu is a little bit shorter. If you look at the page wit the the menu, you see a gray AND a white background. Hard to see but it is there. How to make the background header in mobile view fully the same grey color as the rest of the page? In other words all background in grey with perhaps the exception of the mobile menu in white.
ot sure I explained it right. Please go to the page again and scroll and you see the color difference.
In other words, I need to expand the background color of gray BEHIND the white background color of the rectangle menu header.
Please take a look. Really hard to see but there is a slight difference. Top left and top right is of concern Ignore the top menu area which might or not might there right now.
Thanks Ben.
In forum: Membership ForumsTopic: Single Column Pricing Table
Hello all,
I have two sets of pricing tables in this site, one with 3 columns and the other [kadence_pricing_table id=”2″] is only a single column. Well, it won’t let me center it, so I thought I would put it in a two column row and insert an image next to it, but that won’t work either as it squishes the table.
I found this code below, but this code also effects my 3-column table on another page as well. So, if I knew code I would state in the code to only affect pricing table 2, but I don’t, so can you give me the code for my single table to center in a column widget. Thanks! Here is the site: *Login to see link
ul.kpt-table-area > li {
float: none;
width: 100%;
}In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Mobile Header Title Text
July 3, 2019 at 4:09 pm #229886add this css:
.titleclass .subtitle { margin-top: 8px; } .kt_bc_active .page-header { padding-bottom: 58px; }Worth noting that you are setting the mobile header height to 95px which is really tight if you’re wanting to fix a title and subtitle and that is something you can edit in the page.
It will better account for breadcrumbs that are that long and also tighten your title and subtitle.

July 2, 2019 at 12:43 pm #229787Hey,
No I wasn’t in your site.Looks like you really need to update your PHP version.
I must make this as clear as possible, virtue does not support a transparent header option. If you want this and you want it to work well you should use the ascend theme.
All I am providing is a hack and it’s not a good option if you plan to use on some pages and not others.
Because your logo doesn’t make sense on a transparent header (it should be switched out while transparent) I can’t emphasize this enough that you should not be trying this with virtue.
Finally, you are using sticky header and the site you linked to is not, this again means you should be using ascend not virtue if you want sticky and transparent support.
Here is the css hack for your home page:
.home.stickyheader #kad-banner { position: absolute; width: 100%; background: transparent; transition:background .3s ease; } .home.stickyheader .is-sticky #kad-banner { background: rgba(255,255,255,0.8);} .home #kad-banner-sticky-wrapper { height: 0 !important; }Ben

July 2, 2019 at 11:00 am #229777Yeah, not much you can do about this. I suggest you not use the sicky at all considering you only want it stuck for a few hundred pixels.
Here is the explanation: Setting something sticky then unstick requires that you give it a point at which to become unsticky. This has to based on the distance from the bottom of that page to your sticky item. That means it will only work if the distance to the bottom is always static. Your second product has two carousels below, related and upsell so the distance to the bottom of the page is much different than a product that only has one carousel.
Does that make sense?
