checkout text on cart menu item

hi, in this site http://157.230.115.238/ we put the standard ascend icon into the menu extra, we would like to add a text to the number of items in yellow… like CHECK OUT NOW (1) … or only CHECKOUT NOW…. from other client experience that “button/message” increased the checkout rate ….
we thought to add a menu that shows only if there at least one product in the cart…
what is you opinion?
