    Hey,

    I have come across webistes that you some sort of page trasition and I was wondering if this is pure css or also js and if soething like this is possible with Virtue as well.

    Hi Jaume,
    Which editor are you using? Do you see a Screen Options tab on the top right of your page? If so, open that and ensure that Page Attributes has been selected.
    If you want to send login info I would be happy to take a look. Just set as a private reply.

    If you set your homepage as your latest post page from settings > reading, then enable Page Content in the homepage layout manager from theme options > home layout, then your latest post will display on the homepage and you can choose to show pagination.
    Hope that helps!

    Hi,

    is it possible to place a full-width header slider (in place of the page title header) on pages that are not the home page?

    #228617

    Hello
    I am developing a web with Virtue theme, and I can not see the selector to select the page template from the attributes pages.
    any suggestions?

    Thanks for the info.

    HI

    yes thats OK, but there is no pagination with this option.

    I suppose i could add a link to another page that uses the blog grid set to start on page 2 or something if the items per page is set the same…

    seems like a bit of a limitation though, it would be nice to have this as an option without resorting to just using latest posts in the settings.

    Hey guys,

    I am running into some z-index issues on this page:

    If I load the content under my dropdown not inside of a Kadence Blocks row everything works but when I load the content in a Kadence Blocks row I run into this issue.

    Screenshot:

    This is a custom dropdown but I’m pretty stumped as to why it works when I don’t load the below content in a Kadence Blocks row.

    Hey,
    AMP doesn’t allow custom js so the page wouldn’t be valid. Whats the plugin I can look at supporting it through different ways.

    Hi,

    I have 2 related questions:

    1. My portfolio page titles need to be in italics as they are animal/ plant species names (this is a scientific convention I want to follow). So, I have added HTML tags in each individual title and that works well, BUT when I hover the mouse over the navigation arrows the name of the next/ previous portfolio page title appears in the hover text and the HTML tags are still showing. I’m not too bothered about whether this hover text is in italics or not, but I really don’t want the html tags to show up around it. Is there anything I can do about this?

    2. The grid icon between the two arrows currently directs to the All Projects Portfolio grid page. I really need it to redirect to the individual category portfolio grid page that each portfolio item belongs to. My All Projects page/ portfolio base is ‘Wildlife’, and one category is ‘Butterflies’. I want users to be able to choose a category from Wildlife (e,g Butterflies) and once they enter the Butterfly category, the Portfolio Icon (between the navigation arrows) takes them back BUTTERFLIES not Wildlife. (They can get back to Wildlife through the main menu or the breadcrumbs if they want).

    I would really appreciate your help, especially the second issue! I am using the WordPress dashboard to do stuff, so not sure if this is something I can change through that.

    Thanks,

    Andrew.

    Good afternoon
    I am using Ascend Premium on a site with multiple custom post types. The main blog setting is to use a right hand sidebar, but for this post type, I wish to use a full width template. I have created a child theme and taken a copy of single.php renamed as single-wpdmpro.php (tp match the cpt slug) and removed the
    if ( ascend_display_sidebar() ) section.

    The page is using the new single-wpdmpro.php template and no sidebar is showing, but the content column width is still the same as it was before. I am not sure exactly what is controlling the width, but I suspect that I need to replace the main content div statement
    <div class="main <?php echo esc_attr( ascend_main_class() ); ?>" id="ktmain" role="main">

    Can you please advise what classes I should use to make the content full width?

    I am currently working on a local machine, so cannot post a url.

    Thanks

    Mandy

    You can add a video in a full width row without using the slider just in the page content.

    If you are wanting sound then you will have to turn off autplay.

    Hey Jay,
    You can’t use a page template on the homepage as the home page template will automatically override. What is your reason for not wanting to use the latest posts on the homepage? You could also add your blog posts via shortcode like this: [blog_grid orderby=date items=4 columns=3 cat=photos]

    Hey,
    In Theme Options > Home Layout move Page Title over to Disabled in the Homepage Layout Manager. Then add this to your custom css box in Theme Options > Advanced Settings:

    .contentclass {
        padding-top: 0;
    }

    Hope that helps!

    #228532

    I think I accidentally submitted a request on another entry.
    Here is the issue: All of my pages are white. I have reinstalled Virtue, but to no avail. I have disabled the plugins, so I don’t think that is the issue.

    Do you need the admin credentials?

    #228531

    Hi Hannah,

    So it is very strange… are sure you tried when you were logged in? Otherwise it works.

    On my side same issue on Chrome and Firefox, on different laptops and from different ISP connections.

    Just checked again a few minutes ago… when I tried to access to your Membership product page (https://www.kadencewp.com/product/kadence-membership/) : Capture

    Maybe a coincidence…

    I will re-enable “Advanced Reviews” if tests are necessary. But I also need to create a test profile for you.

    Let me know if you still can’t reproduce this problem.

    Thank you in advance.

    Kind Regards,
    Sylvain
