Hi, we have noticed a strange issue on our website. Every time we load a page with lots of accordion items, one of them will fail to open.

The panel which fails to open is different each time.

Looking at the inspector, the panel content is all rendered normally, but the open action (aria-expanded=true) is not executed on one of the panels .

Please see attached image.

Do you have any idea what is causing this? Thanks for your help.

Actually, turns out, whether I have TinyMCE active or not, Virtue sets the font size to 11.

It’s also true whether I’m using Gutenberg and/or the Classic Editor plugin.

In Theme Options, I have the font size set to 14 in “Typography” under “Body Font Options”. Changing that doesn’t impact the font output; still 11.

This is true in all my installations of the theme.

The only way I can currently change the font size in posts and pages is to install TinyMCE Advanced and manually click the font size drop down.

Hi! I need a smart person please to help with this as my css skills don’t seem to be up to speed.

Problem:
When I convert an existing wordpress post to “blocks” that has a default style wordpress image gallery; the new gradient image overlay shows the image caption text on the image and no longer under as it would in the default wordpress gallery. On mobile devices this makes it hard to tap or click the image to enlarge.

Question:
How can I remove the gradient image overlay on wordpress gallery images and drop the image caption text to display under the image the same as it would normally in wordpress? I would still like to keep the image box shadow that display when using Kadence Blocks Pro.

I cannot save any theme options. In an attempt to resolve I upgraded to latest ascend theme and updated WP to 5.2 but no difference. Is there a way to trace or debug the error? I deactivated all plugins and still get the error “There was a problem with your action. Please try again or reload the page”

I’m trying to create a private website. I’ve been publishing pages as “private” and that’s working OK, after I figured out how to deal with the menu system.

Unfortunately, when I create private posts, widgets like “latest posts” stop listing any private posts. So I’m publishing posts as public and then trying to hide the content, first by hiding menu items (which I can do), and then making the content disappear on the pages themselves. I don’t mind the titles showing, but I don’t want to show images or text content.

I am able to do this for single posts, by modifying line 69 on content-single.php in my child theme from

the_content(); to
if (is_user_logged_in()){the_content();}

However, I’m trying to eliminate the entries on my blog page, which is showing full posts with readmore links. I’m using the Virtue Premium Blog Template, and thought I could do a similar action for this page by modifying line 52 of content-fullpost.php to be:

if (is_user_logged_in()){the_content($readmore); }

However, this doesn’t seem to do anything.

I did a search for other files which contain “the_content” but couldn’t find anything that seemed relevant.

Suggestions?

Hi Ben
It worked fine on my laptop. I rebooted my pc and tried and it was fine.

Most of my pages used the Pagebuilder and it seems that whatever the problem was, it was occurring on the couple of pages on the website that don’t use the Pagebuilder. When I went into these pages (once it was working), it was using Gutenberg and you couldn’t see the option for Pagebuilder. I have now installed the Classic Editor plugin and the editing screen has gone back to normal with Pagebuilder now appearing.

Anyway, it is all working now, so thank you once again for all your help – I realise you went beyond the call of duty and I’m very grateful.

Just tried the Guttenberg Stackables. They conflict with the SiteOrigin PageBuilder. It appears that I will have to disable Pagebuilder in order to use plugin. Not worth it. I’m just going to live without. 😉

You need to contact your hosting provider. It appears your server is sending out a cached version. I can’t find any plugin adding caching so I have to guess it is on the server level.

If you use a url that forces the server to clear cache then you get the correct page, for example: http://www.hramioann.ru/?cache

Hey,
That isn’t an option within the theme options. The shop page has a different setting from your category pages in the theme options but categories are all controlled with one setting.

You can create a child theme and add your own sidebar logic. It would require you add a custom filter. Is managing a child theme something you are interested in?

Hey,
Try adding your slider to the homepage from Theme Options > Home Page Header. You can select Kadence Slider Pro from the dropdown. Does that work for you?
