Hi Team,
I have “Latest Blog Posts” showing on the homepage for this site.
The resulting display has been fine until I wanted to include a newspaper cutting. Because of the way the image is cropped, the cutting looks wrong. Please could you advise how I can force the cutting to show without cropping?
I have tried body.home article img {object-fit: contain;} but that was not the answer.
Many thanks,
Phil.In forum: Virtue ThemeIn forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Button Collor and hoover

Yes. Thank you! It worked, but I’d like the logo much bigger on the home page without affecting the logo on the other pages — the pages that display when you press one of the front page buttons (about us, News, Conservation properties, events and donate).

One option that may work for you would be to re-add the page header by removing this CSS:
/* Disable the sticky header on the HOME page */ .home header#kad-banner { display: none; }Add this CSS to remove the menu:
.home .kad-header-right { display: none; }This CSS to make the sticky header transparent;
.home #kad-banner { background: transparent; }And then add a logo for your transparent header in Theme Options> Site Header “Logo (For Transparent Header).”
Does that work for you?

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeI’d like to add my company logo to the home page of my website. For my home page, I am using a Kadence slider without a top menu. I’d like to add my logo somewhere on my Kadence photo, but at the same time, I need to make sure that my home page stays “responsive” and looks good for tablets and mobile phone. I’d like your creative advice on how to add my logo.
My website is [email protected] — Thank you.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Staff grid
Hey Anita,
In your staff grid edit page under Staff Page Options you should see a dropdown beside “Use Staff Excerpt or Content?” You can choose content from there and it will show your staff descriptions.
You can change the “All” text from Theme Options > Langauge Settings > Dynamic filter All text.
Hope that helps!Hannah

In forum: Virtue ThemeThanks Ben, yes, it makes sense and we are getting closer now.
Only things missing at the moment, are to center the feature image in the header and to remove the feature image from the original place under the menu (as of now the feature image shows twice on all pages except the front page, see e.g here: http://soenderborgmusikforening.dk/program/)
If you could also provide the last piece of code, I would be very happy.

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Remove checkout notices
Hi there
I’m trying to remove the ‘Have a coupon? Click here to enter your code’ notice from the checkout process which shows on the ‘ORDER INFO’ tab. Also, if you go back to the ‘SHIPPING’ tab then back over to the ‘ORDER INFO’ tab a random cart notice appears with no text, which I need to prevent happening – refreshing the page gets rid of it but I’m not sure why it’s even there in the first place..?
I’ve got the checkout coupon modal and wish for this to be the only way for customers to enter their coupon code.
Thanks, look forward to hearing from you.

In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Problem with center bottom title background parallax
April 8, 2019 at 4:16 pm #222493Yep there is a parallax framework that doesn’t use background attachment, and like I said above that would be a good option for you since you can simply add a slider like that to your page instead of an image.
I will note that for me the animation is much jumpier when scrolling but that can be different based on your mouse/scroll settings.
When fixing the image to the page is it possible to scale/size it to the image area and then fix that to the page for scrolling rather than scaling/sizing it to the full page?
no, not when using background attachment.
In forum: Ascend ThemeIn forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: How do I size my images for kadence slider pro?
OK for now let’s skip parallax, I cannot put more than on of those on a page.
Just the slider pro
I downloaded and image from Adobe 5472 x 3648
I had to set the slider to 1400 x 2400 the full height and full width and aspect ratio on to get the entire image to display in the slider on the page
This is the first slider on the page https://jpriceanalytics.com/services-dnp/ this is the full imageI want my slider to be about 500 tall so the second slider on the page is 500 x 1200. I set “center top” for reference ( and took the defaults) but the picture cropped both height and width. I have cropped and saved the image in multiple sizes. My question is if I want my slider to be 500 x 1200 full width what size does my picture need to be in order for the picture to be fully displayed????
For the third slider on the page I saved the image to 500 x 750 in adobe ps; set the slider to full width full height and aspect ratio and it does not even come close to displaying the entire image…?In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Setting Background Image
